“5 stars is not nearly enough stars for this place. I have celiac disease (severe wheat/gluten allergy) and when I saw gluten free cheese curds and gluten free fried pickles on the menu, I about cried. I haven’t had cheese curds or fried pickles at a sports bar since I was diagnosed 11 years ago. Their food is absolutely incredible- something you normally wouldn’t expect from a place like this. I’m so grateful to whoever created the menu!

“We were here for dinner over the weekend and everything about this place was phenomenal we tried multiple things off of the to share or not portion of the menu and loved every bit of it. The whole grilled fish our waitress mentioned rotates depending on what is available fresh and it was cooked to Perfection and probably our favorite thing all weekend. The cocktail menu is unique and everything that we had the opportunity to try was delicious I highly recommend doing the cocktail flight to anybody who doesn't have a favorite spirit. Staff was incredibly friendly and knew what they were talking about if you had questions. To those looking at going here reservations are a must!!!! Great atmosphere as well“

“If anyone would like a good restaurant to eat at I would suggest going to the North Pole restaurant in Newport Minnesota. The staff are nice and when you ask them for something they will get it for you right away.“

The deviled eggs with shrimp was awesome The six of us all had something different from the scallops to the walleye to the salmon all fantastic. Dry rub wings were lacking in flavor, needed a lot more seasoning. My friend got the Buffalo wings and loved the sauce on those. No home made ranch which is disappointing. Cheese curds are a small portion and are just frozen not hand breaded. Drinks are pretty spendy if you are not there for happy hour. Great spot before a wild game or other Xcel events but parking isn’t ideal and food isn’t good enough to seek out any other night. Place was dead on a Friday night.“

Throughout the meal, their attentiveness was remarkable. They anticipated our needs, refilling drinks and checking in at just the right moments, all while balancing other tables with ease. The knowledge of the menu was impressive; they offered excellent recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed for a great dining experience.

“I’ve been to this restaurant 3 times, and it’s been great every time.
Food - Me and my friends that go here have gotten a Hot Honey pizza every time we go, along with some appetizers. None of the things we order disappoint. We usually get a large pizza and save some leftovers, and they heat up great.
Service - Great service, especially when compared to some other sit down restaurants. Short wait times, food is always fresh, and staff is always friendly. They also granted us a special request when we asked for an XL pizza while we were there (XL is usually only an online option)
Atmosphere - Plenty of seating and many booths, which I appreciate. Only con is that it can be noisy when seated next to the bar, but that’s totally fine and to be expected.
Great place for group dining, they do serve large portions here.

Parking: Never have had any issues with parking.“

Stepping into the building is like stepping back in time, with the art deco bar, original appliances and the best Coney dogs in town. The Coney dogs are served to the public just a few times a year, but when they are here it would be a shame to miss out on this historic treat! They are absolutely delicious!
