“I used to work for stables. And I am proud to say that. Manager, Linda Clark, and manager Morgan Ward are one of the best managers you’ll find. Unfortunately I quit due to me going to college. If I wasn’t going to college, you bet I would stay there. I believe that there’s not many restaurants like stables anymore. Everybody is just kind of jerks. However, a lot of the time working there put a smile on my face. I was a dishwasher. However, there were times where I could help out everybody. There were times where the servers were so packed up that they couldn’t bust their own tables. Not their fault at all. Each and every one of those servers are amazing. And it’s not a big deal to help them anyway. I won hundred percent. I’m going to continue to eat there. And you guys should too. Because you thought it was necessary to write and post such a childish and scathing review of your horrible experience at this establishment that clearly has It out for you and your family blah blah blah. “We were passing thru and staying at Best Western Premier. The desk clerk recommended Conrad’s! We went there and so glad we did! Claire was our waitress and she was amazing! Hubby has allergies and she went back twice to make sure he was ok!! We shared the Blue Chips appetizer…with a couple cold ones. OMG….they were soooo good! We had regular BBQ sauce instead of Buffalo. Amazing! And you get so much!! Definitely enough to share! Then we both ordered the grilled chicken wrap with ranch dressing. That also was so very good! I brought 1/2 of mine back to motel for breakfast in the morning. For a side I had steamed broccoli which was excellent. Hubby had the mixed vegetables. It is a casual but nice place!! Claire was awesome and so was the food!“

“I recommend the restaurant and the staff. But the short haired manager with glasses makes the dining experience awkward for her team and uncomfortable for the patrons. Don’t berate your team, lady. But if you must, don’t shout it across the room. We eat here a lot and the staff is wonderful. Maybe she’s the common denominator among the problems she perceives.“

“The Landing in Liberty is a great spot to catch a game, grab a beer, and enjoy some genuinely good food. They've got TVs everywhere, usually with a good variety of games on, so you're not stuck watching whatever happens to be on the one screen in front of you.

Most of the seating is high-top tables, although they do have a few regular tables and booths if that's more your preference. The covered outdoor seating is a nice bonus, especially since it has its own bar.

What really sets The Landing apart from a lot of other sports bars, though, is the food. It's actually good food, not the same generic, microwaved stuff you run into at too many places. You can tell there's a little more effort going into what's coming out of the kitchen.

Definitely a solid place to watch some sports, enjoy a meal, and spend a couple of hours.“

“Great all around. My green curry with seafood was full of tender shrimp and scallops. I asked for medium hot and it was exactly that. The crab Rangoon and potstickers were good, too. Service was quick and even the napkins (heavy, not the cheap type you often get) and the solid silverware were waaay better than expected. We will be back!“

“Our server was amazing! He waited for our 3 remaining people with no pressure on us. Our guests arrived, we ordered, food came and my daughter ended up with plastic in her bowl. We spoke to the manager who happened to check on us. He offered to replace it which we agreed to once the new food came out he checked on us again to make sure it was ok- it was. When the check arrived it turned out the bowl was removed from the tab which was an unexpected surprise. The service was great and made our family/friends visit smooth and comfortable.“

“I love my Wednesday morning treat. I’ve been ordering the same bagel for years. Whole wheat with veggie cream and it’s generally consistent. But over the last few weeks we’ve been having issues with the amount of cream cheese. Some days it’s the perfect amount that leaves you satisfied and some days you can see the bagel through the cream cheese. At over $6 for a bagel with a specialty cream cheese you hope to get a fair amount. Of course paying for extra doesn’t work because you have to save the bagel from the cream cheese ocean. We love this bagel shop and will keep coming. I hope they can work through the consistency issues.“

“It was busy when we went, but the service was great. We didn't have to wait long for food or drinks. They have Corona on tap, and the Margarita I had was nice and strong. Food was really good too. Their table salsa was ok, and not very spicy. However they have a spicy salsa if you ask for it.“

“Here’s aI recently visited Slim Chickens and had a pretty mixed experience. I always try to give places a fair shot, especially when they have a good reputation for fresh food and variety. I will say upfront — the food was fresh. You can tell it wasn’t sitting under a heat lamp all day. The chicken was hot, the fries were crisp, and everything came out in a reasonable amount of time. So credit where it’s due on freshness and speed of service.

However, the biggest issue for me was the lack of seasoning on the chicken itself. The chicken tasted like it was cooked plain, with no real seasoning or flavor in the breading. It felt like they rely heavily on their sauces to carry the flavor instead of properly seasoning the meat. Without sauce, the chicken is honestly pretty bland. It almost feels like you’re eating naked cooked chicken that’s just been fried and then covered in sauce afterward. If you’re someone who loves bold, well-seasoned chicken straight out of the fryer, this might disappoint you.

The sauces are definitely doing the heavy lifting here. Once you dip the chicken, it tastes better — but that shouldn’t be the only way the food has flavor. A good chicken spot should have seasoning built into the breading and the meat, not just depend on sauce options. If you forget to grab sauce or don’t use much of it, you’re left with something that tastes pretty plain.

The sides were decent. The fries were fresh and crispy, and the toast was okay. Nothing over-the-top amazing, but solid. The overall presentation was clean, and the restaurant itself was neat and organized. Staff was polite and the service was fine — no complaints there.

Overall, I’d say Slim Chickens is average. Fresh food and good sauce options, but the chicken itself needs better seasoning. If they stepped up the flavor in the breading and didn’t rely so much on sauce, it could easily be a much stronger spot. As it stands, it’s okay — just not something I’d crave unless I specifically wanted the sauces.

“Well, IHOP is back! They’ve got some new people and they’ve got new management and looks like they fix some of the things that were making the place look trashy. I came in to eat my favorite fajita omelette and all the fixings. Monica did a great job serving. My food came out picture perfect and tasted great. I am so glad IHOP is back in business at this location.“
