The ambience of the restaurant was eclectic and clean. I chose to sit inside and eat while looking out the very clean windows. Staff was friendly and the food was piping hot! So hot I picked up a french fry and quickly had to put it down because it was hot but that’s a good thing! It was a joy to hear kitchen staff cutting items to make orders. “Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop was located right next to my eye doctor, so my Mom and I decided to have lunch here. The staff were friendly and the owner was front and center, in front of the register. I chose the BLT and my Mom got the Homemade Turkey. I liked my BLT and my Mom enjoyed her Homemade Turkey, but she noted that the turkey was a bit too dry for her tasting. The bread was super good but almost a bit too filling since it’s a soft white bread. We would come back though because it was somewhat affordable and very clean inside.“

“Great spot! I wanted Mom’s Chicken Salad sandwich but it was already sold out by the time I arrived around 12:30. Tells you it’s just that good!

I got a classic 8 inch turkey sub. The bread was perfectly toasted, warm and still soft. The side of potato salad may be $3.99 but it can feed 3! It was perfectly cold and tasty. It’s a mustardy tangy potato salad and it was great.

I think the value and the atmosphere and that St Louis can have these kinds of local sandwich shops is great!“

“They have the best Cancun Bacon Cheese Fries in the stl area! No other deli in town have fries that can touch these. There sandwich put together well and blended just right for the burst of flavors. Might not have a ton of sandwich options but there selection they have are all on point! Easily in my top 5 delis in the stl area“

“We love their loaded sub! I raved about it so much that my husband decided to try it, which is completely out of the norm. Now, we travel from about 20 miles away just for these great sandwiches! I should tell you I'm not a huge sandwich fan, so this says a lot. The bagels are fantastic also, and I am a very particular about needing chewy bagels. The carrot cake cheesecake was also excellent, but it truly is not cheesecake. it is simply carrot cake but it's very good!“

First of let's talk about the meat, most places give you a relatively small portion of the lamb/beef mixture, not here, they load it up, you know, the way it should be. And the tzatziki is amazing, it has a slight sweetness to it that is just perfect. Add on to that the rewards card they give you for a free gyro after purchasing 9, no brainer!! I gladly drive 10 miles past numerous other gyro stops when I want a delicious work of art.“

“I was lucky enough to have Destiny make my sandwich today(Turkey Bacon Ranch). I did not realize how lucky I was until I started eating. Outside of my son being born, eating that sandwich was probably the ten best minutes of my life! “The server was down for most of the St.Louis locations and the pickup order I thought I had placed using a gift card didn't go through, so it wasn't ready when I got there. They tried to work with me and Amanda patiently tried to get it all entered for me, but it wouldn't go through correctly. The manager made it right by taking care of the bill and letting me know that they want my business and knew I had been waiting and had ordered it through the app. Amanda later came back to my table to check on me. I will definitely keep coming back and it's close to home, they are very nice, and the food is good. I was at the Des Peres location.“

“They don’t always get my order right and it’s usually only missing 1 ingredient. I wish I could take off only 1/4 star because it’s not a huge deal, but that can be a hit or miss for people and everyone makes mistakes. Since I can’t it’s staying at a 5. This place particularly makes a great sandwich. I’m in a different area and they make the sandwiches super sloppy, kudos to the presentation of the sandwiches and freshness.“

“The food and service were just fine when I went for the first time. The meatball marinara sub I opted for was just filling enough, AND tasted great topped with tomato, lettuce, provolone cheese, onions, green peppers, banana peppers, and Southwest chipotle sauce on Italian herb and cheese bread, slightly toasted. The cheese was just melted enough to give it a real pizza like texture and taste. Another favorite submarine sandwich I really like here is the Spicy Italian. Either way, they're always topped with plenty of meat and cheese! The chocolate chip and white macadamia nut cookies are really tasty. A foot long sub combo is more than enough for me to eat in one meal so I save half my sandwich for a snack later in the day. And the employees always seem friendly and do a great job making my sandwiches.

“On 6-2-26 around 11:00 am I had a great experience at the Subway on Hampton Avenue. The two ladies who helped me were friendly, welcoming, and greeted me as soon as I walked in. Their positive attitude made the visit even better. I ordered a tuna sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious—the bomb! Everything was fresh, made just right, and tasted great. Now I have to getbmy food delivered but I always loved their baked potatoes the most as they are hard-to-find find and the chicken salad on a croissant is another fave but I love the nuts and cranberries.
