“Went for 🌮 tuesday taco where good just not very hot. served on paper towels witch made them a bit soggy and didn't retain heat like they would on the metal plates. It was super to have Larry's hand pinned tacos. The chicken taco were not good but I think could have been think the chicken was bad or close to it. The owner or manager needs to manage an get things in order bc it was busy but no organization so staff was not efficient an you could tell the were all running. Inefficiency make staff work harder not an with frustration.“

“I have nothing but positive things to say about Taco Rico. Food is fresh and oh so good. Reminds me of being in my grandmas' kitchen. When I say everything is good, I mean EVERYTHING is good. Don't even get me started on the staff!!! They will always have my vote. Yes, sometimes they are closed during their normal business hours, they (family & staff) run business and life happens. Always 5 stars in my book.“

“Best chicken in Kansas City. Locally owned and so damn good! The half chicken is more than filling, comes with soft tortillas, pickled onions, pinto beans, and a variety of hot sauces to choose from. The buffalo wings are good but VERY spicy. They have bottled pops like jarritos and cokes, fantas. You won’t be disappointed!“

“Los Alamos Cocina is easily the best authentic Mexican food in KC. The menudo and pozole is best ive ever had and the chili rolo and verde are both outstanding, tastes exactly like homemade because they are. Wonderful family owned stop in a historic area of KC. oh and dont forget to treat yourself to the best chillaquiles and eggs you'll ever have. Delicious! The catering we got for our New Years feast was a huge hit as well: tamales, pork verde and menudo. EXCELLENTE!“

“🚨GUACAMOLE CHANGE! We’ve been coming to Ponaks for 30 years. The guacamole has aways been one of our favorites. Today we ordered it and immediately noticed something was different. We asked the server and he confirmed that they have changed their recipe, and it’s for the worst. They’ve added “filler” by putting pico and other ingredients into it. It’s not even close to what it was. I hope they don’t start changing their food and Margaritas!!! There is a reason people keep coming back year after year! Please dont mess with perfection Ponaks!“
