“Visited 4/15/24. Back at BLG. As always, give yourself time (and money) for parking. I like the ramp across the street vs trying to find street parking. We got a reservation in advance which was good because this place was popping on a Monday night! To start, we split the garlic and EVOO and then the charred red onion with goat cheese bruschettas. My sister and I were partial to the goat cheese one but both were solid. I got the gnocchi with cauliflower and orange (my fave), my sister got the red wine with pine nut spaghetti, and my mom got the mushroom and taleggio agnolotti. I've had the gnocchi before and it was just as good this time. The sleeper hit of the night was as the red wine with pine nut spaghetti-honestly a good price for the portion size and the overall flavor. The agnolotti was rich but delicious. Honestly everything that I've had at BLG has been on the richer side but that's low key how I prefer my Italian food. I love this place and would recommend it to anyone. Old school Italian meets modern in a trendier place that still feels homestyle like my Italian grandma's kitchen.“

“Update : I changed my review because the management was very kind and accommodating after I posted! They were able to compensate for the extra I paid and they made a couple changes to their menu with the avocado toast moving forward! That alone speaks volumes about proper business etiquette and I’m grateful!Original :Stopped in for brunch when we were visiting from out of town and our service was great, plus the outdoor seating on a beautiful sunny day was wonderful! However, I was a little bummed when I ordered the avocado toast and only received one piece. The menu didn’t specify how many pieces and said $12, but when I received the bill it said $14 and only received one piece. That wasn’t worth it for me!“

“Super impressed by our experience with wait staff, this place is absolutely adorable, and the food was very impressive. We loved the drink menu with so many options for N/A drinkers, too. Being able to pop next door and buy items we enjoyed at dinner to take home was a delight.“

“Just tried this place for the first time. Fun atmosphere, great service, great wine selection, and some of the best food I have had at a restaurant in a long while. The baby back ribs and the Five Spice Tofu were particularly good. Loved it!“

“The food was great overall. However, my own dish of lobster gnocchi could have used less of the salt. It's better salty than bland, though. However, the service from the young waiter with long hair was outstanding. We'll be back when my daughters can treat me to another lovely dinner.“

“Great Vibe. Space is relatively small for the amount of people that come in to enjoy. The wait is worth it; food and drink is fantastic. My only recommendation would be to print the menu in bigger font because it’s a dimly lit restaurant so get out your phone to shine a light. Definitely going back to enjoy other items. Service was top notch“

“My husband and I took our daughters out for dinner. Nightingale is a lovely restaurant with a bar in the middle. We started with deviled eggs, mushroom bruschetta and french fries. For entrées, we had the Meyer lemon risotto, hangersteak, scallops, and sunchoke soup. I didn't think the french fries were that good and my husband said the lemon risotto was not that great either but everything else was delicious. Service was excellent.“

“Very good, if very pricey, steak and seafood house. Quiet, comfortable, and artistic ambiance, excellent service. Fabulous Manhattans.Only knock is for the disappointing preparation of Chilean Sea. Much wad made of the fingerling potato confit. It was a dreadful. (Try Crave for their Sea Bass!)But lobster bites (again, very pricey) and chicken (somewhat reasonable) were excellent,Had it not been Friday in Lent, two of us would have tried the filet. The beef tray looked very good. We'll return.“

“Everything was absolutely superb! Our waiter, Carlos, took excellent care of us. Our food was exceptional ! From the seafood platter to steaks and all the accompaniments. And of course the best cocktails and wine. The evening was very important to us and Capital Grille and Carlos took the best care of us.“
“I recently hosted a fundraiser in the new private party room and it was a huge success! The staff is so professional and helpful. They went out of their way to be accommodating to us. I’d highly recommend them to anyone planning a party or an event.“

“Leah was on the case with water and menus when we sat. Our server Melissa was attentive, fun and professional. I had the bleu smash burger thing. Very tasty. I've not seen their cut of fries before, a kind of shaving technique, really flavorful. The entertainment was the best part. Alex Gelking performed a cool mix of songs and styles. He played 'Fearless' for god's sake. Good evening all around. 5 stars.“

“In love with the vibe of this place, it is dark and rustic with light wood, velvet upholstered seating, and minimal decor. The feel is a bit pretentious, but not off putting in my opinion. The food is mostly small bites and a couple sandwiches, and the wine and drinks menu is fairly priced and thoughtful.I got the olives and pickled vegetables, and the eggplant red pepper dip with crudités. The picked veg was great- crunchy carrots, cauliflower and other veg pickled to vinegary perfection. The olives were big meaty Castlevetrano olives. For me things went downhill with the dip and vegetables. The dip was sweet and spicy, but the assortment of vegetables was not my cup of tea. I didn’t touch the celery or the green onion (was I supposed to eat that on its own..?) The cooked mushrooms were good and the quality of the vegetables were great, but I should’ve asked what veg was included before ordering. Also, a bit of bread included with this would be a nice addition, without needing to order it separate and pay extra. The apricot old fashioned was okay- a tad sweet up front and bitter on the end. I was happy with it but it is on the sweeter side.Overall I did enjoy Dutch Bar. 2 small plates and 2 drinks were about $50 and they do add a hospitality service fee, but such is the current climate when dining out.I will also mention there was a strong smoky cooking smell in the place. However, I am eager to visit again and try out a few other items!“
“I've been to AceBridge a couple of times. The first time, my group of 4 did the simple tasting. The owner happened to be there so he did the tasting and we ended up getting so much more. Not only did he end up letting us sample more than expected, he also gave us a great lesson on his company and the evolution of wine in MN.Last weekend, I was back with a group of 11. This time we were there for the limo tour (listed on their website). I highly recommend. We all had such a good time. It was completely worth the cost when we split it up evenly per person.“

“First time - and will be back! 5 of us ate and sharing is encouraged with the delicious, creative “foodie” options. Service was outstanding and excellent acoustics for conversation but still with an ambient chatter of other diners. Very good experience here.“

“Although it’s a little tucked away in deluxe plaza, Gray Fox a nice café with good atmosphere for reading or working. I got a black coffee with a cake donut (total $6.65; $3.00 12oz coffee + $2.65 cake donut + $1.00 tax) and both were very good! The coffee was actually better and cheaper than most cafés in Minneapolis. It does have a very open environment, but I think it adds a unique atmosphere. Definitely would recommend for a quick stop before starting your day!“

“I ordered a classic 6oz steak with shrimp. Asked for my steak to be medium well, next time I'll ask for it to be medium because it ended up a tougher and dryer than I wanted. But, our waiter was wonderful, attentive, and extremely helpful.“

“Good burgers, good appetizers. A very solid experience. I would recommend sitting at the bar, the bartenders are always awesome and give great service. The burgers have a good variety that you can't find other places so it's fun to try different things too. The atmosphere is relaxed without being divey. Would recommend.“

“The bar tender was very attentive and kind. They had pull tabs, good food that was prepared quickly, large portions and averaged around $15/plate. Had beer and booze. Heck the former mayer of New Brighton, I believe was the city she was Mayer of, was there having a beer. Was a pretty good, oh, I even got the phone number of a nice gal, who initially thought my mother was my date. Can't make this stuff up!! Happy 2024!!“

“Great happy hour starting at 3 pm! Gorgeous interior in the historic Rand Tower!Delicious drinks, both nonalcoholic and (strong) alcoholic drinks. I had the Nymphea, yum! ?The oysters were good! Really good French fries too!! The beef tartar was ok, it’s worth trying.Overall this is a great place that more people should go to!Parking: This is downtown Minneapolis, so there are pay parking ramps all around and pay street parking spots.Kid-friendliness: I don’t know I’d bring my kids here, it’s more of an adult cocktail lounge.“
“Great service and like the new take on the place but who tf wrote this drink menu? Vodka in a mojito? Ginger ale in an old fashion? Assuming new ownership but can you have someone who knows standard recipes write your recipes, even with being "crafted" like tossing blueberries in a mojito without changing the foundational recipe which never includes vodka, please? Christ. At these prices you'd think the foundations you add on would at least be accurate. Also, $12 for drinks that have well liquor is pretty shameful as well, just make them all the $13 drinks with call liquor. Smfh. Great service, though“

“Food is great. Service is outstanding. Don't bother to ever try ordering online. For months their website has refused to recognize any credit or bank card we try to use (commonplace cards, Visa etc). I've passed this feedback to them multiple times but correcting the website seems to be not a priority for months on end. You're much better off calling the local restaurant and talk to one of the delightful and helpful workers. They will take care of you better than the corporate run crappy online option.“

“Great food and service, but the highlight of my visit was the best margarita I've ever tasted. I ordered "just a regular margarita" with house tequila and no exotic additions. Perfect balance of flavors; not too sweet or tart; strong enough to still taste good after the ice melted. I thought it was pricey, but it was so good that I could almost consider it two drinks.“

“First time here and a great experience! Super cool place, awesome decor and environment. Overall felt very upscale but not pretentious, service was fantastic by all. Everyone was very courteous and polite, very attentive. Drink and food times were quite quick.Food was delicious, had Chicken and Avocado Eggrolls for an appetizer, steak and walleye entrees then a cookies and cream cake for dessert. Steaks were cooked just right, meal additions were handled accurately, everything was delicious, plus portion sizes did not lack, we all happily struggled to finish our plates. They surprised our daughter with a candle for fun which she was sooo excited about.“

“Tried a new wine bar in the "burbs" Was surprised how busy it was at 8.00pm on a Saturday night- live music was playing and there were only a couple seats left at the bar so we snagged those and were greeted by one of the owners who was super friendly. The service was very good even though it only looked like 3 people were working - they were very busy but did not show it They have an extensive wine list which is nice and decent price range from $12 upwards. The Rosè I had was pretty good and the Cab Sauv my date had was good too! The music was pretty loud - only on weekends I think , but when the crowds dispersed it felt more like an intimate wine bar- so I imagine during the week this would be a great place to meet up with friends and family. Did not get to try any food as we had just come from dinner but they did have some amazing smelling bread boards I would be willing to try! The owners are a husband and wife team who are very down to earth and like they get to know everyone who visits A cute place in Shoreview- when in the area I will stop by“
