Drive through only. I appreciate that. This is probably the best Chinese food I've ever had. The orange chicken is top notch. The chicken is good quality, no gristle pieces that usually come in Chinese food. The rice is so flavorful, it's even a yellowish color like it's cooked in something. My new favorite spot.“

Their food is the best Chinese I have tried in Kansas City, I just try a new one shrimps Pa Thai all you have to do is squeeze de lemon juice all over the food and mixed alone with the crunchy peanuts and enjoy it. “Excellent. It's been difficult finding affordable but also good Asian food North of the River. This is it. It isn't a gourmet restaurant, but most of us just want to eat out now and then, or order in, which is what we did. That shouldn't mean bad food or high prices. They have us covered! We had the Garden Vegetable Soup, Barbecue Pork, Kid's Chicken Hawaiian. All was delicious.“

“I am straight up addicted to foods from the Orient and have tried most buffets in the KC metro. One can generally rate how the entire buffet will be by the quality of the sushi and pot stickers/dumplings. They were both on point here as was the rest of the buffet. Great selection and quality. I personally find this one to be an extremely close second place to my #1 Joy Wok. If you like the ginger sauce that accompanies the dumplings and you like sushi 🍣, try dipping your sushi in the ginger sauce with a dab of wasabi. Delicious! Great Buffet with great service!!“

Amazing dishes from beef, pork, chicken & seafood with fresh vegetables or combinations of whatever. Still the same consistency in every dish and great service. Hot fresh and delicious Asian food at its best.

Parking: Easy parking and a few handicap spots. Easy ramp accessible.

Kid-friendliness: Selected kid friendly dishes that aren’t spicy and chicken battered deep fried pieces that are like nuggets, and other stuff not in sauces.

Wheelchair accessibility: Parking handicap ramp close to door several parking spots to choose from. Wide opening by entry door and several tables to handle a wheelchair.“

“Wow! We have eaten here many times and been very delighted with the food. Today however was a different story. This is the first time we have ever ordered on a Sunday. Maybe the lower quality was because they were trying to use up food because they are closed tomorrow? We ordered general's chicken chicken lo mein and egg rolls. The egg rolls were obviously reheated in the microwave and so chewy that we could not even invite them. The chicken lo mein was awful. I guess the low main part was okay but the chicken tasted like chicken that had been in someone's refrigerator for three or four days and been reheated. Although the general's chicken the chicken was good, you could not even bite through the onions and the broccoli was hard as a rock. Because we have had good prior experiences I will try to order here again but maybe not on a sunday?“

“Absolutely fire Chinese place - I bet they make a killing in takeout. All of the food options we got were largely portioned, well priced, and quite tasty.

Our server was very nice and checked in often to see if we needed anything. I’m sure one day, they could brush up their interiors, but we all know that we come for the food, not the seating arrangements.

“I have been ordering delivery from Lao Peking for years. Their food is delicious, and I've never had anything that wasn't delicious. Some of my favorites are the egg rolls, chicken on a stick, which taste amazing, and are so tender. Their egg drop soup is the best I've ever had, and they have great steamed dumplings, with delicious dipping sauce, that I could drink on its own. But my absolute favorite is their combination egg foo young. The egg cakes are fried, and done to perfection, with a flavorful, delicate brown sauce, and tender meat, with large shrimp, that are also done to perfection. I've never eaten inside, but I would recommend trying this excellent restaurant, to anyone who loves Chinese food. I order delivery from them, at least twice a month.“

“Walked in to grab a take-out order for lunch. Had a good experience. I ordered fried shrimp, spring rolls, and crab rangoon. It took 10 minutes, very quick service, which was perfect because I had to get back to work. The spring rolls came with 4, 6 crab rangoon, and 8 pieces of fried shrimp, which by the way, happens to be awesome with sweet and sour sauce!

Everything was fresh, nicely packaged, and the young lady gave me 6 fortune cookies……I didn’t have to ask more; that was dope, I almost always want more than one.

The food was ready when they said it would be. We ordered twice cooked pork, General Tso's chicken, beef with green peppers, shrimp with broccoli, chicken with cashew nuts, spring rolls, large hot and sour soup, crab rangoon, steamed dumplings, combo fried rice, and chicken fried rice (no carrots or peas). The crispy exterior and tender chicken, combined with the heat of the jalapeños, create an unforgettable flavor profile. It's a generous portion that easily feeds our whole family. (It's not that spicy!) While it's a bit pricier, it easily feeds our whole family.

Their lunch specials are fantastic value, with huge entrees and a choice of egg rolls or crab rangoons. The Szechuan Chicken is a family favorite, and the Cashew Chicken has a delightful smoky taste. The lunch menu offers a variety of dishes, with some standout favorites and others that didn't quite hit the mark.

The only downside is that we don't live closer! This place is our go-to for fast, delicious Chinese takeout.“
