“We visited Maypop yesterday for the first time. Easy parking and a charming exterior. The latte I had was excellent. The food menu is very limited if you are hoping for even a light breakfast, but we made it work. We ordered the yogurt parfait and found it delicious. Slightly tangy plain yogurt, honey, granola & fresh blueberries. YUM! We sat and visited comfortably for a long time.“
“Kaldis in Kirkwood is my go to for fresh delicious food. I typically order the Greek Salad which is fresh mixed greens, chickpeas, chicken , Kalamata , cucumbers, pickled peppers and more , it’s healthy and fantastic! It’s alwsys a little different every time (ingredient ratio wise) , but that is ok. And I am able to request less of or more of certain ingredients to accommodate my low carb diet which is a bonus!Their Cobb Salad ... also fantastic. The hummus board, and the black bean burrito.. yummy.,The burrito will serve two. I wish they offered a truly LARGE drink cup to go. With ice and my favorite tea, it’s a few slurps and it’s gone kinda moment. ☹️Vegetarian options: They have a handful of vegan options!“
“My friends and I visited St Louis for a weekend trip! This little coffee shop was walking distance from our place and we loved it here! The matcha latte I got was great and the breakfast was super yummy. The baristas were awesome!! They were kind and approachable, and gave suggestions of shops and boutiques for us to visit. We went there several times for coffee; fabulous & friendly!“
“Well. Awesome vibe. Real human dialogue and happiness all around. Standing room conversations and all tables being used. What coffee shops should be. Everyone is kind, helpful and the coffee is delicious and made with loveKid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: There is a back ramp.“
“What an incredible experience! The food was great and Don was more charming than reviews can convey. We went for brunch with friends and were greeted quite warmly upon arrival. We ordered am omelette, a breakfast sandwich, a breakfast burrito and "The Tuscan" (eggs, goat cheese, pesto & sun-dried tomato - incredibly good!). Everything was so very good from the coffee to the food. The mimosas were the best we've ever had. This is truly a neighborhood place with all of the warm hospitality and great food it takes to become a neighborhood staple. We will be back to this gem as long as it's here. Thank you, Don, for such a great experience!“
“I got the raspberry cheesecake & biscof cookie waffle cone and it was DELICIOUS, just a little hard from being frozen but obviously not enough to be an issue since I ate it so fast! Fantastic flavor options, friendly, welcoming staff :)“
“Really, really enjoyed this one. You know it's the right kind of coffee shop when they don't have sizes of cappuccino. No small, medium, or large; just cappuccino, five ounces of goodness, not too foamy. The vibe is more eurostyle than hipster industrial. The baristas are the real thing. They know and care about their product, or else they do an awfully good job at pretending. Wish I'd had more cash to give a better tip. I'm going back, for sure.“
“Park Ave is my favorite coffee shop! Their cold brew, various lattes and food items are so good. The caramel madeline latte is my favorite (no need to add sugar, this one is sweet and delectable like a dessert). They don't have a full breakfast menu, but ask them to warm up a quiche slice for ya and it will do the trick! Staff is always friendly and efficient. I'm so glad they decided to have a coffee shop attached to their main roasting facility here. It's a gem for the neighborhood.“
“Coffee is good, baked goods even better. The blueberry scone was perfectly crumbly and not dry with lots of tiny blueberries. The biscotti were the best I tasted thus far, perfect texture and taste! Service was very friendly and accommodating. They have mugs if you request them.Avoid the croissant sandwiches though, they’re the equivalent of a breakfast sandwich from McDonalds with American melted cheese.“
“Love this place!!! It's a super cute spot with reasonably priced baked goods, breakfast sandwiches, and smoothies. And such a great mission. :) I got the pineapple colada smoothie which was very light and yummy. Would definitely go back!“
“For the first time coming here I was impressed. The server was nice and greeted us. She told us about the cupcakes and told us about the popular options. It was a nice environment and they have a nice taste in music. I will be back to get another desert!“
“I need to give this AMAZING store a shout out. I have been going here for years and just appreciating all the amazing curated goods they have to offer. Don't forget to go downstairs as well and take your time looking around. Such high quality kitchen goods at reasonable prices. The service is top notch. I was in looking for Mason Cash bowls last week but didn't find the colors I wanted. A caring employee said they were expecting a huge shipment soon and would call me when it came in. Sure enough he called me last night and I was there first thing this morning and got exactly what I wanted. I am so pleased with my experience with this store today and always, and had to share! Please support this local business!“
“I cannot speak highly enough about the owner and coffee/food here. She has always been amazing but following a house fire she went above and beyond helping us find a rental and gifting us all the things we needed to get our coffee fix at home! This is why locally owned is the way to go, she genuinely cares about her customers!“
“We love coming to Road Crew and grabbing some coffee and some of their baked goods. The food selection is limited to baked goods but everyone single one we've tried has been great. The space is beautiful-- lots of natural light and and seating options. Apart from the coffee they have a cycling corner with bikes, cycling gear and a repair area. The staff is very sweet!“
“Ohh, this is what a cappuccino is supposed to taste like! Been a really long time since I had one from a cafe that isn't a Starbucks or other fast food cafe. It's excellent! I like the inside of this place too. The vault is a little, dimmly lit, hangout area.“
“I feel very grateful to have this place a couple blocks from my house. Great coffee, cozy interior, owners & baristas are very sweet and welcoming.I’ve been walking here at least twice a week for months, and always have a great experience. A real neighborhood gem :-) dont forget to splurge on the coffee cubes for your iced latte.(and tip well if you can!! these guys seriously deserve it)“
“Just got food with my partner and the homie with the glasses who worked Tuesday morning was so nice and literally made our day. Didn’t have cash to tip him but hoping he has the best year of his life.Vegetarian options: Has a few options for vegetarians but they are yummy“
“I stopped by La Cosecha on my quest to find good coffee in the STL area and wasn't disappointed. The service was lovely and quick and the coffee was delicious. I'll definitely be back!Only one note, and this is typical of most coffee shops so not a ding at all, I wish there were more sugar free syrup options for those of us who can't have sugar. They currently only have vanilla. They have oat milk and almond milk as well.“
“First time here, appreciate the milk alternative for the latte. Coffee is what you would expect from a decent coffee shop. The food is a pleasant surprise the Cervapi is "FIRE" aka delicious. Other options look good too. Definitely worth a second visit. I had to come back and edit the review after reading other people's comments I have to mention that none of the people that helped me were rude at all.Wheelchair accessibility: From what I can see in this place is pretty accessible“
“Love this place! The moment you open the door, the amazing smell of coffee greats you. The atmosphere is also very cozy and calming. Their gelato is amazing. I love that they have non dairy oat milk options for gelato. I especially loved the chia flavor I had once, I have never had the chance to find it again. My go-to is an affogato. I wish they had more locations, specifically in West County. I'd definitely be a daily customer if they did.“
“This is a modern day Cheers. Everybody knows your name. I’ve never not left with a smile on my face. The staff here makes me feel like family. And on top of that the coffee and hot food are amazing. I recommend the Benny’s eggs and Sunset, but we’ve tried the whole menu and loved it all.“
“Nestled in the corner of Arsenal near Grand, MoKaBe's Coffeehouse is an oasis for coffee aficionados and anyone seeking a warm, inviting atmosphere to unwind. From its eclectic decor to its robust coffee offerings and community-centric ethos, MoKaBe's exudes charm and character at every turn.“
“I do enjoy a special treat at Starbucks. This particular location (mason/Clayton) makes great drinks, has ample parking and are very friendly. I usually order a hot mocha but opted for a toasted white chocolate mocha at the advice of the Barista...it was delicious!“
“Very cute coffee shop, atmosphere is cozy and warm. Outdoor heating patio is definitely amazing. Drinks and cookies are not much more expensive than any other popular coffee places but all the shelves products such as pasta, sauces, chocolate, loose tea are outrageously expensive !“
“Such a gem! A cute little shop with awesome in house crafted syrups! The breakfast burrito was the best my husband had ever had. The coffee was fantastic and the the girl taking our order was so sweet and helpful! Give them all your business!“
“Ordered for pickup here. Never tried before. The food was amazing, and the portions were much bigger than I anticipated. Which just made for yummy leftovers. They were busy, and the parking in this area is a little iffy if you are driving to pick up your order. But overall went smooth and the staff was helpful.“
“This place is fantastic. Robert and his team host the friendliest coffee shop I’ve ever visited. Locally owned and operated. Extremely friendly and welcoming to any and all people. Stop in and support a local business. You won’t regret it.“
“My favorite place for cold pressed juices! The staff is so nice and helpful. Don’t forget to try one of the breakfast sandwiches! They are delicious.Vegetarian options: Almost all vegetarian, and great for vegans.Parking: Sometimes hard to find a spot to park as it’s in busy CWE. Lots of delivery trucks doubled parked makes navigating the area unpleasant.Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible“
“This coffee shop is a hidden gem in the neighborhood. I have been here twice, and I enjoyed my time here both times. There are plenty of sitting areas, both indoors and outdoors. The covered outdoor sitting area is pet-friendly and has heaters and plug-ins if you want to do school work or hang out while you enjoy our coffee or food. My go-to drink from this place is an iced latte macchiato, and I have ordered their Nutella with strawberry waffles before. The waffle was okay, and it was overpriced. I don't recommend it if you want to get full from a food order. They have other options to choose from.“
“Great! Clean, sophisticated, bright and modern atmosphere. Nice change from the typical grungy coffee houses. Selection of coffee and brewing techniques is superb. I admit to being a bit snobby and I order a cortado the first time I visit a coffee shop to gauge the place. They nailed it. (To be fair they list it on the menu which many other coffee houses do not). Service is friendly and unpretentious. Probably not perfect, but it was close. Great find on a trip to St Louis.“
“Our brunch at Ivy Cafe was pure weekend happiness. A cute little shop with ample parking in front of it. Servers were very nice, and menus were easily accessible with a QR code. Let me break it down for you:The Washington: Imagine sausage, eggs, and cheddar cheese getting cozy on a slice of toasted goodness. The result? A comforting, cheesy embrace of flavor that'll make you come back. A simple thing done right is the best description I can give you. The Rosebury: This tartine was like a sweet symphony of whipped ricotta, housemade jam, fresh berries, and crunchy granola. Probably my favorite thing here. Normally, I'm more of a meat man, but this is something that I can eat meal after meal, and make me forget my carnal relationship with meats. The sourdough itself adds a subtle tang, and with the weight of all of the toppings, slicing into it makes the texture more so like cake than bread. May be a detriment to you, but I personally very much enjoyed it. The granola added a great texture to the overall dish. Overall, the perfect amount of sweetness for me. Quiche Lorraine: The filling itself was like a warm hug. It was so creamy, rich, and flavorful, a real treat on the tongue. The crust itself was okay (not as flaky and buttery as I want it to be), but didn't detract from the overall experience. The Delcrest: The Delcrest was really good as well. I love a good smoked salmon with cream cheese. It was like eating a smoked salmon bagel, but more sophisticated and more complex (mostly due to the subtle tang of the sourdough bread). Ivy Cafe is the kind of place where you kick back, enjoy some fantastic food, and soak in the relaxed vibe. It's all about casual deliciousness here. Ambience is great, like a fashionable person in their mid-twenties designed the place. 5/5 stars for the Rosebury alone.“
“Love love love this place! It is a vegetarian cafe that offers food and coffee, smoothies and teas. I had the cinnamon brûlée and the avocado toast with egg and the hubs had the egg cheese biscuit with the regular latte. We were both very pleased with our taster choices. This is definitely our go to when passing by.“
“Best Croissants in St. Louis! One of my fav places to sit and work for a bit, but be aware there’s almost no charging ports.Other than that, easily my fav coffee shop in stl. The baked goods are delicious, the drinks are amazing and made with lots of love. (The only drink I don’t recommend is their matcha)Atmosphere is great, lots of natural light and the staff are all very friendly and kind.Kid-friendliness: Great outdoor area with room for kids and strollers. Inside is pretty tight with tables“
“I made it a requirement to return and sample other dishes on the menu after my initial meal here. I've probably been here three times in the last two weeks. I strongly advise including the vegetarian patty along with the salad (P22). In addition to being a good value for the money, the salad's crunchiness complemented the tasty flavor of the hand-made patties. The majority of the menu items include a vegan option, and they range from smoothies to soups and bowls. The service is excellent here. If you're looking for a quick bite, they're happy to answer any queries and the turnaround time is rapid. The atmosphere is excellent. The site is hidden behind an AMC theater, but once you enter, you'll notice the indoor seating, refrigerated beverages, and a menu with a list of the large variety of food they provide.“
“Recently visited Honey Bee Tea and was thoroughly impressed by their creative and delicious tea offerings. Bought different drinks for the family and each drink I tried was a delightful blend of unique flavors. The atmosphere of the café is warm and inviting. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, happily recommending drinks based on my preferences. I highly recommend their specialty teas for anyone looking to try something new and flavorful. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Honey Bee Tea!“
“Gateway Coffee Company is a nice coffee shop. Their coffee they get from Crimson Coffee in Columbus, OH, and their pastries are from a local pastries store. The coffee cake muffins we had were intriguing as they had a salty external layer that was actually nice to the taste buds. I gave it a four star because the coffee and food were good, but there is no kitchen, and nothing is actually made by Gateway Coffee., still a solid place to stop at and pick up a coffee or tea.“
“Nice coffee house, really cozy and great to work. The attention was nice and quick, coffee was super good and food options were really tasty. Compared to other places in the city, coffee was a little bit pricey but for the place and location is ok.“
“Always a great breakfast experience. For a classic breakfast, the Barn Breakfast always hits home as the comfort food choice with cooked just right hasbrowns (or grits if that's your thing). The pancakes and sweet choices are always good. And if you are in the mood for eggs benedict...good luck choosing which one (which is why I usually revert back to the barn breakfast). And make sure you get a breakfast cocktail!“
“Every detail of third wave coffee was covered here - from a warmed ceramic mug, to tableside delivery if your order to expertly prepared espresso, pour overs and milk drinks. The stoppered pourover flasks are a nice touch as well. Baked goods were not stale or leftover from the day before but were served warm and moist. The biscuits had just the right bake. With a flaky inside and slightly salted crust the apple jam they were served with rocked the house.“
“A regular colleague collaboration stop for me. The staff here are knowledgeable and kind. WiFi is very fast. Today I had their specialty bergamot latte and my complaint was that the sweetener was not well dispersed in the drink. The top was quite bitter and the sweetener clearly sank down to the bottom of the drink.“
“This place is pretty great. I got an espresso and a goey butter danish. Both items were amazing. It's a busy place so I had to wait for a seat with a table but one did become available quickly. The staff is also amazing. Very friendly and open to talk. ?Vegetarian options: They have pastry dishes that are vegetarian.“
“This place has awesome drink and food options. I really like their nitro cold brew and their breakfast items. There is usually a line and very limited seating. Also, the parking is kind of a nightmare, so be patient and give yourself some extra time.Parking: Tight parking. Hard to find a spot. Awkward one way street.“
“I tried this place today because my usual cafe was closed, and I was not prepared for just how amazing this place was. It’s probably going to be my new usual!! I ordered the frozen chocolate coffee and the breakfast sandwich. When I tell you I was blown away, I was BLOWN AWAY. The sandwich could not be better of they tried. The bun is perfectly soft, the bacon is perfectly between chewy and crunchy, the eggs are fluffy, and the cheese brings the whole thing together. I ate so much so fast I made myself sick ? definitely check this place out as soon as you can!“
“This place is a slay. Their omelet is one of the best breakfast items, you get a lot of bang for your buck. Their breakfast bowls are also top tier. Their espresso drinks are always delish. They’re super busy in the mornings, definitely check out their busy hours. Great spot for meeting up with friends, getting some work done, reading, and brunch dates. Their food is always fresh, hot, and delicious. They have plenty of comfy chairs, with more on the second floor.“
“I recently tried La Finca Coffee and their cappuccino was excellent. The balance between the rich espresso and creamy milk was spot on, creating a beautifully smooth and indulgent drink. I can't wait to go back for another perfectly crafted cappuccino.“
“If I could, I would go there every day! Tonight, I tried the Brown Sugar Milk Tea and the Strawberry Matcha Latte. Both were very pleasing to the palate. Not too sweet, just perfect! Inside and out, very clean and cute! I love this place!! Great job!“
“Beautiful place. Drinks were great and fast. We'll totally come back to hang out on the patio. They were very busy when they were there and it took a long time to get seated. It also took a very long time to order so just make sure you have allotted yourself when you go. The food was okay pretty standard. I had the carnitas which was pulled. Not typical so it was just a pile of meat on the plate. Drinks were great and fast!“
“I love trying new places. This cafe is very nice! Many beautiful plants, friendly atmosphere. The staff is very nice, always smiling. I didn't know what kind of coffee to drink, but the staff helped me choose :) The place is absolutely family-friendly. I was able to spend a pleasant time here.“
“Love the kid friendly area in the back, let's me enjoy a coffee and the kids enjoy the train table. Had a breakfast Sammie and cheesy potatoes, it was good and worth it, just not anything amazing about it but what breakfast is? Will definitely be back though because a kid friendly area is always worth it when out to eat. Oh and the Lavender Latte was great! Very friendly people working and service was fantastic, though it was not busy this Friday morning it was steady, nice to see in a local business!Kid-friendliness: Train table and books available for kiddos plus a kids menu with snacky snacks for purchase“
“So it's a new restaurant I would just close it. Yes, close it. It appears nobody from McDonald's corporate or works at McDonald's or knows McDonald's or knows daffy duck cares if there's any service here worst ever. Yes, close the new restaurant turn it into a cannabis because that's who's working there.“
