“I just discovered the beef Lo mein here and it’s the best in town! I have ordered it a few times this week (consistency), has been GREAT every time! Not a huge fan of the pork egg roll but the spring one is good! Plus the lady upfront seemed very pleasant!“

Got the Orange Chicken combo and a half order of beef lo mein-- $15 altogether for a lot of food

Orange chicken is well cooked and flavorful, with a very orange-forward sauce that goes well with the rice too. Also was surprised to find extra chicken under my rice for a pretty generous lunch portion at a great value-4stars

Egg Fried rice is fine, nothing special but also got the combination rice not a standalone full order. Could probably use a bit of onion to hold more flavor- 3.5 stars

Crab rangoons are very good, sweet and pretty cream cheesey. Well fried with a tasty wonton too - 4.5 stars

Beef lo mein is fine, a bit greasy without enough flavor to be really worth it, and the beef is a little too chewy- 3 stars

They were really busy for the lunch rush, so I can give them a little slack for that but still not ideal to wait 20 minutes for a to go order (on food that's already prepared) all of the staff were very nice though, seemingly family-run- - 4 stars for service

All in all a pretty solid strip-mall stop for local (americanized) Chinese food. The staff were certainly overloaded with online delivery or pickup orders, I saw about 10 of those get worked on while waiting for mine to get filled. Will likely try again, but will order ahead online.“

Upon entry, one will be greeted by friendly and attentive staff and see a slew of patrons enjoying traditional cuisine in a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The quality of the food is fantastic and the spice and seasonings of the provided dishes are consistent, and really showcase the cuisinier here care about the culinary tastes of their dishes. Perfect for a lunch date or small dinner with the family. Plan for a wait during peak hours due to patron volumes, however the food and experience are truly worth a wait.“

“This was such a cute little family owned restaurant. While it looked like most people picked up for delivery, you can eat in and they give you paper plates. We ordered the popcorn chicken which had fried basil in it and it was so unexpected and delicious! My littles loved the stir fry noodles. Also unexpected was what they called Chicken Chili stir fry! The pork belly melted in our mouths!! Absolutely delicious. We will be back“

“We were very disappointed that the sauce which came with the steamed dumplings appetizer has been changed significantly. Is way too spicy. Even the meat on the Mongolian Beef was not as tasty. Also, we used to be able to get sweet and sour pork even though not on menu, but now can't. Whoever changed the menu's and recipes should reconsider to avoid reduction in business. Thanks.“

“NO vegetables in Shrimp St. Paul sandwich. Sweet & Sour Shrimp was 1 container of plain white rice, NO vegetables anywhere, the "shrimp" (2/3 plain fried breading & 1/3 shrimp) was NOT cooked in sweet & sour sauce, and packed separately. Quality is now abominable.“

“This is my favorite go to Chinese restaurant in St Louis!! All the dishes are sooo good, so good that I have to get 2-3 each time and have leftovers. My go to dishes are chicken n broccoli ( healthier), general tsos and the mei fun noodles Singapore style bc it has a little more pazazz with a light curry flavor!! The Mei fun Singapore style is a must try!!“

“Good food, kind of expensive. It's worth it for the place itself (clean, good decor) and was quick too. One dish is enough for one person (I was afraid it'd be too little). They also have good vegetarian options. Anyways, I'd reccomend the eggplant and dumplings!!!“

“Awesome! I got one of their combo meals for dinner. It was perfect, the food came in a solid plastic take out container with fried rice on the side. It came with 2 crab rangoons and a thing of sweet and sour soup. There was so much food it was enough for 2 meals, and only $8! The lady at the front was very nice and the food was ready quickly. I'll definitely be returning!“

“The BEST Chinese restaurant in Saint Louis. I cannot stress how clean the restaurant is and how great the food and service are. It is so hard to find a great Chinese sit down restaurant and this is the place. Fresh, delicious and always hot. I recommend this restaurant to everyone that I know. “We have loved PF Changs for years, but this location is not quite up to snuff (or the corporation has altered the recipe again...who knows). We always get the Singapore Street Noodles, and the dish was so salty that we found it distasteful; believe me, we don't eat a low-salt diet and don't mind strong seasoning. I recommend avoiding that item. We were traveling and didn't want to carry leftovers, so the only other item we had was the hot and sour soup, which was good.“

“Nothing fancy, just went for the meat and potatoes of it to test the water here (plain fried rice and 2 egg rolls). You can tell the fried rice wasn't cooked in years old oil like many other establishments, and the egg rolls tasted more like fresh veggies than anything. Again, nothing fancy, but for the amount of rice they gave me in a properly resealable container, and for the price, I'll give it 5 stars. Friendly and attentive staff at the front counter.“

“The service that I received was A1. The food was hot, fresh, and tasty. The St. Paul was probably the best I've ever had. The ingredients seemed very fresh and they sprinkled a little salt on top of the St. Paul patty which was a pleasant surprise for my taste buds. The hot braised chicken is good. The crab rangoon is really good. The fried rice isn't anything to brag about in my opinion though it's not bad by any means. It's a mix between the cities dark fried rice and the county's typical light colored rice. I'd probably opt for steamed white rice next time. My only complaint is that there was a man sitting inside asking everyone for money. He wasn't rude by any means but it made me uncomfortable. With all that said, I'd still go back because the food was really good overall.“

“I am a first time customer. The outside looks a little dingy, but don't let that keep you from trying it. In reading the reviews there are a handful of people that have had issues, but many have had a good experience. I had to do a double-take on the lunch menu prices. They are at pre-pandemic levels. In other words, this place is incredibly reasonable. I had the Kung Pao Chicken lunch to go. It was ready in minutes. The egg roll was crispy and hot. For basically $7+tax, try to find a freshly prepared lunch meal anywhere for that. I will be back. I highly recommend this place.“

“Oh my gosh this is my favorite pho spot it is very inexpensive especially for how much food you get. They definitely don’t scam you on the meat and broth is so so so good I feel like just get big hug when I eat this also I feel like the broth gets better every time.I personally recommend the steak pho but if you getting to go or just particular about texture of the meat get the flang on the side so when you plate it you then put the meat it so It’s not over cooked. 10/10 recommend“

The Chongqing spicy broth added a great but not overbearing heat, while the sweeter Sukiyaki style broth paired perfectly with the beef we received. The course came with a plentiful amount of vegetables and other sides, with complementary additional spices and flavorings. Perfect place to grab a warm meal in the winter, at a great spot.“

“first time coming to this place and wow. the food here was amazing even the fried rice which has peas and carrots in it. now for those who are local to St Louis know that peas and carrots don't typically go in Chop Suey fried rice but this place is the exception. besides the fried rice being phenomenal the roasted duck is delicious. but the star of the show was the pickled vegetables that came with the roasted duck. I am a person that absolutely hates cucumbers, but the way they pick up these cucumbers with the carrots was divine. I could have ate these things like grapes they were that delicious and I absolutely loath cucumbers. so all in all I give this place a solid 9.7 out of 10 rating scale.“

Vegetarian options: There's a selection of Tofu options, best tofu in St Louis it's amazingly crispy and takes to sauce really well. Beef and broccoli is also incredibly solid. Then of course fried rice, Lo Mein and if your lacto ova vegetarian there's the St Paul Sandwich.“
