“I loved this random(but always vegan) choice of where to eat while driving through the area. The name struck me cool when it popped up on my Google search for vegan restaurants nearby. Excellent rating. Was a no brainer.Totally wowed by all the factors when I walked in, ordered, waited, and ate. The food was exceptional. Perfect. It sets an unreachable bar. I had the Frito Burrito and Buffalo Cauliflower with possibly the best Buffalo and Ranch Dips ever. “Tays is probably my top burger joint. Grass fed beef burgers leave you full, but not weighed down like 5 guys or somewhere like that. The only thing is I often order bacon and most times it's missing from my burger, but that 1.50 charge aint! Last time I went in I said something and the cook hooked me up and made sure I had bacon! Grab a local bottled soda to go with your food! My favorite is the orange and strawberry creme sodas!“

“We were staying at the Hampton Inn downtown and were looking for a good restaurant within walking distance of our hotel. The city market area has about a dozen restaurants to choose from, so we chose this one. It was an excellent choice. The restaurant is very bright due to having a lot of windows, as well as many light fixtures inside. We started with the shrimp toast appetizer, and it was outstanding. It contained toasted pieces of baguette covered in gold shrimp, moray, chives, Sriracha, nuox Cham cauliflower, and sesame crunch. I could just eat that dish again for my dinner. For entrees, we had the Bahn MI sandwich and the grilled quail. The Bahn MI consisted of pork meatballs, bacon pate, pickled vegetables, chili aioli, banana ketchup, chili oil and cilantro. It was very flavorful but a little spicy. My husband had the grilled quail. He loved it. It was accompanied by ginger-lime fried rice. We would definitely return.“

“I honestly had no clue what to expect for charity bingo night. We went with a group for my mom’s 59th bday. (Yes, she’s a fun one) Usually places where entertainment is the highlight the food suffers - it did not disappoint at all- everything was delicious and all the meals looked amazing ? Our server Kate was the best customer service and service I’ve ever had in my life. I was so blown away by the service I had to tip 50% as that level of attention was mind blowing ? I never once had an empty glass or had to worry about anyone needing anything because we were taken care of that well. Deserves a raise! The bingo was a great time and many laughs were had. Would definitely come back! 20/10 recommend“

“I have been coming to Hi-Boy's my whole life. It's the best cheeseburger in town. My mother was a teen when it opened. She taught us to love it and now my kids crave it! We now live 2 hours away and it's the first place we stop when we come to KC!!!“

“We were visiting a friend for the weekend and were very excited to see a Culvers. We decided to stop in and the restaurant was very busy, however the staff were working efficiently and doing a great job of keeping up with the work and being super friendly as well. There were people keeping the drink area clean and checking that all the tables were cleared properly as people left. Our food came out quickly and it was very delicious. They had accidentally left out an order of fries, and when we said something the gentleman went straight back to get that for us and brought it to our table. As always, the food was so good and the atmosphere pleasant.“

“My husband was a patient at KU Med for 6 days. I went on Google to find a place that served "hamburger baskets" Quickies came up (thank you). I WAS NOT disappointed! The hamburger and fries were so good I was there 4 of the 6 days of his stay. The people working there each day they would ask about my husband. “This old school late night burger joint sure hits the spot after a night at the club. The line was at least five deep when I found this 24 joint. Sampled the cheeseburger, onion rings and the hot dog with chili and cheese. The burger was thin and delicious, cooked on a flat top. Onion rings were large and generous. The big surprise was the hot dog sandwich. Served with at least two or more split top hot dogs the smothered in chili with beans and American cheese. It was huge and more than enough for two. I was expecting a Detroit style chili dog but hey that's why I try hot dogs everywhere I go, you never know what you're going to get. I added this place because I hope to come back!“

“That time I had a seat with history at Union Station in Kansas City, Missouri. This historical station stories takes us through the 100-year history of Union Station through artifacts, photos and interactive information screens. Union Station memories include anticipating the arrival of trains filled with loved ones. Explored Harvey's restaurant where I had the most delicious fried chicken with biscuit bathed in the most tasteful gravy sauce. Omg! The cheeseburgers are small (order two) but taste great. They're smash burgers with onions smashed on top. The hashbrowns are the best too. My "usual" is 2 Cheeseburgers with side of hashbrowns. But in general big burgers and like my cheesesteak was falling out of it’s bun and I definitely need a fork and a spoon because I was not going to let what dropped go to waste. “This is a newer location of dairy queen in a great location. It's in the parking lot of the old mall turned shopping area. It's easy to get in and out of the parking lot. There's a lot of handicap accessible parking. The entrance and restaurant is also accessible. The food is good and service is usually pretty good as well.“

“It was great experience came as a group we all tried it for the first time I got the triple burger it was good but maybe a little overhyped still going to try more of the menu and add more onto this employees really nice and respectful my cup had a hole at the bottom and didn't notice it thought it was part of the condensation but it turned out it wasn't and employee was the one who noticed and Gave me a new cup and apologized for the inconvenience, highly recommended for atmosphere and chilling having a great time with people who care about their service and quality of experience. “If you're coming for bar-b-que, my picky husband said it's some of the very best he's ever had and it would be hard to beat. If you don't eat meat or are a pescatarian like me, this is probably not the place for you. My salad was nothing fancy, very basic, yet was $20. Not worth it at all. But my husband loved this place so much that I had to give it a 5 star rating. The drinks from the bar were good and only $9, which I thought was great compared with so many other places.“

“Shocking as it is, this was my first time at Hi-Boy. It was good! The burgers are huge, though my daughter and I found them just a bit spicy. I liked it, but the picky kiddo refused to eat half her burger. The fries are good, with a bit of a coating, but my tots were a smidge underdone. They use fresh diced onions, and a lot of them in the burger. If you want to add condiments, you'll want to flip your cheeseburger and open the bottom bun, because the top one is glued on with cheese. No kid meals with toys, which I like, but my child was slightly disappointed in. The burgers are the flattened kind, but they don't use that as a way to use less meat. They have fried pickles and onion rings, as well as shakes, but I didn't try those today. Atmosphere is clean and slightly updated old- school diner.“

“We went in for the restrooms and a take out order in early evening. It was moderately fast service and the order was correct. The restrooms were mostly clean. There were plenty of tables available as well. We've been through the drive through at other times and always had a good experience.“
