“I've driven past B's on the Water many times for the past 20 years and have always wanted to stop. This year we were available to go to the "pre-ribfest" party on Friday night and I am sure glad that we did!! The staff is exceptional!!! The food was really good and the atmosphere was so quaint. We will be back again! Probably going to make plans to stay the weekend for Ribfest next yeat!“

“We were just passing through town, getting a little hungry, and we saw this place with a bunch of motorcycles out front. (We know what that means!) We went in, sat at the bar, got served by the owner (Greg, I think). I had chili, the wife had a philly steak sammich. Fantastic! We hung out for a while, watched a little football, and met some of the locals. Great food, fun people, nice place. We'll be back!“

“I would love to give Iron Tap all 5 stars but they have not had a proper entrance to the restaurant for years now? So with this issue they have you sitting close to the door and cold air is constantly flooding in and giving a chill in their dinning area. When I go out to eat I expect to be able to take off my winter coat to enjoy my food/experience. The quicker they resolve this issue it would be amazing.“

“We had a delicious meal - a salad with apples, chicken, bacon etc. Chicken was nicely cooked. Salad was beautifully plated and the ingredients were very well balanced. My husband had a steak sandwich and fries from the specials menus, which he said was also great. We "shared" a coffee creme brulee for dessert which was amazing.“

“Stopped on Friday evening 2 weeks ago. Was not initially on my radar, but well worth a couple of extra turns away from Main St. Really nice setting, kind and courteous service. On paper, I ordered a burger and vegetable plate. The actual food I was delivered was so much more...a wonderful surprise addition to my Friday evening trip.“

“This place is heart-warming. I had been wanting to check it out for some time as I pass through this area a lot. It is situated in a rural stretch of road in Maple Plain/Independence near the Luce Line walking trail, giving it an almost isolated and greater Minnesota country feel. That carries into the atmosphere of the place when you walk in. I agree with other reviews that it feels almost like a throwback to earlier simpler times. It may seem to some like a diner or a dive bar, but everyone there was relaxed and enjoying themselves. The menu is impressive. You would not expect so much variety. You can get basic all-American foods like burgers, or you can try pretty rare things like frog legs, or they also serve prime rib. The range is wide, which is surprising to consider how they are both capable and supplied to do that. Prices are quite reasonable, too. Meals go from as low as $8 up to $30.In short, we were not feeling too adventurous, so we simply had a Northwoods Burger, a Ceasar Salad, and shared a slice of warmed Pecan Pie. We would get it all again.A shout out to our waitress, Leslie, who was a sweetheart and did all the right things for us.If you're looking for a place to just unwind, have a couple of drinks, enjoy some comfort food and the company of others, then you need to pay a visit!“

“Sunday morning breakfast. Pancakes were huge. Probably 10 in (26 cm) across and 3/8 in (10 cm) thick with that butter cispy edge. Go in the breezeway to see if they're open. Almost drove away because I read the auto parts store's hours (they're closed on Sunday, but Edie Mae's isnt).Parking: Faded lines but decent sized lotWheelchair accessibility: All one level - no stairs. Saw one person in a wheelchair eating there. Two handicap parking spots closest to door.“
“My dog wanted me to write a review that she’s very dissatisfied with her pup cup experience—we go to the Buffalo Culver’s occasionally and their pup cups are a small vanilla custard scoop in a cup with a dog treat on top. She said the whipped cream was top notch, though.“

“A childhood core memory that just keeps getting better. From 1919 in the Frosty mug, the train cruising around the bar area, and the fish tanks, going to Dave's has always been one of my favorite things to do on a Friday or Saturday night.Coming back to town for Christmas, Dave's was a natural choice, and man, oh man, it was like I was a kid again. One of the few restaurants in the area I recommend to friends when I find out they're visiting my hometown.Dietary restrictions: Peanut- allergy friendly“

“Great place to grab a drink and play a game of darts, pool, or watch your watch your favorite sports team! They gave 3 dart boards and 2 pool tables. Drinks are well mixed and at a good price point! They also have Etabs and regular pull tabs. Along with a touch tunes sound system, they are happy to turn up the volume if you ask. It's a place that will show respect and kindness to anyone as long as they are respectful and kind.“
“Went to play Bingo tonight. Had a fun evening. Overall, opion is clean, family, friendly, friendly service and an over all entertaining place to eat and have a cocktail.Kid-friendliness: I would have no problem bringing my children or grandchildren.Wheelchair accessibility: Could have more handicap parking spots, but all parking is pretty accessible to everyone.“

“We have had so many great experiences at Clays…. We prefer some bartenders…. But just don’t go when Laina ( spell ) is bartending. She is so annoyed that non regular customers ask her for anything…. ? Luckily I made my husband go deal with her….“

“Amazing food in a cute town! We were visiting the area and stopped here for brunch and wow were we impressed. We love a good a Benedict and their Hollandaise was just the right combination of creamy and tart. I was also jealous of how perfectly they poached my eggs too. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. We’d come eat here again when we’re in this area.“

“If I could give this place, 11 out of five stars I would. I felt like royalty in this place. Not only was I immediately greeted and seated the second I walked in the door. I was given water within five seconds of sitting down, with a menu And a waiter who is ready to serve immediately. They checked to see if I wanted my appetizers first, checked to see if I wanted recommendations and checked to see if I had any questions about anything on the menu. When the food came out, the waiter also checked to make sure that the food was to our liking and that we enjoyed it. My friend gets full easy and wanted the rest of her food to go and the waiter said “I just want to make sure that the food was to your liking personally.” So, not only did the waiter check when it came out and we had already eaten halfway but he also checked as we left. This place had the absolute best service that I have ever received at any restaurant. I have been to hundreds of restaurants across the U.S and nothing beat the service here or even came close. That’s just the service, the food, mouthwatering. The lemonade I got was the best lemonade I’ve had, handcrafted, of course. the oysters were very fresh and a delicacy. If you told me that they harvested those oysters out of the lake they’re next to I would’ve believed you. The flatbread was cooked to perfection, and every bite was the feeling of the sun on your face in the middle of a summer day. It was phenomenal, no burnt or overcooked edges. This place was affordable, considering how fancy it was and how great the food was. The oysters were $22 for a half dozen. The flatbread was large enough for two people and was $17. 100% will be coming back. I think it’ll honestly be my new place with my husband. I just went here 3/26 and I’m planning on going on 3/28.Update: We came today and amazing service once again!!!! My husband and I are hooked!! Thanks Lola Lakehouse for setting a new standard! We had Joyce, and she was attentive and amazing. The manager even stopped in to check on us and our service as well as other tables!“

“We went here for the steak and all you can eat lobster. Party of 4, seated in the lakeside room, great view, nice atmosphere. Outside temp was in the 20's, room was cool at first luckily seated by fireplace. Warmed up once someone noticed an open window and closed it. Bathrooms were clean but also cold.Food was good, medium steaks came out perfect, medium well and well done were about the same, a little dry for the medium well.First batch of lobster was a little over done but still good. We each also had one that was slightly underdone. The rest were perfect. Green beans and buns were very good. Mashed potatoes were also good.“
