Went to Foo's because my girlfriend went when she was growing up. We got to meet Betty, Foo's sister who took over the shop and seems to be the mayor of Brookside (she formally welcomed us to her neighborhood). It was so warm and welcoming.
When we asked about flavors, it was sweet to hear her describe the flavors of the people who they were named after.
The frozen custard was delicious, accurate to description and fun. Flavors ranged from the standard to obvious unique. Sizes are appropriate (I feel like nowadays I need to ask for an infant portion), prices are fair. 10/10 feels lucky to have gone and met this gem.“

“Finally found a time that they weren't that busy. I never knew there isn't a speaker at the menu. We almost pulled up to the window and then out popped a young guy who took our order. Once we placed our order it went fast. It was a little slow before we got to the window with 2 cars ahead of us. Our concrete were delicious. Although one of them was a little melty as soon as we got it and it made a mess in the car.“

“Great ice cream and a fun experience. They mix the toppings into the ice cream as you watch. It's really fun to watch. The prices are pretty high otherwise I'd rate higher. The ice cream tastes great and they have lots of choices. You can get samples in case you're not sure what it would taste like. They have pre made recipes or you can make your own. There are a few tables if you want to eat there.“

I love this place but they were a little lacking on the COVID restrictions tonight. No mask and people were picking their own toppings from under the barrier! Maybe they ran out of mask but we shall see. Still, it's the best place in the area for frozen yogurt.“

“My family loves the ice cream at this place, they have so many different things to try. We have to step out on faith to try them because no one speaks enough English to explain! But it doesn't matter the language barrier makes this a fun place to really try new things.“

My daughter and I had a difficult time deciding which was our favorite because they were all so delicious! I also ordered the chocolate chip cookies which were also amazing. “Shout out to Barbara, she is just a wonderful person and good at what she does. We had the privilege of attending a fire works demo in Lawson and my kids spotted the ice cream van and Barbara just made it easy for the kids to pick what they wanted because there are so many choices! “The atmosphere was so so pretty it had pretty colors all over and cute little ice cream cones on the wall and more, there was also so so many different flavors of ice and food. The food was amazing and big for the price, the people were really sweet and ofc not the best with English but there was no problem for us asking for stuff, do not trust the people complaining for no reason, they were not racist my family is all white, mom and 2 kids lol. The only problem is most the place was Spanish so I had to go online for the menu and the internet wasn't the best but other then that little thing everything was amazing ❤️🫶“
