“I had the red snapper which had the perfect amount of spice and was correctly cooked. Too often smaller fish are overcooked, but this was perfect. My husband had the sea bass which was also perfect. Corn, which tasted fresh off the cob but I'm sure was frozen, was just super delicious and crisp. Our server, Layla was one of the most pleasant and efficient servers we've had. She knew exactly how much time to spend at each table sono table was neglected. We made another reservation later this week and asked for Layla.“

“I just moved to downtown Kansas City and decided to try this cute little bagel shop. I was overly delighted when I took a bite of the everything bagel! It had a nice, chewy texture. “I brought a friend here for lunch to celebrate his birthday on a Monday afternoon. The table was decorated and there was a sweet “Happy Birthday” note waiting for him.

Our server, Janszen, was absolutely top-tier. Attentive without hovering, warm, professional, and perfectly timed the entire meal. The kind of service that makes you relax and just enjoy yourself.

We both ordered the 14oz KC Strip with Sam’s Mashed Potatoes, and wow! The steaks were cooked to absolute perfection, beautifully seasoned, juicy, and exactly as ordered. The mashed potatoes were rich, creamy, and indulgent in the best way.

And the strawberry (I don't like cherry's, lol) on top, even though it wasn’t my birthday, they surprised us by bringing each of us our own dessert. No sharing required. A small gesture, but it made the experience feel extra generous and celebratory.

From the food to the service to the little birthday details, everything was flawless. This is how you do hospitality. We’ll absolutely be back.“

The staff were incredibly friendly, restaurant was clean, and the food was piping hot when served to our large group. The seafood boil, catfish, and hush puppies were a huge hit. “The first thing I tried was the barria quesadilla and it was so good I almost forgot to take a pic LOL. I also had the Thai fried chicken if you like sweet chili wings you’ll love this taco. The slaw has a mild flavor. The steak taco was cold and I’m not a fan of shrimp tacos. The chicken taquitos were awful too much bread for me. The cheesecake chimi has a nice presentation. It would be delicious without the filling. The filing was a bit gritty and clumpy. Other than they food the location was very clean and employee were very friendly and helpful. I will be returning to try new items off the menu!“

“The food was delicious, but I really wanted to make a point to leave a review about our server. From the very beginning, Tayla was attentive and kind. She made sure to give great descriptions of the food, but the real icing on the cake was how much she went above and beyond. We brought in a cake from the bakery, and the host offered to keep it in the fridge for us. Tayla brought out the cake for us to take pictures and sing happy birthday, and then took it to the back to cut it. The cake was butterfly themed, and she cut out my mom's piece to look like a butterfly. We cannot recommend this restaurant enough, but highly recommend asking for Tayla.“

“We stopped by here before seeing a show at The Music Hall. It was great because it was within walking distance and we could make a reservation. I have been to the Drum Room countless times and had no idea about the restaurant in the hotel! We decided to split the grilled peach salad, the fried goat cheese salad and a side of fries. These salads were so good! I feel like you don't often hear people rave about salads after visiting a restaurant but these were both great. I would totally order them again. Our waitress was super nice and even let us know right when we sat down that they were short staffed and that she was also helping with room service. I always appreciate when staff is up front about situations like that because it helps customers understand and manage expectations. Our drinks were rather strong and we both had a hard time finishing them, but overall we had a good experience!“

“excellent food! Some of the best Chinese takeout I’ve had in this area. They have a different take on the pork fried rice. It’s not roast pork. They cook the pork differently, giving the rice a altogether improved flavor. I went basic with the chicken wings and they are to die for. This place is a hidden gem.“

“This is a historical restaurant you should visit for the experience! Amazing it's reopened and appears to be doing quite well! Our special occasion was celebrated with friends and family and reservations well in advance! Thank goodness we took the time to do so! The atmosphere is one of the best around, which set the tone for our night! Our drinks were wonderful and taste to perfection! Our steaks were all different cuts, and 4 of the 7 were pretty tough, and kinda disappointing! We dealt with it and never complained or let it hinder our evening! The flavors were good for the food! The escargot appetizers were the best we'd ever had! Our entire group was overly impressed! In addition, the members of our group that had never tried escargot was filling up on the delicacies! Great choice! Parking can be a bit of a challenge with apartment buildings all around, and a half lit lot! We'd definitely visit again to give it another try and enjoy out evening out! “One of the nicest self serve car washes I’ve been to. There’s places to hang your mats to spray them and all of the water soap brushes and everything are always in excellent condition. They keep it very clean. One time I accidentally left my mats hanging and came back a couple hours later and they were laying out in the front waiting for me. Very well run.“
