“I come here because they have a pretty generous Groupon and they’re also dog friendly. They have lots of board games as well so it’s sort of family friendly. It’s always a good time for sure. You’ll be sort of confused because their cocktails are extremely pricey. You can see that in the pictures. I mean, a cocktail for $32?!?!?!? Does it come in a gallon jug? It’s just really confusing. It’s pricey because you buy them by bulk, which is a different approach for sure! The beers are great and tasty and the prices are reasonable for them so very confused on the cocktails.Lastly, they have a lot of THC products, sodas and gummies, so if that’s your jam, you are well catered for!“
“I live in the neighborhood and have come for trivia a few times now. The tacos and nachos are delicious. I went specifically to try the Serrano Dona Fria Mexican Lager and was NOT disappointed. They also sell “You Betcha!” thc chocolate and their own thc seltzers. Excited to have them in our neighborhood and will be back for the Serrano!“
“This is a great brewery that we visit often. It is set apart from other breweries by the family friendly atmosphere and cheerful staff. It can be pretty full on a Friday or Saturday but we can usually find a table. The plants, the families, and the general friendly feel of the place will make you think you’re at a neighborhood barbecue. The patio is nice with cool awnings to provide some shade. The whole place is clean and bright. But let’s talk beer, because that’s why we’re there, right? The beer is excellent. There’s a good variety and the staff is knowledgeable about the differences. The Dark Knight is smooth and a favorite of mine, even though I’m not usually a dark beer drinker. The Pils Are Good is an easy drinker and the Moon Boots is my husband’s favorite with its low ibu rating. You’ll come for the and you’ll return for the atmosphere.“
“It was a pleasure to meet Joe! Despite everything being full of hate, "America" I was delighted to have Joe as my server, and he was marvelously amazing! Let's get out of our comfort zones and say hi, hi, greet, and simply be kind to each other! My partner Brian and I are following Joe's footsteps.“
“My family and I really enjoyed visiting Bang. The staff are helpful with beer recommendations. This is a dog friendly brewery and dogs are allowed inside and outside. They also have a fire pit and tables outside. There is also wood fire pizza available during the spring and summer months. We will be back.“
“Forgotten Star has become one of my favorites. A good selection of good beer, dog friendly, and a great space. Having both indoor and outdoor spaces with ample social distancing is super. Plus bocce, and rumors of curling this winter. And a food truck dock too!“
“As the name suggests, this place is all about being social. You definitely want to come with a group. My party of two stopped by on a trivia night and, even with the host on the loud speakers, I'd say the sound split was 55/45 in favor of guest chatter. Nicely varied selection of drinks, and the food truck has a solid burger. Tots were a bit over seasoned for my taste.“
“Great ambience!!! Fun space and not too busy on a Saturday afternoon to bring my boys! Beer was great! Many different Pilsners to choose from! And some good N/A options for the kids. Fun and friendly staff and added bonus of a parking lot!!“

“It's one of my go-to spots whenever I'm in Minneapolis. The atmosphere and service are standard brewpub. Good, but nothing out of the ordinary.Food is solid, mostly standard bar food, but it's well done with the cheese curds being noteworthy. The beer is definitely the highlight, there is a wide variety of well executed styles with the big barrel aged beers being some of the best in the state.I've been several times, and I'm sure I will be back next time I'm in Minneapolis.“
“Wham Bam thank you Falling Knife! If you want a brewery that everyone knows your name, this is the place to be. A ton of regulars who aren’t degenerates. There are so many small events going on weekly like Trivia Mafia, Magic, T-wolves pod cast, pinball tourneys and and and… big events are so cool with live bands and random food trucks to your liking. WRECTANLGE PIZZA truck is a permanent year round truck that serves up Dee best pizza in the twin cities! The staff is enjoyably attentive, charismatic and friendly to the pour (don’t tell the manager?)I love this low ceiling, small concept atmosphere because of the patrons who visit. The service with a smile…The Beer! Tom… the master of the universe and master brewer has a fantastic variety and outstanding standard to every beer he crafts! “Verbal Tip” is my favorite hazy beer, like ever! Hops, lagers, dank, fruity, warm comfort styles of beers make up the list along with THC drinks, slushes and some kind of bitters thing on a belt ?Come here and have fun! Let loose! Be free and don’t drive drunk!I’ll see you here ?“

“ABSOLUTE FAVORITE place for great "pals getting together" atmosphere with excellent service and satisfying options for everyone. I love the big variety of ciders too! I previously thought I didn't like cider and now I love it!“
“I came for the West Side Popper Smoked Jalapeño Cream Ale after seeing it on Facebook. I had a "sword" (4-drink flight), and enjoyed each of my beers. My flight consisted of West Side Popper, Basement Ghost West Coast IPA, Altbier, and CDL Required Czech Dark Lager.“
“Stop #36 on our 2024 Hundreds of Hops self-guided US Hop Passport Brewery Tour We're over 1/3 of the way to our goal of 100 for 2024! Strolled up on Friday with the intent of hitting fish fry Friday whilst collecting another stamp & hit half of that. The gent un front if us ordered the last fish - boo. We skipped the food and ordered our stamp BOGOs. I opted for the Irish-style dry Stout on Nitro, giving it a 3.75 & the hubs went with the IPA Tornado Drill at a 4.25. Service was good & we were able to grab a seat on the patio & it was a beautiful evening . We came in at $8.15, before tip. The place has hopping & the scent of fried fish still lingered as we departed... next time, next time.“
“We recently enjoyed the the Köld Kolsch from Fair State. We do like our kolsch beers and we enjoyed this one fairly well. It had all the features and highlights like a kolsch should. With this beer the flavor highlights are crisp ,clean, bready and some presence of graininess. It was a very refreshing beer and one that we liked quite a bit as the heat of midsummer cranked up a few notches when we enjoyed this Kolsch a few weeks ago.“
“Waldmann Brewery is an amazing location with great food, amazing lager style beers, and a wonderful historic location. If any of those things appeal to you, this is your place. The staff are friendly and the events they host are great (Oktoberfest, St Nikolaus evening, german New Year's Eve), and the Biergarden is authentic and relaxing, even during the winter.“
“MetroNOME is a warm and welcoming space that brings together really good beer and music. Each time you buy a ticket to a show or drink a brew, part of the proceeds goes to supporting music education in Twin Cities metro area groups. It’s a win win!“
“We visited Headflyer yesterday during the Johnny Athletic podcast recording. Packed house. Our first visit to this brewery and we were impressed. Excellent beer. I had the Feel the Flow Golden Ale. A great choice for me. My wife enjoyed the Root Down. Friendly staff. Nice size parking lot.“

“Highlights are Belgian-style beers and wood-fired pizza. Plenty of space for groups to gather inside or outside (dog-friendly patio). If you're not inclined to beer, there's wine, mocktails, cocktails, THC bevs and house-made root beer.Saint Paul Brewing has continued to develop their variety of flavors and I can't wait to see what they do next.“
“WOW!!! Just Wow..... can't really say enough about my "1st impression" !!!! From the moment I took my seat I felt like this place was going to be awesome..... Again, and for dramatic effect................. do not, I repeat DO NOT!!! miss the opportunity to take advantage of thos hidden gem....“
“Venn is one of South Minneapolis' great breweries! The space is nice and large and has a great outdoor option as well! Always plenty of seating. They host trivia once a week as well. Solid lineup of food trucks and you can bring in food or have it delivered. Their beer is solid. If you are a sour person I HIGHLY recommend you check out Venn. They also have a great coffee shop in the mornings if you're looking for a early pick me up. Staff is friendly, atmosphere is great!“
“The beer is very good, and it's one of my favorite tap room venues in the city. It's in an old factory (plane wing manufacturing?) with the cranes still in the rafters. Fantastic semi-covered outdoor space, cornhole/bean-bag toss, several tables, and an overpriced food truck.Update several years later: still one of the best atmospheres in the metro. Family and dog friendly. Open air, huge patio, great food trucks.“
“Gambit Brewing has a fun and energetic atmosphere and they offer music, comedy, trivia, and other fun evening activities! I love their hard or non-alcoholic seltzer cocktails and they have a great variety of beer along with gourmet pizza and other snack foods. A great stop whether you are grabbing a beverage before a downtown event or stopping in for an evening with friends.“
“This is a fun dog friendly, child friendly brewery. It was very busy when we stopped by for a beer before a soccer game. The bar tenders were friendly, quick and patient. The Lake monster theme is fun. There is quite a bit of seating inside and a large patio. You can order food from a place across the patio and they will deliver it right to you. The beer was good.“
“Insight Brewing and Taproom is a large, expansive, local taproom, with polite and friendly staff behind the bar. There are lots and lots of seating options, including a suedo "living room" showing movies, long "Munich Oktoberfest" style high-top tables, bar stools at the long and curving bar, and a number of intimate booths and cubbie areas to snuggle up with your "significant other".Insight has a large parking lot located on the West side of the facility, and is convenient in location being just a couple of blocks west of 280.Atmosphere is down-home comfortable, with a good mix of ages throughout the taproom. Great vibe! Dogs are certainly allowed, and there were many of them present last night. The taproom offers a wide variety of beers on tap, including 6 - 7 THC seltzers and limited release collab beers. There are also a couple of kombucha and soda NA options.Only downside for me last night was the strong smell of cleaning fluids wafting throughout the brewery. Granted, I showed up approximately 1.5 hours prior to closing, so the staff was cleaning up prior to close. But it was a strong smell just the same, and messed up my taste of the otherwise delicious beers I had there last night (I tried the Level Up, a classic American Pale Ale and their Night Shift - a delicious, heavy, dark and semi-sweet porter). In terms of the cleaning smell, I am thankful that they ARE cleaning the taproom with the strong chemicals! Good health for all!Overall, great experience at Insight!“
“Good beers with healthy pours and chill bartenders. Delicious Greek food is just a few clicks away, you can order it right on your phone using the QR code provided. Several TV's and a nice big projection screen so you can watch the local team of whatever the current season is break your heart live, in real time, right here with the whole gang. And if you don't like the sound of that, then you don't like Minnesota and you can take it elsewhere, buddy. ?“
“Have been to many microbreweries over the years and have never seen one as unique as this one. Being a sci-fi fantasy fan myself, I really appreciated the decor with nods to Tolkien and Monty Python's Holy Grail. Custom artwork on t-shirts and wall hangings is very well done! There's darts, frisbee, painting groups, live music, and many other interesting things to see and do here. Really like all the little cubbyholes too. Sampled a flight and enjoyed the full flavor and creaminess of the Baltic Orc Porter so much, I HAD to pickup some for home! Excellent, knowledgeable staff and the owner walking around chatting with customers was nice. Three dollar discounts for growlers on Wednesdays too. Loved the original names given to the brews as well. Most likely will become regulars and will definitely be back.“
“The original and one of the best tap rooms, yet it still seems undiscovered at times perhaps because of the location. Summit was one of the original craft breweries in the upper Midwest when the craze started in the late eighties/early nineties and it has persevered making quality beer since then. The tap room is spacious, yet still has a cozy feel. With plenty of seating inside and out, it's a year round destination though its hours are more limited than many tap rooms. That may reflect that it's main focus is still brewing beer. They always have their main stays on tap with a seasonal or two. They don't make super trendy beers, but they don't need to. Their beer is good. The atmosphere is cozy. Great place to stop.“
“We had an extended stay at the hotel upstairs and found ourselves at Finnegans every night, first out of convenience and quickly because we fell in love! The staff is awesome, the flights are solid AND lots of neighbors hang out there with their well-behaved dogs. A hotel bar with a local canine clientele cannot be beat, especially for weary travelers. We will definitely be back!“
“Such a fun environment and great beers! I was all about the Foggy Dew and then the Paddy's Premium (pictured) came out on St Patrick's Day and I've got a new fave!! Good, classic, forever delicious beers served by friendly and helpful staff :)“
“Went to the late show to see Dave Hill do comedy. Tried their sour on tap and it was delicious! Would have loved if the brewery itself, stayed open later after the show! Looks like a fun place to hang out and throw a few back. The space we saw the show in was intimate and quaint. Nice bartender.“
“Nice taproom, friendly staff, dog friendly, good lower ABV Hazy IPA, very nice lower ABV seltzers, food truck, convenient parking. What's not to like? We really appreciated the open feeling with all the windows letting the sunshine in. We'll definitely be back!“
“I recently had the pleasure of celebrating a friend's birthday at LynLake Brewery, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The staff's courtesy and professionalism were exemplary, making our celebration seamless and enjoyable. From the moment we arrived with our birthday cake, there were no issues or hesitations from the management, which made us feel incredibly welcome. The atmosphere was lively yet cozy, perfect for a gathering of friends. One of the highlights of the evening was the quality of both the food and the beer. The menu offered a diverse selection of delicious dishes, and the beers on tap were fresh and satisfying. It was evident that LynLake Brewery takes pride in offering a top-notch culinary and drinking experience to its patrons.Overall, I highly recommend The Lyn lake Brewery for any occasion, whether it's a casual night out with friends or a special celebration. Their combination of excellent service, high-quality food, and great beer ensures a memorable and enjoyable time for all.“
“Broken Clock was great! They had some tasty beers, including one of the best blueberry beers I've ever had. They also serve Mexican food in-house which was nice - many breweries don't serve food. We tried the tamale of the day and the nachos, which were very good. The space was cool inside and they have a wonderful little play area for kids which works perfectly for our stage in life. Would definitely go here again!“
“From out of town and have made several visits over the past few years. Popular place and close enough to the Arena to get pre and post hockey and concert crowds.Ample outside seating. No food. LOVED the Haze Oasis which had not been available on previous visits. Of course will be back.“
“Interesting location, beer is good. Parking is best done on the street or in the lot across the street. Parking is a challenge when the game business in the same building is busy. Like a Sunday afternoon ? They were great and let the girl scouts sell cookies. Great space with lots of options for seating and a wall of games to use while there. Saw many tables using those.“
“Stopped in for drinks with friends when the Black Market took place in their shared parking lot. I didn't even know this place existed, so I was glad to stumble upon it. I heard it might be closing, but I hope not because I would love to visit again.“
“Best gluten free beer in the USA!I also work for Burning Brothers on their cooling needs and owners are top notch business owners, pay there bill on time and never cheat or complain on pricing. You guys are a gem in the rough. The newest product last few years Burning Brothers has produced is Kite Soda THC/CBD Carbonited Alcohol free drinks! Personally enjoy them as well as others I've gifted them too. There also great for making spiked Ice-cream Root Beer Floats...My crew and myself are honored to have been given the opportunity years ago to be your cooling solution, and hope your team feels the same way.Hoping you guys survive the virus issues all small business are facing.Keep up the good work guys and thank you on behalfof my team for the biz!“
“Popped in a few weeks ago for a beer release. They have an event space off to the left when you walk in. The space is really bright and I appreciated there were a couple few bathrooms in the space so you wouldn't have to go out in to the tap room. The beers were delicious and the staff were friendly. They have a tiny parking lot but there is plenty of street parking. Thanks 56 for delicious beers, cheers!“

“Warm, lovely atmosphere. As a tourist, I felt welcome. The appetizers were delicious. The pizza tastes dirty. The hamburgers are a wow!The beer is unbelievably excellent. Service is wonderful. This is a place you have to stop by in Minneapolis Minnesota.“
“As far as I'm concerned, this is (with due respect to Summit) the O.G. of the neo-craft brewing scene in this city. Gorgeous room, with a second bar on the other side of the building. Nice selection of snacks. Most important, consistently delicious beer. Very highly recommended.“

“Freehouse located right in North Loop has a great patio! My two favorite menu items, dynamic duo drink and Brussels sprouts appetizer. Absolutely fantastic every time! We also tried out the cheese curds, wings and roto bird baguette, all were also very good. The two sauces with the cheese curds really level it up. Recommend Freehouse if you're looking for a good patio, lively atmosphere and consistent food/drinks.“
“Went to Fulton Brewery for their Mini Holidazzle! I had the blueberry Fulton Narc (sparkling THC water) which was good. We also had nachos, a walking taco, and pulled chicken sliders. Everything was good except for the pulled chicken sliders, I would not reccomend them, we should have gotten the pulled pork sliders. The ambiance of Fulton was fun!“
“Settled in the center of a U shape configuration, Wild Minds created a beautiful family and dog friendly outdoor patio. Order a cold coffee, read a book and stay for one of their many tasty beers and THC drinks. Food trucks change regularly to mix up your tastebuds.“

“My husband and I had a date night out away from our kiddos and this place did not disappoint. We shared an assortment of things and each dish was as delicious as the next. The staff was fantastic and so welcoming. We will most certainly be back!“
“Surly Brewing Company is a hidden gem for craft beer lovers! I had the pleasure of trying their unique brews, including the refreshing En Agave La Vida and the citrusy Grapefruit Supreme - both absolute favorites. The highlight of my visit was definitely the brisket queso with avocado chunks and chips. The combination of flavors was out of this world - a perfect balance of cheesy goodness, tender brisket, creamy avocado, and crunchy chips. The atmosphere was vibrant and friendly, and the staff was knowledgeable and attentive. I can't wait to go back and sample more of their delicious offerings!“
“Fun fact - my husband and I had our first date at Pryes Brewing and later got engaged there! We have visited many time, the most recent being this previous Saturday for a drink with a few friends. We do appreciate their large selections for drinks, catering to those who are GF as we all those seeking NA options. The outdoor seating is always plenty, although less used during cold seasons. One thing that always happens is upon walking inside, there are a couple tables in the area people line up to order. So every time, you find people in one or two long lines waiting when there are staff just waiting and sitting around, not wanting to stand between the tables to order at the other stations. And I have never seen staff wave or call people over, instead standing around chatting or on their phones. They have expanded their space since we started coming, we often see couples, families, friends, and more using the space which is lovely. One thing that is a drawback that prevents us from visiting sometimes, is the parking. If you are trying to attend an event at Pyres, you will very well not find a parking spot unless you circle for an hour or park far away. Putting lines on the street parking along the curbs would be very helpful to maximize parking spots. Pros are for sure their large selection of drinks, they allow doggies (outside only I think), their location right off the Mississippi river, the space, the environment that is appropriate for families to first dates, and that they have lots of seating and food. Cons are the parking and long lines. Recommend to check it out (not during an event for the first time unless you Uber/Lyft).“

“Really nice space and like the fact that they have food service from Tipsy Steer. I had the Baby got Bock (amber) and the Pinecone which were both very good. The food was also good, I had the cheese pizza. This is definitely worth the visit if you're in the Minneapolis area.“
