“Every time we go here we either get crap service and decent food, or decent service and either wrong food or not all of our food. It is not acceptable! It's not fair that someone has to go hungry because they can't their shit together! They say they can't deliver my food to me, because they're short handed.... how is your staffing issue my fault? Ordered my food ahead of time so we could just swing by and pick it up.... no... that couldn't happen... we waited and waited, seen them helping everyone in the drive thru.... finally I went in to get my own food. I guess it's my bad that I trusted that they would get it correct.“

“I absolutely love Star Cafe. It’s one of the very few places I can take the kids, feel safe, and not feel judged if my little one is having a bad day. “My husband got the breakfast burrito and I got the avocado toast and I asked for three scrambled eggs on the side.
The burrito was good sized (looks small in the picture for some reason) and it was delicious! Definately recommend!

Avocado toast wasn't actually toasted. It tasted like it was made in house which was good but was a little tough. I think it would have been much better if it would have been toasted!

We also got a cinnamon role and an orange almond muffin. Neither were bad, good but also not anything I would get again.

They have a sugar free vanilla which was good! It would be nice to have more sugar free options available but glad they had one though!

“I accidentally placed a mobile here a week ago and couldn’t figure out how to get a refund, as they are 30 minutes away! I popped over just to see if there was anything I could do, and they offered to make my drink for me, a whole week later. They didn’t act annoyed or anything, the gal at the window was so kind to me, I felt so bad having to even ask.

“The food here was really good. I enjoyed a bacon, egg, and cheese sourdough breakfast sandwich, at 3 in the afternoon, along with an iced coffee to wash it down. Had to get me a chocolate iced cake donut for dessert. It hit the spot. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars on the service was when I entered and went straight to the counter to place my order there was no one there. I hollered to the back around 5 times before anyone came up to take my order inside. Oh well.

“I wanted coffee and maybe a bite to eat, but knowing I have food issues I knew I might be out of luck at a place the serves what I can't eat. Well, Sophia was kind enough to consider the menu carefully and after consulting the kitchen came up with the home fries (deep fried, not cooked where eggs and pancakes are) and a quite delicious fruit cup (full of VERY fresh fruit)!

“I've stopped in the Cottleville location a couple of times and have really enjoyed the sausage and gravy and the sausage, bacon and cheese ones. It's a very good, very quick breakfast that's a little different from the norm.“
