“This is the best Perkins I have eaten at in Minnesota or Wisconsin! They do not take reservations, but I came a bit early on a Saturday late morning to tell them we would be a party of 11 — a customary sendoff brunch with visiting mother-and sisters-in-law. (We live in a different NW suburb, but this locale worked best for everyone in our family.). From the Assistant Manager, to hostess CiCi, to our server, Margaret (and beyond) they were all so gracious and accommodating! Even though my request upended their traffic flow and server sections, everyone made us feel so welcome! The food was great and service outstanding! It was a wonderful memory for this four-generation clan! We will be back to this location for sure!“

“I ordered online and did pick up for 2 dozen donuts. It was easy and the worker was nice enough to separate the donuts for me as I needed it in two boxes. The donuts were delicious and I brought them for my last day of work! They easily were gone as they make them fresh and delicious! Would come back again!“

“Rebecca's is our favorite bakery in Minneapolis. The owner and his wife are friendly and welcoming and their cream puffs, fruit tarts, cakes, turn overs and scones are delicious. They're not overly sweet so you don't feel sick after you eat them. We also buy his coffee he imports the organic beans from Ethiopia and roasts them in house. We LOVE Rebecca's and are so glad they are our neighbors!“

“75yrs of business within the same family while using the original recipes. Now that’s the way to do it! We went later in the day and were told they were out of a lot but what they had looked as full as the chain bakeries. It was so hard to decide but the owner was so helpful in answering our questions. We left with 8 bakery items and a loaf of homemade bread. I couldn’t wait to try the blueberry cream cheese donut (delightful flavorful explosion). This is my bakery from now on! Thank you for keeping things as they were and sharing your delicious recipes with the world. Outstanding! Delicious! Variety! And, they have Texas style donuts as big as your head for less than $10!“

“Amazing carrot cake cupcakes! No nuts or raisins (this place is fantastic for folks with a nut allergy!) I love that the cupcakes are the traditional size and not those super-sized ones. Snoopy bars are soooo good! So many wonderful things to try--I'll be back!“

“This is a neighborhood gem and is the place to come for rustic, whole grain and sourdough breads. Their other baked goods that I've tried including this curry roll, cheddar biscuit, and scones are also really good. The only thing I had from here that was just OK to me was their chocolate croissant. Seating is pretty limited so I have only done take out.I like that their offerings are constantly rotating with the seasons. The owner and staff are super friendly and I'm really glad they are in Longfellow!“

“I stopped in a few weeks ago and got a peach muffin. It was DELICIOUS! It was made with real peaches and tasted like a real fruit muffin instead of something prepackaged, frozen and thawed, or just an overly sweet, cupcake like muffin. I thoroughly enjoyed it!I also got a major bonus because somebody called in and paid for cookies for the first 20 customers or something like that! So I got to try an AMAZING sugar cookie (I think that's what it was, it's been a little bit so I don't remember for sure). It was sweet, soft and a great surprise treat!The woman at the counter was very helpful and kind!Love the shop too. They have lots of neat foods/sauces/kits to bring home (see pictures for examples). “The staff are friendly. Their banh mi are delicious! The decor is clean, bright and inviting. Their croissants are yummy but the filling was very minimal in terms of croissant to filling ratio. In my opinion, their fries are amazing!! Taste, texture, crispiness, just everything about it. I'd say they are the best fries I've ever had - some days they're lacking a little on the salt, but that's an easy fix. Please, please don't ever change the brand/product or the way you prepare/make these fries!! Highly recommend this place, especially trying the fries, just don't go during lunch time. If you’ve always wanted to go to Germany, but haven’t, this is a little taste of Heaven to inspire you to visit. The service is 2nd to none, they are so friendly and welcoming, and the bread and pastries… oh my lord. SO GOOD. I have yet to find something I didn’t like. “This is such a cute coffee place! I ordered the Nate, and I like the twist of a waffle as the bun. Adds a nice little sweetness to the sandwich. I ordered a flight and it was fun to try the different flavors. The prices aren’t bad. I would recommend coming at a time that isn’t busy. There wasn’t any spots to sit at and at the time there were some people being inconsiderate and taking up more space than they should. I would just recommend putting up signs of being more considerate if it’s busy and being respectful of sharing a space.“

We went there without realizing there was no dine in, just take out. It was on a Friday morning, the demand was so high they were already running out of some items.“

They did an 8-inch double layered cake that was Sesame Street themed and a precious smash cake with an Elmo spoon in it! The cakes were the highlight of the party. “We love coming here for a sweet treat. It's a simple cookie bakery. They have self-serve tablets to order or you can order with a staff. It's small, and depending when you go there may be a group inside waiting for their cookies. The cookies are good and switch out every week. We love their classic chocolate chip cookies! Soft in the inside and a slight crunch to the outside. Their lemon was good--surprised us actually. Their carrot cookie is like a small cake. I liked how I can taste the spices in it and the cream cheese frosting was perfect.“

“okay so overall the food was delicious. i got the burrito and it was solid. no real complaints there. the yuca fries also delicious and not too greasy, perfectly crispy. the guac was so fresh and so were the salsas. my only complaint was the guava margarita. mind you i’ve been craving a guava margarita for MONTHS now so my hopes were high. but this one really missed the mark for me. it wasn’t guava-y enough and generally just tasted kinda watered down. (though you can note in my photo that i did drink all of it so it wasn’t unbearable—but truly who can say no to a margarita) it just needed something to take it up a notch.overall a great choice and they were super accommodating for our large group and the service was so speedy.“

My wife really liked her chilaquiles, but thought it could have used some eggs, more chicken (she had to search to find it) and maybe a few chips on the side so there could be more crunch. I had the mushroom cemitas sandwich and really enjoyed it. There was a good heat to the sandwich and it was very filling. I also had the spicy hot chocolate which was very rich and tasty.The service could have been a little better as we saw our order get finished and had to ask the server if we were supposed to pick it up ourselves after five minutes of waiting, and then he brought it to us.“

The quiche portions seem unusually large, but they are $12+ and come with a small side of greens (the dill dressing is definitely the highlight). Kitchen seems slow: when we visited, a patron who was leaving as we arrived commented that the food takes forever to arrive but that it was worth it; we can definitely confirm that.“
