“I have been frequenting since 1993. The new management has added a real upscale feel to the decor. The prices are still very affordable for drinking. Kitchen was closed and there seemed to be a general grumbling about dismay with new management but no tangible reason why other than the owner we had all known for dozens of years wasn't there anymore. Ole Piper is still a staple of the community and holds a tradition of providing a one-of a kind dining experience to the neighborhood. I am glad they survived for so long but I am confused about their lack of events/activities like darts, top golf, big game hunter, arcade games, or karaoke that graced these halls in years past.“
“This is our favorite place. We come multiple times a week. Good drinks, food never disappoints, and the staff are like an extended family to us. This is our Cheers. Cheese Curds are to die for. Hangover burger, garlic parm wings, fish and chips, sandwiches - it’s all good!“
“It was my first time. My husband and i went on a sunday, after church. Great little cafe vibe! The food was cooked to order. There was so much food! It was delicious and worth the price point. We met Suzie and she is an amazing woman. Please make this one of your local businesses to support. We need these in our communitiesKid-friendliness: Definitely a place kids would like“
“One of our favorites. We love to support local spots, and Fireside is #1. A great supporter of Rosemount High School, too! My husband arranged a surprise 50th birthday party for me in their party room. Fantastic food, great service, and a menu with some unique dishes. Try the Chop Chop Salad! ?“
“Went on st Patrick's day, it was busy so we expected the service to be slower. First off, the complimentary popcorn was AMAZING. The food was spectacular! I got the bacon wrapped meatloaf and would definitely get again. We tried the Reuben rolls and Irish stew which may have only been on the menu for the holiday so sorry if so. Tried the peach cobbler mule, drinks were strong but worth it! Very open and spacious seating. Will be back!“
“My husband and I went on Veterans Day... The line was long and we decided to order from the table.. Besides my own slowness in choosing my food... the service was fast once I "checked out." My husband also got a free cone for being a veteran...“
“Wonderful fresh food selection and service was cheerful and attentive. Ordered an Old Fashion and when we got the bill found out they charge an extra $2 for an ice ball. This should have been disclosed and it is frozen water…$2 extra is excessive.“
“Without a doubt, the best fish & chips we've had in the Mpls/St Paul area. Yes, better than The Anchor in Mpls. Hopefully, they'll offer all year. With the fine food was excellent service to match. Great bar team. Combine with fair prices and an excellent rewards program, you have a winner here.“
