“Came to McHugh's Public House recently to catch up with a friend. The staff was extremely kind, helpful, and attentive, and the restaurant, in spite of being pretty busy on a weekday evening, was laid out in a way that my friend and I could have a great conversation without having to shout. We kept things simple with the food and drinks, and everything we had was enjoyable. Will likely be back in the future if I'm in the area.“

“Just finished dinner at the Better Half to try out the new after dark menu - 100/10 recommend! We had the ahi tuna stack, miso sea bass, and the lobster pasta (can’t remember the name) and everything was INCREDIBLE. We wanted to order pretty much everything, it was so hard to decide! I would officially consider this one of the best menus south of the River - can’t wait to come back and do another round of taste testing until we make our way through the whole menu! Shout out to Michael our server - he always goes above and beyond (I somehow always end up in his section 😂 and he is fantastic!)“

“You know, this place really punches above it's weight. The food and atmosphere really isn't incredible in any sense but the restaurant is clean, the food arrives quickly and accurately, and the sure maybe the menu variety is pretty limited but everything arrived hot and was tasty. Also our waiter was the best dude. Ended up being a very fun/positive experience.“

“I love coming to this location when I fly out of the Minneapolis airport. The tomato soup is great. It actually is one of the best I have ever had. I also really enjoy having a mimosa before I board the plane. They make wonderful mimosas and also they make great omelettes if you’re flying out in the morning. Caleb Was very friendly and kind. “We had a wedding reception dinner here last Saturday and I would highly recommend it. Mike was so helpful the last month answering all my questions and getting everything I needed to make our night perfect. Everyone was ranting and raving on how good the food was! Our bartender Kyle C. was awesome! He was busing tables and serving drinks like a champ. He even found me the last Busch light in the bar and saved it for me. Our night could have not been more perfect thanks to the hard working staff here. Best of all it worked great with our budget! “We absolutely love this neighborhood restaurant. The Thai wings have me in an absolute chokehold. The breading on the wings gives them a delicious, crispy crunch, and the flavor is a 10/10. We’ve had several of the pizzas also and those are a slam dunk every time. And the servers are all super attentive and helpful with menu choices. It’s hard to decide what to try next!“

Cheese curds are lightly battered and lightly fried. Perfectly melted cheese inside. Very nicely done.

“Our community choir hosts a yearly music bingo fundraiser around the holidays and TJ Hooligans have been absolutely wonderful hosts! The food is delicious, the service is great, and the owner emcees the event himself. Highly recommend checking them out!“

“The environment was very calming, dim with an intimate ambiance. We ordered two items one being the porterhouse steak which was exceptional! Cooked and seasoned to perfection it was definitely one of the best steaks I've had in years. The street corn and broccolini were bursting with flavor and the single portions were more than enough to share. The salmon however was not as flavorful, more bland and the topping was a bit much for an advent salmon eater. Overall the experience at Pittsburgh was top-tier and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to family and friends.“

“We come here often, the food is great as well as the service. Service can be a little slow when it gets busy but that’s to be expected anywhere. All the food we’ve had has been very good and the margaritas are tasty and on the strong side!“

“Visited 01MAY2023 for lunch. There was only one waitress working who also served as hostess so it took a while for my party of three to get seated. When we did get seated the hostess/waitress told us that we could sit anywhere.
I ordered the cowboy club sandwich and tater tots which didn't take too long to arrive. The club sandwich was good but the tater tots were a bit cold.
Visited again 17NOV2025 for dinner. The service was excellent. Plenty of staffing with friendly staff.
Unfortunately, my meal was disappointing. I ordered the small cowboy cookout platter. My 3 meat selections were pork ribs, beef brisket, and chicken wings. The ribs and brisket came with sauce on them. I'm not a fan of the sauce and should've ordered it on the side. All 3 meats were dry. The positive is there was plenty of meat for $22, unfortunately none of it tasted good. The dinner came with baked beans and coleslaw which were actually good. You get a 3rd side with this platter so you better have an appetite if you're eating alone.“

“Simple diner at the end of Terminal F. Everything was good. Lots of room to sit if you walk all the way around the corner to the left. Gabby, a nice happy waitress from Russia, takes your order. Chocolate milkshake with whip cream? Pretty darn good! The Dmsdh burger was good too.“

“I love coming to Cowboy Jacks in Apple Valley! The staff is amazing and I love the food and happy hour specials. I also want to give a shout out to one of the managers, Calvin who intervened when he saw a man at the bar harassing me. I didn’t even have to ask him, but he could tell I was uncomfortable and asked the man to leave. It is so refreshing to go to a bar where the staff truly cares about the well-being of their customers! Great work to this whole team! I will most definitely be back!! ?“
