“Love this restaurant! My boyfriend and I always get a sausage breakfast burrito and a chorizo breakfast burrito and it is always so good. It has hasbrowns, eggs, and plenty of cheese inside. Their green salsa is soooooo good🤤🤤 haven’t tried their lunch yet but I would love to very soon!“

“The fields were in rough shape when we were out here last. I generally like this park though, the staff is good, you can drink on premises, and the fields are generally in good shape. I can only say that it was likely all the flooding we had earlier in the month that might have contributed“

“We experienced a very enjoyable and affordable lunch on a Tuesday. Our waitstaff Cercy and Amber were friendly and the right level of attentive. The restraunt has recently introduced a ten dollar lunch menu, which had several nice choices and made it a very affordable lunch. My chicken nachos could have fed me two meals but I ate them all, delicious and a beautiful presentation. There is a lovely view, a outdoor bandstand and dining area. Bands on the weekends Daily specials Sundays thru Thursdays. Fun, interesting decor. A large separate bar area perfect for a party. Looking forward to lunching here again.“

“I love blacksheep but tonight my food was just not good and it was so disappointing because we usually never have any complaints. I got the loaded fries and they were not very good which getting them to go happens but the "pulled pork" was just huge chunks of extremely tough meat I could barely chew.“

“We went here for my wife’s birthday dinner. It is a very popular place and we enjoyed it and our server. Atmosphere was very friendly and so were the staff. My wife had the ribeye, broccoli with cheese and loaded baked potato. I don’t remember the last time that she ordered and eat a steak that size as well every thing else on her plate! Her steak was done as she requested. I had the top sirloin and half a rack of ribs, also baked potato and red beans with rice. It was delicious and perfect blend of each. We will be back for another dinner or lunch. The restaurant was so busy and so many places to sit, I didn’t want to impose on the guests to take more pictures.“

“I love this Culvers for dine-in. However, the people preparing drive-thru orders need to check their orders. I sat and waited quite sometime for my order, only to get home and see that there was no salad dressing for my chicken cashew salad. I had none at home. A dry salad is not that good. 🙁“

“Food is always consistent, but the best thing they have going is their service. Emmaline waits on me often and does an absolutely fantastic job. She’s the type of server that almost reads your mind and brings you what you need before you even ask. Great service each and every time I visit by Emmaline.“

“First time going to the Grotto and was not disappointed. They have burgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, tacos, and appetizers. When you walk in the menu board is on the left, you look over it, and then order and pay at the register. The only negative that I have is that they try to pressure you into providing a tip immediately by having the tip screen pop up before you can pay. The only service they provide is bringing you your order. You get your own drinks, silverware, condiments, napkins, and refills so I am not sure why they ask for a tip. Anyway, the food was great. My wife ordered the grilled chicken meal with two sides. She got the side salad and sweet potato fries. She loved everything about it. The chicken was moist, the fries crunchy, and salad wonderfully seasoned. I ordered the Swiss burger and fries. The fries were hot and crispy and the burger was delicious with the house made aioli sauce. The only issue was that the burger was a tad dry, but not enough to say it wasn't delicious. We also ordered the chips and caso appetizer which was really good with the caso having a nice kick to it. Would return to try something else.

I went out there after no one showed up there after a couple hours (brunette bartender had no answers, thought I was being rude asking about it being open, so had an attitude, said “well, you can go out there but you won’t have service.” Great attitude, right? Ginger bartender and server Faith made up for it. Those two were great.“

“This place is pretty amazing. The food is great, and it comes out pretty fast, but often times there is only one or two people working there, and they have to tend to the bar also. The atmosphere can be good and can be bad. Normally there are just a lot of old people hanging and playing poker or some other old person game. I would check this place out if you’re in town for sure though!

Parking: The parking is weird, it is very hidden at first along with the restaurant itself, and one time a Sherwin Whilliams semi full of paint jackknifed and we had to go off-road to get out.“

“I was in town with my husband and kids. we chose this restaurant due to the amazing reviews and thought it would be kid friendly. Unfortunately we had a HORRIBLE experience due to the shift lead/manager on duty. First our meals all came out at different times. The two kids meals came out after we had ordered 15+ min, then 15+ min later mine, and then 10+ min after that my husband's and other daughter's was how we finally all got food. I will say the rest of my family was pleased with their food. they said it was hot and tasty. However, my burger came out cold. the bun seemed like it had just been pulled out of the fridge, my burger cold and hard, cheese unmelted, and the cast iron dish it came in was room temp. When the worker came to bring my husband and daughter's food I did complain because it was inedible. This person (she claimed.to be the shift lead/manager on duty) immediately got defense that there was no way it was cold, it has been on the grill for 20 min. I told her it was (and with her attitude) I said I wanted a refund. She informed me that it was company policy they did not give refunds, and she could give me loyalty points. I told her I was from out of town and that would not help. At this point she wasn't just being defensive, she was also being just flat out rude and snotty telling me it wasn't her fault. She offered to make me some Mac n cheese instead, and I informed her that I was diabetic thus ordering the burger. I asked her to at least have it remade. She told me NO that it would be the same. I asked for a manager and she informed me she was the shift lead/manager on duty and the only one I could talk to. I asked for the corporate number and she told me they were not corporate. I then asked for the owner, and she said she couldn't give me the number. I admit at that point I was irate. She was defensive, rude, and just out right nasty to me. I want to know what happened to customer service. I have done good service, customer service, sales, and management most of my life. I have never been spoken to/treated so horribly by a restaurant worker none the less a "manager." I finally had enough and stated that if she would do nothing then I would call my bank and have our $70 charge reversed since I did not get actual edible food (this included a tip btw). She said fine and stomped off. I proceeded to contact my bank. In that time she must have called the owner or a manager above her because I heard her complaining about me to someone on the phone right behind me. She did get me a refund and came over and slammed it on the table next to me staying "here is your refund." She then turned and stomped off without another word to me. Needless to say I will NEVER go to a MacCheesey again ever no matter where I travel. They seem to not care about their customers or how the staff treats them if the owners allow such behavior from their employees and refuse to speak with customers.“

“I don’t recommend this place at all! Worked here back in 2013 on the restaurant side and for no reason (or should I say some bs reason), banned my husband from coming in there. He didn’t come in when I was working nor did he ever cause any trouble when he did come in. The owner at the time and the other employees just didn’t like him. That tells me a lot about little towns. Food back then wasn’t even all that great! Haven’t been back since I quit and will never go back there! I hit no on do you recommend but it says that I recommend this place. Not going to the trouble to redo my post!“
