“1/1/23. We love this little place. We've tried everything on the menu, and have never been disappointed. Now, if you're looking for, high class, or you're uppity, just stay away. But if you want good, home cooked meals, with a great view, then go. Get the FRIPS, they are a must. 6/1/23- This is still a great place. I had the chicken BLT, it was great. 8/4/23. You have to try the pork chop. And also the pies.“

“Wacky Jacks is a friendly local establishment. We stopped in on our way to Tablerock Lake. There is a smoking and non smoking side. We opted for the nonsmoking side. Plenty of table and booths with customer signatures on the walls! They have a stage for live music and karaoke. The staff is super friendly and the burgers are delicious. We also enjoyed the sweet potato fries and onion rings. We will definitely be back!“

“Dickeys Bbq does good job of affordable comfort bbq food. Every thing is good, brisket, sausage, fries are a fav, with assortment of sauces. Order at counter is very transactional, not quite fast food but you don't see the prep at counter, maybe help to visually see the meat prep for more inviting feel when you enter (as you eat with your eyes first!!). After prep you take your food on a tray to your table. Worker asked for tip at register was awkward for the wife, I didn't care. Decor is bbq rustic but dated. Has a feel that it had its heyday 10 years ago. Needs some personality but it could be last bbq standing in Nixa.“

“I'm from the Mississippi Gulf Coast, just 30 minutes east of New Orleans.I have moved around since hurricane Katrina. (not my choice)I'm now in Nixa, MO and I have been wanting some Catfish. I found this place here in Nixa called S.S. Dockside Grill and Pub. I've tried other places here but I have to say it is really good. I had the Catfish plate w/slaw and fries. Great!❤️I also had the fried pickle chips w/remoulade sauce.Hummm. All was very good. I was born and raised on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and it was pretty good considering it's not on the gulf coast.I give it a 5 ⭐ star rating.Thank you S.S. “I was eating lunch with 6 other friends. We enjoyed everything. I had a spin on a Reuben, in that pulled pork was used. It was good, and the fries were nicely seasoned. I was full half way through, so I skipped dessert. I did sample the green tomato cake and it was delicious. Our waitress was very nice and provided us with good service. Ambience of the Finley river lovely. If I had to find a negative, guess I would say maybe the food could have been brought out a little faster. We weren't in any hurry, so all was good.“

“Always a fun spot to stop on a road trip. Classic country fare, anything you could want, from frog legs to BBQ. Home of the thrown rolls! They do family style meals, so you order your main and aides, but they keep coming around the whole time with different country sides "pass arounds. like fried okra, macaroni and tomato, and black eyed peas. Want more hot, fresh yeast roles? Just throw up your hand! They're always busy, and they don't take reservations, but the place is HUGE and the line goes fast.“

“If you don't already know, all Braum's stores are located within 300 miles of their farm. This means fresher everything! Their milk is fabulous! And if you haven't shopped their market, check it out! I am able to do a lot of my grocery shopping there and they are almost always less expensive than larger supermarkets. “We stopped here because it was highly recommended. Staff was friendly enough and atmosphere trendy/touristy, but the food was mediocre. For me, the portions were out of this world. My husband and I had to split the breakfast and still took it back to the motel and ended up throwing leftovers away. For the amount of food, the prices were great but most likely because food is mediocre.“

“I hadn't ever visited a Culver's prior to today. I had heard of them as I've seen many locations, but I wasn't aware of the concept until today. The staff was almost friendlier than Chick-fil-A, if you can believe it. I wasn't expecting so many employees to respond whenever I asked for an order suggestion. The feedback I received shocked me at 1st, but I decided on the mushroom and Swiss basket with onion rings. I'm glad I didn't notice until we were leaving that there is a blackberry dessert or I might've ordered multiple and not even ordered a meal. We were actually told g'bye while leaving in addition to being greeted when we entered. It definitely is a unique experience that I can't wait to share with my kids one day for us to make multiple return trips.“

“Was a very good experience! Super friendly and clean. Our waitress was over quickly, got us drinks, and took our order on a portable device that sent the food directly to the kitchen. Salad was out in minutes, appetizers soon after, and HOT! Food followed and was also hot and amazing. Fried chicken was special, and it was very good. The grilled bacon maple chicken was really good as well. Homemade rolls. Fast service and food delivery amazing well ran restaurant. We will 100% be back.“

“All of our food was close to cold as if it sat there for a little while then maybe microwaved cuz the plate was hot food wasn't. IT was still good food tho. We beat the church rush so I don't know what the miss was. Service and atmosphere was nice. Will always stop by when in the area.“

“We go here all the time for dinner dates, happy hour, and recently we’re blown away by the quality of their lunch. The food is always excellent and the service is great. We also like to call and order pizza to pickup and take home for our whole family. Definitely order the crab dip!The only thing to consider is that the environment has a bit of a smell from the cigar lounge next door. It doesn’t bother us, but if you are sensitive, go on a day that you can sit outside. It won’t bother you a bit outside.“

“Started going recently and always get the 2-2-2-2!!! BEST PANCAKES!!! And when the bacon was a lil crispier than i like it, i asked for it less done and that's what i got, PERFECTLY how i like it. And when you ask for crispy hash browns, you GET CRISPY HASH BROWNS. Some other breakfast places just can't seem to understand what that means. Crispy means crispy, and Tony's nailed it. Literally everything is perfect. Probably my new favorite breakfast place tbh.“

“Stephanie was a wonderful and knowledgeable server! The food was all excellent and well made. We're chefs by trade and know when a restaurant has actual good food and this place has it. The ambiance was unmatched, especially for a place being in Ozark (you'd be hard-pressed to find a better-looking restaurant in Springfield). We'll be back for sure.“

“The service here is always great, and I love the interior! Plus you get a fantastic view of the river from almost anywhere you sit if it's not crowded. Everything we've eaten there has been fantastic! Except for those ravioli...it's not bad, just strange and the portion is a bit small in my opinion. Steer clear of that and you'll be pleased!“

“It's a casual place, easy going and serve at a casual pace. They serve burgers, wings and steak if you choose. The people are friendly. There are times I go to eat really good, unique food items. Other times I go out to talk, spend time with friends and eat a meal. This is a place to go with friends, eat and chat. “I absolutely love coming here to eat! I just ate there last night and my server Hope was by far the best there ever was. From greeting me almost immediately to greatly timed check ins and fast with the check there isn’t a thing I wouldn’t change! She was so nice and never seemed once bothered by me being there! With this experience added to my last server Mya being exactly the same I don’t think I’ll ever dine at a different big whiskeys! Whoever is in charge of these women’s pay needs to give them a raise! 10 out of 5 stars!“

“Brosef, this place is the bomb. The food here is so good. Ngl, I did not have high hopes. Idk why, I just had a secret sus yk. But bruvna, when I walked in and saw everyones food, I started to drool bruh. I got the wings and they are no joke some of the best wings I have ever tried. It can get a little loud, especially when the Chiefs are playing (Go ATL HAWKS!). But on any other day, it is such a good atmosphere. 9/10 would big whiskeys again!“
