“This place is the most welcoming, warm, full of good people dive bar I have ever been to in my life. Lots of pinball machines, wonderful bartenders and patrons, Dan-o's pizza if you get hungry. The pinball machines are half the cost. They are anywhere else that I've been to. The owners are amazing. And the people are such a great group of people. This place has been my home bar for 4 years and I don't see that changing. I always feel safe, welcome, and protected when I am in this bar. “It is small, all the chairs are bar height and so are the tables. There was no place for us to sit in front of the band so we had to sit off to the side at the bar. Not really an issue for us but it was not very comfortable. It was quite Smoky and they left the doors closed. I believe it would have been better to leave the door open so some of the smoke could filter out. The owner was also the bartender and I like her a lot! If you are a smoker this would probably be a great place for you. If you don't mind sitting on bar height stools then this is the place for you. The bathrooms are extremely tiny after you get into the stall... So it's not big girlfriend friendly.
I just don't think this was the place for us but by the amount of people that were there it is definitely the place for a lot of other people!

“Bunker's is a nice corner pub with a outdoor covered patio. The price of drinks was much lower than I anticipated, meant more to tip the bartender. Friendly patrons at least the few I met. They were open promptly at the listed hours. Only thing that was missing was music(no ambient music in the background).“

“Coming in there was no one in here. To find they opened late today. Only had wings and fries. Ordered garlic Parmesan, sweet hot, and buffalo. Chicken cooked to perfection. Some of the selections were a little salty to me but overall the food is great and the staff is friendly. Will definitely make this a spot to visit in the future. You can rent out the whole place for a reasonable fee. Don’t sleep on this establishment. Did I mention it’s black owned.“

“This is a great bar if you like friendly service! Amber was the best bartender I think I’ve ever met. She was always smiling and super fast with a refill. Good help like that is hard to find these days. She really makes the visits worth the drive for us.“

“I’ve been here twice. First time was for my bachelorette party. This boat was perfect! We were put up in the karaoke room right away and our server came up frequently to make sure we had enough drinks and everything was good. It was the perfect night! Then we went again yesterday for my birthday. The drinks were fantastic and there was plenty to keep us entertained while waiting for our turn in the karaoke room. The only flaw in the night was fixed right away by the amazing security staff and the manager! I would only suggest a better system for the karaoke waitlist. We were called for our room and went up only to be told by the waitress (who did not check the waitlist) that someone else had the room and even though they booked after us we needed to leave. I wish I had gotten the names of the security staff and manger because when we brought this issue to them they resolved it right away and we were able to enjoy some karaoke to end the night. Thank you to all the security staff and the manager (those 5 stars for you) for helping end our night on a good note! I will alway recommend this place to people and will gladly go here for any birthday in the future! ❤️ Also we did not eat here but we saw Nachos coming out that looked absolutely 🔥 and if the kitchen had still been open we would have ordered some!“

“Absolute finest dining in all of the Midwest. The escargot is to die for. On Sundays they have a falafel bar that is out of this world. Completely unexpected, but they do have over 100 flavors of ice cream. I would highly recommend this establishment. But make sure you bring cash because they are cash only!“

“Went to the Ritz last night for their New Years Celebration. My shoe strap broke when walking in and I didn’t know what to do. But the staff there saved the day. I’ve never experienced such amazing hospitality. They saw me struggling and came to my rescue. Shoutout to Kenna for helping me. She not only offered a solution, but she sat on the floor and took 10 minutes to fix my shoe herself. All of the staff are so amazing and kind. “Decided to go here for my girlfriend’s birthday after reading the reviews. I was a little thrown off at first that it’s located inside the hotel (but that is my fault), but Café La Vie ended up being a great choice. Our waiter, Matthew, did an excellent job and made sure we were well taken care of the entire time. The charcuterie board was really good, the French onion soup was excellent, and they have a very nice drink selection. Overall, the food was great and the experience exceeded expectations. Highly recommend.“
