“Turkey ribs were awesome. First time having them, great with sauce or without. Smoke was excellent. Potato salad was like my grandmas. I didn’t get the turkey tips because they were out, I assume that means those are good too. This is a humble smokehouse with good people. Highly recommend.“

“This was my first time in St Louis and I had to get some BBQ. Heavy Smoke ended up being my first stop. They set the bar high. The ribs were fall off the bone good. Brisket, pulled pork, and beans were amazing as well. Their spicy blueberry and pineapple sauces were a special treat. But the apple bread pudding…OMG. It should come with a warning label. It was smack your momma good. Definitely a must visit!“
“Went on the recommendation of a coworker. I'm glad I did. The food was delicious.When I walked in the place smelled fantastic. I believe it is a husband & wife operation. Very friendly and helpful. This is one of those places that cook only so much that when it's gone it's gone and you'll have to try again another day. I ordered a full slab of ribs. We were able to make 2 meals out of the meat. I also ordered 3 sides. The Mac & cheese (with smoked with bacon ?), Coleslaw, and green beans also with the smoked bacon ? ?. All of it was delicious. It is a nice little place to eat. We did carry out. They sever coke products. I paid $35.00 for the full slab and 3 sides. When I go back, and I definitely will, I will be ordering the brisket. Spoke to a woman who said that was all she ever order. It looked good. My coworker said the porksteaks are real good and the tips are to die for. My coworker is a regular at Big Woody's to the point they recognize her voice on the phone.. They are located in a little strip mall across from a walgrens.Enjoy!“

“This is one of my go-to spots after a bike ride. Bbq and beer is a great reward for the hard work! Went yesterday and it was all decked out for st. Patrick's day plus had a special menu and was all staffed up. I got the corned beef special. Not normally something I'd go for but it was really good! “My wife grabbed me a pork steak sandwich and fries and it was great. I'm picky ab pork steaks and this place really made an impression and as close to 141 as it is makes it even more of a desirable stop and go. Would recommend and repeat.“
“If you like t-ravs- these are the best in town!.We have never had a sandwich we didn't love and even the meat packed pizza is yummy! George is a fantastic and fun bar tender, only to be outdown by his charming bride! The salad selection is a bit lacking, but the Mayfair dressing is delicious! It's a regular favorite!“
“I love the nice atmosphere of Longhorn Steakhouse. It is very comfortable inside and the decor is Western. Our server was very polite, courteous, and our order came quickly. We had the steak and shrimp dinner with whatever two sides you like. The spring salad were good with cucumber and tomato. Plus the warm loaf of bread that is served with butter is delicious. Our dinner was good but a little on salty side, but that didn't stop us from enjoying it.“
“My cousin was in from Utah. She had 2 things she wanted to do.. botanical garden and Pappy's. Raining all day at botanical gardens....(still beautiful) got to Pappy's 10 min before close...they were amazing... food was amazing, service was amazing.. love them“
“Today my husband retired after more than 50 years working. He was given a gift card to Bandanas so we went out for lunch to celebrate. We have always loved Bandanas and still do, but we had an unfortunate experience with the gift card. Their system for processing gift cards was not working, and we had to pay the bill ourselves. It could have been handled better -- the manager could have compensated us and ran the gift card when the system came back up. The food and service was great, but it left a bit of a downer on our celebration. They gave us back our gift card and said we could use it later, but we will not be anxious to return to Bandanas anytime soon.“
“Just stopped in to buy the freedom 13 bottle. Seemed like a nice place any questions I had got answered instantly and let me go through the bottles to find the number that I wanted.Drove from Kansas City to St Peter Missouri just to buy the bottle.Someday I'll stop back in and have a few drinks and talk with the people in there hopefully.“

“The worse service ever!!!! Waitress was totally horrible… our waitress disappeared for about 20 mins…no refills on drinks,food was cold and wrong. Then have way through our meals we finally got our appetizer… wtf get it together. Sad, cause we use to love this place but this will be our 3rd time being disappointed with the service.“

“Consistency is key! You always know what you are going to get at Bandanna's and it's consistently good. Tonight they had a sign up that said they were out of chicken, turkey, and brisket but that's OK I wanted those ribs! I really wanted the combo of ribs and chicken thighs but, oh well. Their green beans clearly come from a can but they had some kind of a spice and some onions so they are delicious and their coleslaw is always creamy and iced cold, which I appreciate. It took less than 10 minutes from the time I ordered until the time they brought my to-go bag and I was on my way. Fast and friendly service. Clean restaurant with a huge patio.“
“Stopped in for lunch today and enjoyed the sun on the patio. We placed an order for hushpuppies when we place our drink order. After a significant amount of time passed, a manager dropped by the table to let us know that there was some difficulty in the kitchen and offered to bring us another appetizer while things were being sorted out with the hush puppies. We ordered the Trashed Ribs with the spicy sauce which were delivered to the table moments later and were followed not long later by the hush puppies. The Trashed Ribs were excellent which a good level of heat. Our son had the burger which had terrific chargrilled flavor. My spouse and I split a platter with ribs, pulled pork, burnt ends, Mac and cheese and creamed corn. Everything was delicious. Many thanks to the staff for the excellent service and going the extra mile to ensure we were happy customers when they were facing some challenges.“
“Great food, Delicious drinks. Ordered pulled pork nachos - the combo of salty pork, sweet BBQ sauce and spicy jalapenos was fantastic - and Mac and cheese bites - so gooey and cheesy. Had the Pigs Tail (loved the bacon) and bourbon mash cocktails - both were really good.“
“The restaurant has a fun atmosphere and I would definitely come back when it's warmer out. The portions are great. Side salad came out ahead of entree which was made perfectly with delicious ranch.The ribs were fall off the bone, bbq sauce was flavorful and sweet, brisket was moist, and pork was also tasty. Cons were the onion rings were not pat down before fried, so there was water dripping out when taking a bite, which also caused them to be soggy instead of crispy. The flavor on the breading was good though. I wouldn't recommend the chicken as mine lacked flavor and was extremely dry.“

“You’ll notice I don’t give 5 star reviews out too often, it puts too many places on a level field. But this meal was nearly perfect and certainly worth making a healthy detour to get to. Turkey was moist and beautiful. Brisket was just fatty enough. Ribs and pork were very nicely done as well. Good sauces, good visit, go!“

I don't know how they stayed in a ball shape. But don't let them cool off, or they lose their smoothness. Choose Regular Ranch as a dipping sauce, not Cajun Ranch.Wife had a Critter meal and potato. The chicken strips were crispy and very tender. It was Lacking some seasoning, in my opinion, but overall very decent chicken. Nice dipping sauces, though.I had the ribeye and ribs combo. Ribs were bananas. I usually object to fall off the bone ribs, but these had char. They were moist and had amazing flavor.We also had a garden salad and baked potato. Both were great. Dessert was a strawberry cheesecake.Great food!Had an issue, and Lily, and Manager helped resolve it. We are grateful for hard-working waitstaff, but even the best restaurants will have an issue. “Outstanding Q here, but BE FOREWARNED: GET HERE AS EARLY AS YOU CAN AND DEFINITELY BEFORE 6PM - THEY RUN OUT OF MEAT QUICK!! Specifically ribs and brisket, and good luck finding rib tips and burnt ends. Other than that flaw, this place is great. The cuisine is uniformity high quality (especially the sides), all varieties of their BBQ sauces are tasty, the variety is excellent, the portions are generous, service is friendly, and everything is reasonably priced. The specials are always imaginatively presented and always worth trying. Avoid the desserts, though ?.“
