She is so kind and accommodating, and went the extra mile with Wendy (the owner, another angel!) and other staff members to pack our bundtinis into 160 2-cupcake boxes so we could distribute them as “his and her favorite flavor” favors on the way out at the end of the night. The Nothing Bundt Cakes staff took such care to ensure that the bundtinis were placed properly and did not get smushed in transit and worked with our Day of Coordinator directly to pick them up the day of our wedding. The “his and her” bundtini boxes were a huge hit with our guests!“

“We went to the cities to see Evanescence on the 20th of September and had layover time for the concert to start so my husband and I walked from the venue to Little Brazil. Unfortunately, we got absolutely drenched walking back to the show. Not only that, but we forgot our precious signed posters from the band at our table . The staff saved our posters and kept them safe until we made it back to get them the next day which we truly appreciated. They would have been destroyed by the weather otherwise. “Wonderful spot close to Mississippi Market in St. Paul. There is a beautiful small park (when weather permits) to sit outside. The building itself is old and very Swedish even though the history of Swede Hollow is long-past, lots of "hygge" inside (yes I know it's Danish but they did own the country, kinda). A few tables downstairs, one cozy one on the mezzanine, 6-7 upstairs and a neat "conference room" with a very comfy cozy reading armchair. Coffee really good (Americano, Cubano), great selection, had a studenty-feel, but we are close to MSU. The food looked very good. One of my new favourite "Third Places"“

“Visited dozens times last 25 years. Satisfactory everything. It's really amazing they have expanded their menu, massive redo of the interior, grown the staff but not skipped a beat. Their standards and dish quality remain remarkably consistent year after year.

Over the years clientele has expanded from strongly Asian to mainly caucasian not just from nearby communities but also cross town and cross city. A measure of their success adapting their menus to local tastes all the while maintaining their emphasis on Vietnamese tradition.

We ordered viet hot coffee (cold servings more popular nowadays) and was great tasting as usual, not with traditional metal micro brew but American expresso style, another clue to how they maintained traditional flavors but modernizedand sped up their serving.

Our entre was grilled pork and rice bowl with fried egg roll, a tiny cup of serving sauce and heaping chopped vegs carrot, lettuce and cucumber. All fresh tasting, easy to eat with knife and fork or chopsticks. Believe the bowl size has increased a bit recently. This serving is genuinely tasty, richly flavored as though grilled by hand over charcoal but clearly prepared in an efficient modern style, fat and bones trimmed away so every bite is smooth and satisfying.
