“The staff are friendly. Their banh mi are delicious! The decor is clean, bright and inviting. Their croissants are yummy but the filling was very minimal in terms of croissant to filling ratio. In my opinion, their fries are amazing!! Taste, texture, crispiness, just everything about it. I'd say they are the best fries I've ever had - some days they're lacking a little on the salt, but that's an easy fix. “My fiancee is from a Mexican family and so we go to a lot of bakeries like this in the Twin Cities and in Milwaukee (where her family is from). This is hands-down the best one I've been to in terms of selection, value and service.I've tried about 6 different sweet breaks and all are delicious although my favorite are the molasses ones shaped like a pig. Fiancee also likes the bolillo which are basically the Mexican sandwich bread. They are a big bigger and softer than a french bread and are delicious. They have plain ones and also ones that are in the cases and are stuffed with cream cheese and jalapenos. Delicious! Finally, we only go here for birthday cakes anymore as the tres leches are the best I've ever had. On all of these items, the price is what stands out. If you went to a high-end grocery store and got a bunch of sweet breads, regular bread and a full, massive tres leches cake, you'd be in for way over $100. Here, you're way under $100. It's nice to come to a place and feel like they're not trying to rip you off and that's how I feel here. Finally, a shout out to the workers here. Always the same folks and always super friendly and helpful. You're fine to come if you don't speak Spanish as well, so don't be shy!“

“We love coming here for a sweet treat. It's a simple cookie bakery. They have self-serve tablets to order or you can order with a staff. It's small, and depending when you go there may be a group inside waiting for their cookies. The cookies are good and switch out every week. We love their classic chocolate chip cookies! Soft in the inside and a slight crunch to the outside. Their lemon was good--surprised us actually. Their carrot cookie is like a small cake. I liked how I can taste the spices in it and the cream cheese frosting was perfect.“

When I was a kid we got it from the Dixie cream bakery, it doesn't exist anymore. Everything I've ever gotten there is good. “I'm a sucker for a good danish and by looks alone, this one passed the test. There is a wonderful crunch from the puff pastry followed by a perfect balance between the blueberries and cream cheese. Everything stands out in its own way which makes this an excellent danish! I also got a loaf of their sourdough to share with others. This was absolutely fantastic too! Their walk up to-go style of ordering is super convenient especially when everything is on display in front of a glass window. I don't think you could go wrong with whatever you end up buying here, and I wish I could've tried one of everything!“

The quiche portions seem unusually large, but they are $12+ and come with a small side of greens (the dill dressing is definitely the highlight). The squash soup seemed unusually thick, more applesauce-like than soup-like, but the taste was delightful. Kitchen seems slow: when we visited, a patron who was leaving as we arrived commented that the food takes forever to arrive but that it was worth it; we can definitely confirm that.“

“First, the customer service is phenomenal. I called in 15 minutes before close and the lady on the phone was kind of enough to help me decide what chocolates would suit my tastes. She packed a box of twelve truffles for me, all personalized to my preferences, and they were phenomenal. The truffles were smooth, creamy, and had a wonderful snap. All the flavors were unique and wonderful. I'd highly recommend if you're a chocolate lover. I will update the review once I get another box for myself, which is soon.“
