“We came here with the promise of some great Coneys, and we were not disappointed. Yeah the place is a bit of a dive, but that definitely adds to the charm. The apps we had (fried mushrooms and mozzarella sticks) were delicious, but those Coneys... OH MY GOD!!! Absolutely delicious! I had 2 but I could've easily downed 2 more. So good, and what was especially impressive that every one of the 5 total that we had looked exactly the same. The consistency of the cook is often overlooked at other places, but not here. Top notch! Also, our bartender Jade (sp?) was super friendly and always on top of anything we needed. Very funny too. A little bit of humorous commentary made for an even better experience.

As I said, the Coneys are to die for, but I would also recommend the Reuben egg roll. I got one after I was finished with the dogs, and it was absolutely amazing!

Gopher Bar is definitely the place to check out if you are a Coney Dog fan. And if you're not, there's plenty of other options to try that all looked incredible when I scanned the menu. Also, and this is yet another reason to choose The Gopher, the prices are very cheap. I wouldn't have expected to get full for under $20 anywhere these days, but they certainly did it! I'm actually getting hungry again just typing this! 😅

“Absolutely blew me away. I have such a hard time eating out since my job is F&B but on a Sunday night after grocery shopping this place hit the spot! My son has a great cheeseburger with cheese stick. My husband loves his flatbread with large pepperonis and I was completely in love with my avocado blt and roasted Brussels sprouts! Yes, delicious sprouts as a side! Great music, friendly staff and patrons, tons of arcade games inside, pull tabs, and TVs. Thank you thank you what a great family night.“

Paddy wagon shuttle bus too and from Xcel during sporting events and concerts is great when you want a sober ride! Only down side is they don't wait long when boarding and departing but have they will make 2-3 trips too if needed ( not sure if from, bus has always been packed). Went to the pink concert Thursday night have we had 10 mins to get to the bus before they left. 2 people almost didn't make it in time.

Parking: Parking lot, street parking and additional parking lot across the street.“

“We had a table of 12 people at Red Rock Bar & Grill on Easter Sunday (3/31/24). The food was very good and we enjoyed having a private dining room for our family. Our servers ( Mimi and Aiden) were not only good at their jobs, but very likeable and engaging with our group. We had family from Eau Claire, WI, Spring Valley, WI, Somerset, WI, Wyoming, MN, Inver Grove Heights, Woodbury and Cottage Grove, MN in our group. “Tonight we rented out the Carbone's banquet room for our daughters 30th surprise birthday party. Wow what a great time we all had and the Carbone staff was outstanding. Working with Tim/Janelle/Cole and our server Chris to make this the prefect night was flaw-less. Future party gathering's at Carbone's will definitely be happening. “A classic Saint Paul neighborhood bar, with simple grub yet so affordable, a mix of Asian and American. All served as takeaway but you can eat it there if you want and the portions are gigantic. There's bingo two nights a week, a Friday afternoon meat raffle, and pulltabs/etabs. Locals are the majority of the clientele but for all its grittiness, it's a safe place with patrons who care about the establishment! Watch out for the parking lot. It's a dirt lot minefield of potholes that will destroy your transmission of you go faster than 1 mph.“

“A group of 11 on Friday evening at a lovely round table set a bit into a nook. The food and drinks were great, as was the service. It’s a visually lovely place. Unfortunately, the noise was so overwhelming, I left with a headache, and disappointed that I hadn’t been able to hear beyond each of the friends seated immediately next to me. I don’t routinely spend this much when I go out to eat, but am happy to when all the features align. Because of the noise, the Saint Paul Grill will not be a choice next time.“

“Birdi is an amazing establishment. It's hard to find a place where the food is great, customer service is top-notch, and there's awesome entertainment. The bar has a really good craft cocktail menu. Food menu changes with the season and you can tell the Chef/KM cares. Highly recommend!“
