I've heard many Hispanic restaurants are having trouble lately w. customers (incl legal residents) afraid to come out, so this is a good time to support them. But it's a great space and a fun vibe.“

We were never offered rolls, and I literally had to chase down a staff member just to get two. “Love gulf shores! Went tonight to the St. Peter’s location and had a yummy dinner. The host was a young man and did a great job and our waitress was lovely and on top of it! Two elderly women came in a the younger of the two was extremely rude and entitled to the host (the young man). Rudely demanding a different table each time he tried to seat them. I just wanted to point out how well he handled it and that he stayed professional and kept a smile on his face the whole time. He deserves kudos. I told her on the way out to tone down her entitlement and not to be so rude to staff and she spiraled. Not shocking. I’m not a fan of treating those in the service industry rudely. Again he handled it very well. Good job to him!“

“I've lived in St. Louis for a little over 20 years and I've heard about the Capital Grill but never visited before. I decided for my birthday this year, we'd try it. I even offered to split the cost with my wife since I had heard it was expensive. Well, it was expensive, but sometimes you absolutely get what you pay for - I was blown away. We started with a giant piece of bacon as an appetizer (Nueske's Cherrywood Smoked Bacon with Korean BBQ). It was about 1/2 in thick cut into bite sized chunks and it was delicious! We moved on to soup, my wife had the french onion soup with was covered with a thick layer of cheese, I had the lobster bisque, and my daughter had the butternut squash bisque - all three were good. The lobster in my bisque was tender and flavorful. I had the 14oz KC strip, my daughter had the 10oz filet, and my wife had the roasted chicken breast. My daughter's filet was easily 12oz and it was cooked perfectly, my KC strip was cooked perfectly and very flavorful, and my wife's chicken was huge (and delicious since I ate her leftovers the next day for lunch). We ordered creamed spinach and parmesan truffle fries for the table. The sides were good but not as good as the other items. Next time (and we will be back) we will probably go with mashed potatoes and sauteed spinach. We split the cream brulee and the flourless chocolate espresso cake for desert and because it was my birthday they brought me a sample of the cheesecake and coconut cream pie on a plate with Happy Birthday written out in icing. I'll definitely get the cream brulee again, it was perfect and my wife and daughter loved the cake. Sometimes you just gotta splurge and when you get that urge - try the Capital Grill, you won't regret it. (And by the way, my wife ended up picking up the check - so maybe it was that expensive.)“

“I got lucky and nabbed a last minute reservation for my birthday. This is truly my favorite restaurant! The food as always was exceptional. The only thing that was lacking was our waitress seemed a little put off being there. She was timely and attentive, but really not very friendly. This has not been the case on any other visit to your restaurant.“

“This is where I always meet my grandson for lunch. We love the walleye platter. The breading is very light, and the portion is generous, allowing you to eat every bit of it. The sides are delicious, too. We love the atmosphere, service, prices, and portions. \nI've taken several friends there for lunch, and they are happy to meet me there again anytime. My grandson is an accomplished fisherman, and that makes our experience all the more enjoyable. We love the fish offerings, but the menu is extensive. We highly recommend and enjoy Yellowstone Cafe.“

The staff at this restaurant went over and above for us, especially Michelle and one other server, I am sorry that I couldn’t see his name tag and I didn’t want to be rude. “Fast service and delicious. I’m from New Orleans and I just relocated here but I was impressed. I normally only want the crab but EVERYTHING was amazing and the potatoes were seasoned through and through. It wasn’t salty at all and not overdone with the butter. The shrimps were cooked perfectly, not rubbery and the sausage was good. I don’t like spicy foods so I tried the honey garlic butter. I absolutely loved it and was completely satisfied. The prices weren’t bad either. It’s a lot of food.“

“Lu Lu still my favorite Chinese restaurant when I need to treat my friends for authentic traditional Chinese dinner. We were there on 09-22 Sunday evening, three of us ordered beef chow fun, sweet and sour sole fish, cashew chicken, black pepper beef hot plate. The chef cooked them together and server brought them out at the same time. Lady who served us was very friendly, she even offered to pack the leftover for us so my friends and I could engaged in conversation end of the meal. We love the food, the service and the atmosphere. “I was a bit skeptical about making a purchase because their parking lot is always empty. But I said let's chance it and upon placing order and waiting the customers started to arrive. It seems as though everyone placed their order and left, so that would explain the empty parking lot. Conversated with someone I knew from the local roller skating rink and order was completed in a timely manner, say 20 minutes. I ordered the catfish & wing platter, which was surprisingly tasteful, I liked the wings the best, (seasoned well) while the catfish seemed more like tilapia but overall the meal was satisfying and came with bread, fries, pickles and onions. Overall I believe that I will make a return visit just to try out different menu items because it's close to home. I also liked the fact that it was clean and roomy.“
