“I own AGMI School for hospitality a Restaurant Consultant company, here in Crystal city.I stopped in ,for dinner .The young man who took my complaint and order was very helpful and made sure I was Satisfied.I ordered a double order of Beijing beef and the vegetable chow mein for myself and a double order of orange chicken and fried rice for my wife. The beef and vegetables were crispy and not overly cooked. The chow mein wasal dente and just with the right amount of sauce. My wife said her orange chicken wasn't chewy and cooked just right. She said the fried rice was good ,but It didn't come with soy sauce, how she like it.I wouldn't take a point away for not having soy sauce for we have some at home.Thank you very much ?,Rev.Sean-Kyle Blair aka the Arch Bishop of Saint Louis“

“This is obviously a local institution - many of the customers when we visited obviously ate at Lam's Garden regularly and were known by the staff. The local police occupied a whole table at lunchtime. The food was OK - the chicken in my General Tso's chicken was a little tough. However the service was most friendly and attentive. The restaurant is a little hard to see from the street - it is located behind other businesses closer to the street and you have to look between buildings to see the restaurant. There is plenty of parking in front of the building - parking spaces on the side of the building are reserved for pickup orders.“

“Our first time to this restaurant. First, the order taker spoke better English than a lot of places I've ordered from, so she definitely helped me with a few questions, which I appreciated! Pickup time from order was about 20 minutes which was also great and the counter lady was friendly and personable at pickup. The store itself was not well kept, bicycles inside the eating area, kinda cluttered; not really a place you'd want to dine in. The food was good. It was not great but it was not bad and the lunch portions were adequate for the price. The egg rolls had a heavier (I think cabbage) taste than most other places I've had, but again, not terrible. It's decent Chinese food at a decent price. I won't be rushing back for more but I'll probably hit them again in the future since they're close by.“

“We were seated quickly upon arrival. The restaurant itself appeared clean, as did the restroom facilities. The buffet itself was immediately impressive with a very wide selection of foods and in particular a small sampling of sushi rolls stood out in its own section as well as a dessert bar & ice cream cooler. The food was good, our server seemed to be juggling most of the room but did a good job on collecting used plates and topping off our soft drinks, because they prefer not to have customers use the soda fountain directly. Pricing was decent. Around $5 for our little kids, $8 for our bigger kids and $14 for adults + soft drinks charges. For 2 adults and 3 paying kids, we paid about $65 (without tip) for the all you can eat buffet and soft drinks. My wife loves sushi, and seemed satisfied with the quality of their selections in particular. We will likely visit them again in the future.“

“Good take-out chinese. Always quick with take-out orders. Large portions for price. My husband and I usually get things like the sesame chicken, pineapple chicken, general tsos, crab rangoon, and egg roll. The inside of the building is the definition of a "hole in the wall" lol so nothing special there, which is why the atmosphere rating is low.“
