“Absolutely wonderful dining experience! The restaurant was clean and bright, and the staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. The Ruben sandwich (marinated jackfruit, sauerkraut, vegan cheese and dressing on toasted bread) was delicious. The Baja tacos (marinated heart of palm with an amazing slaw and the best guacamole I've ever had) were probably the best tacos I've ever eaten! I'm thrilled that they also have a huge GLUTEN FREE selection, including breads and all items clearly marked GF (if they are) and a dedicated GF menu. I will be eating here regularly! “Great place to gather or to simply come by yourself!! I was on a business trip and I was solo, but I sat at the bar and received fantastic service by Cariann (one of the bartenders) and she was nice to talk to as well. She had great recommendations and made the best experience for me by suggesting the pick 2. I was stuck between the lamb rack of ribs and the 1 huge prime rib (beef rib) but with the pick 2 you can get both, just that the lamb rack was a half rack. Both portions of meat ? was more substantial than one would think and I couldn't believe the flavor explosion in my mouth once I tasted everything!!I also had the potato salad and the baked beans which were awesome! 5 out of 5 stars! Plus, the atmosphere was so chill I had great conversations with anyone who came up to the bar. Not to forget to mention, the drinks and beer selection were great! I had one of the Casual Animal Breweries, IPA. Yummm!!Highly recommend and when I'm back and I hope to see Cariann and catch up with her. I will bring my friends and family for a great dinner! ???????”

“Came here with a friend with little to no real expectations. We were simply looking for a new spot to chill while we catch up on "girl-talk" And Baaaaby - Wow! Hear me when I say EVERYTHING from the greeting, atmosphere, service, hospitality, FOOD and management on point!!My friend's a vegetarian so she ordered a veggie burger but wasn't a fan of the artichoke base pattie. Our waitress saw that she was only eating the fries and offered to prepare a whole new burger, substitute the pattie and add a few other fresh veggies and instantly my friend was won over.?Everything about my dish (bibimbap) was super flavorful and amazingly good!!I have yet to stop talking about my experience here I give a true 10/10Vegetarian options: Not a huge vegetarian option but the option available is delicious!”

“Just happened to see this place while I was driving by and the store next door was playing some Blind Faith. How could I not stop? The guy there said they were going to change my life and I don't know if I can't get another deli sub anywhere in the North again. It has an old school East Coast feel and the sandys to match. I'm told everything here is good and now I'm going to have to find out. Will be back and would recommend. Shop Local! Oh, I would have posted a pic but it didn't last long enough. “I love this place so much. Cheap drinks, great performers, low key atmosphere. Cash only bar but they have an atmosphere. Be sure to watch their calendar for shows and get tickets in advance as some shows sell out early!”

“A typical, quick, breakfast place with the usual selection of breakfast fare except no hashbrowns offered.Service was excellent - staff asked if I was new to the area as "it's usually a local spot".Wheelchair accessibility: Normal sized doorways, however not sure if automatic doors openers were present.”

“I come here frequently after getting groceries, one lady remembers me now and knows exactly what I order. I tried something new and it was delicious, I went to reorder it today and I accidentally ordered a tea instead of a latte. I did not like the tea and they made me a new drink even though it was my fault. I love this little shop! The Brown Sugar Boba Latte is my favorite. It is a small shop in downtown, so there arent a lot of places to park, which is to be expected. Good thing I walk everywhere. :)”

“Came here for 2023/2024 Super Bowl parade and this place was awesome. It was my first time here, the people were amazing, the staff was hustling, the bathrooms were clean! Bring your friends, it’s a party!”

“Great dining experience! We sat at the chef’s counter and it was so cool to sit in front of the fire and watch all the food being made. The waitress was friendly and professional and made some great recommendations. She recommended 5-6 plates for the two of us. I highly recommend starting with the Clara Bow rolls. They are as good as everyone says they are. The croquettes and the bone marrow were also two of our favorites, but every dish was amazing and well presented. Overall, we may have found a new favorite restaurant in KC. Can’t wait to go back. Be sure to makes reservations as the place was quite busy. Also, check out the hotel bar if you have some time before or after.Update: We’ve been back several times now. You can’t go wrong here. Everything is amazing! Highly recommend!”

“We were in town for the NCAA wrestling tournament. We had a reservation and were seated within a half hour (which was amazing considering the sheer volume of people in this town). Our server was knowledgeable and recommended a ton of great dishes. We really enjoyed the itchy sea bass, spicy charred edemame, and the thriller roll. The sea bass and roll were so good, we actually ordered a second! Also try the China Doll cocktail!! Yum ?”

“A surprised diamond in the urban core of the city!!!! The atmosphere was clean, crisp, and upscale. The service was pleasant, attentive, and informative. The food specials were intriguing and danced on the palette like a ballerina! The halibut was perfect!!! I was expecting more of a showstopper from the lobster rolls although it had great flavors the garlic bread did not do it justice! The drinks and appetizers took the show! This is definitely a come again spot!!! And YES!!!! I didn’t mind saying Bloody Mary once, twice, and even three times!!!!!!”

“THE BIG CHEESE!- Not the smash burger version. This was one of the best burgers I’ve had in KC recently. They have absolutely nailed the ratios. Specific descriptions: Ratios on this burger were excellent- the burger to bun size; width, height, and thickness, was perfect for a balanced bite. The type of bun they are using is soft, has a bit of texture on the outside, but also has enough spring to it that it does not get mushy or fall apart midway through the burger, or at all really. In fact, the structural integrity of the burger was better than any I’ve had lately- judging from first bite to last. The burger patty itself had a great sear on the outside, they really nailed the texture on this too. It’s got the sear slight crunch on the outside and then juicy on the inside. It was not at all greasy. The meat had great flavor and was not over salted- it was not bland either- they got the seasoning ratio right as well. I was skeptical about the arugula being too bitter for this burger. I was also skeptical about two slices of cheese being too much. I was wrong on both. The arugula is tossed with something that gives it just the tiniest bit of acid, this brightens it just enough to balance the richness of it. The American cheese they use is sliced thin, so using two slices is again just the right amount of cheese. The sauce they use on it complement the entire arrangement. Usually I will add sauce on anything. But not this burger. My dining partner mentioned they forgot to ask to leave the tomato off. Glad we didn’t. It was perfect in the bite mix. From the first bite to the last this was just an incredible burger eating experience. Their kitchen has absolutely got making a killer burger dialed in! The staff were very attentive and friendly. Speaking of adding sauces to things. The Brussels were good, but surprisingly I felt like the sauce on them was too much and made the Brussels soggy. The sauce is delicious, but a little of it goes a long way. Next time I will see if they are willing to put the sauce on the side and dip them instead. I also like that they have the small beer pours so I can try some of the local/ seasonal beers too. We will be back. Thank you!!!”

“This place has the best steak tartare and filet mignon that I’ve ever had. The filet was so tender and juicy… simply the best. My family and I go every Christmas and it’s one of my favorite traditions because this place is so good!Kid-friendliness: My family and I go with everyone above 11 years old. That means that occasionally there may be a temper tantrum with the little ones but the staff always does their best to manage possible pickiness and short tempers.”

“First time trying this place with my fiancé! We ordered QuesaBirrias, Street tacos (carne asada, chorizo, and been tongue), and for dessert we got Mini sopapillas with side of vanilla ice cream. Everything was SO delicious and flavorful! Had to order more food because it was SO GOOD! Service and atmosphere was so friendly and kind. Staff was super nice and food was amazing. Our new favorite spot in North KC! Will be coming back again real soon. This place is a must try if you have never been!”
