“I’m writing this review specifically for the incredible woman working today (10/4/25 at 12:23pm) at this location. She was singlehandedly running the front counter and drive-thru with a line nearly out the door. Despite being the only employee on shift, she kept a positive attitude and worked with impressive speed and efficiency in what had to be an overwhelming situation. She truly went above and beyond, and absolutely deserves recognition—a raise, a promotion, something!“

“Even though it was $1.00 sub day, the line went "FREAKY FAST". Our sandwiches were ready before we were done paying- and I even paid in cash!!“

“Awruff! Bay Boy Sandwiches at the Commons! Where even to start! Tail-Wagging fun from the moment I walked it! Sports games, arcade games, lawn games, and skeeball! This place has it all! 🏈 🎯 🕹️I got a mouth-watering sandwich, The Bandit! Roast beef, smokey cheddar, red onion, raspberry jam and horseradish all on a delicious Dutch crunch roll! 🐶💚🥪 The atmosphere was high-energy and just felt less like strangers, and more like your own pack. “Long time customer enjoy the knackwurst but the order today has a different texture. Instead of being dense and firm, it is loose and soft. May be a one off, as this is first time in 20 years for such a change. Hope the recipe was not changed to keep the price down as the knackwurst today does not reflect the legacy. “This is one of the quickest places I’ve ever ordered food at. They do NOT play around. We came on opening day for the Royals and even though they were busy, they took care of us quickly and were super kind and friendly as well. Thank you SO much!!“

“I write a lot of reviews, give credit where due and suggestions for improvement as needed. Visited this store 02/04/26 for lunch (not from the area), upon entering appears there is some remodeling going on...we not going on but maybe started a while back and never finished. Seating very limited and tables dirty. The staff was prompt and friendly, the sandwich bread was fresh. I did notice when they were slicing the meat (Penny Club) they were so thin you could read a newspaper through them. That needs a little work, cheese is pre sliced (to speed up orders I'm sure). The toppings were fresh and it was a really good sandwich, exactly as I hoped and with the same continuity as other locations which is great. The cookies are meh, not sure the age but still soft and chewy in the middle. (Pro tip: get cookies from the back of the stack, fresher). Asked for a water cup but after several attempts at the water dispenser all I could get was pink water as it shared the same tap as the Fruit Punch. Seriously after filling and dumping 6-7 cups I couldn't get the fruit punch out of the water.

After cleaning my own table (high-top by the door) it constantly wobbled. But back to the food, it was excellent, service was good, value for what I got, not so much, one slice was so thin only 1/2 of it made it off the slicer.

Goodcents everywhere went down hill and prices increased incredibly after all the local owners started selling their stores (I think they are all now owned by the same foreign family with only relatives working there). Work on slicing meats a little thicker and manage time to clean the lobby (and finish your remodel).

I would return the next time I'm passing though.

(The same family also owns the Blue Springs location which when Mr. Mirkowski sold it to them being assured the employees would still have a job, were all fired the next day and replaced with family of the new owners, Mr. Iqbal)“

“If you enjoy a healthy and less expense alternative to Jersey micks or sub way good cents is the place to go. I’ve been going semi often many times it’s three to two times a week and let me tell you based off other fast food experiences you might run into this good cents has none of that, the store smells amazing just when you walk in let alone actual bite and eat a sandwich or sub and the employees are very kind even opening the door for me one time (lol) anyway I recommend this place if you have a appetite for a sub sandwich and you won’t regret it.“

“The individual at the cashier was very helpful and polite. My order was supposed to be ready at 12:10p. I arrived right on time; however, the order was not ready. He immediately apologized (with a good attitude). A couple minutes later, he gave me my order, apologized again for been busy, and told me to have a nice day. When I arrived at my office (about 5 minutes later) my food was still warm. Overall, a great experience.“

“It was pouring rain the day that I visited. It was clear that I was walking, because I was soaked and carrying bags from the shopping I had done before stopping in. I asked for a bag with handles. The guy behind the counter asked me "why" instead of just giving me the bag. (Well because carrying a brown paper sack and my other bags in the rain isn't fun, that's why). That's the reason that the service only gets 3 stars. The sandwich was good though.“

I recently had to have all my teeth removed and eating is near impossible and they cut my sandwich up in smaller pieces for me so I could eat it easier. Convenient to order at a kiosk or with a person.
I got chicken wings lemon pepper not a strong flavor and cooked a bit to crispy but the buffalo Chipotle chicken was delicious.
Fries are alright.
Not to bad for the price was reasonable.“

“I go here about once a week. Two months or so ago I walked in and one of the workers - I don't know her name but she's almost always there during lunch hour - called me by name, which pleasantly surprised me. She may be one of the managers, I'm not sure.

While I'm there relatively frequently, and while remembering a regular customer's name used to be the norm, you don't get that a lot these days from anywhere. I appreciated the attention to detail and just the general customer service attitude. Sometimes it's the small things, not just the main product.“

“Very fast service. We ordered online and selected pick up asap while we was sitting in the parking lot. Maybe 5 mins, if that, later went inside and it was ready to go at the counter waiting for us to pay for it. It was worth every bit that paid for it too. Reasonably priced, u get alot for ur bucks. Very fresh and high quality ingredients. Very well made, looks like they took their time making it even tho it was made fast. I couldn't wait to go back n get another sandwich from them. So we did go back a couple days later n it was great again. Now whenever I've money to spend again I know where I want to go. I highly recommend to anyone who hasn't tried this place yet. On a side note, along with the great food, if you're not in a rush or have a few mins to spare, it's definitely worth to have a look around the inside of this place. “Staff has always been very prompt, pleasant and professional. We order online and have had nice looking sandwiches every time with a copious amount of toppings and sauce like we order and pay for and the orders are ready when I show up. Very clean and maintained shop.

My only knock is that Subway portions are not competitive with the industry. The sandwiches would be better if you standard put an extra few slices of meat and cheese. The customer always has to order double and ends up with a sandwich not worth the cost.“

“Passing through on business and had the black forest ham along with a couple of cookies. The sandwich was great, the nice thing about Subway is consistency, no mater where you are their sandwiches are very consistent. Service was polite and prompt, sorry I didn't get her name but she was friendly. some construction in the lobby so seating was limited.“

“I had been driving since 4 a.m. and initially I rolled into this area to get a green juice drink from Nektar, but I knew I needed to eat something more substantial as well. I was thrilled to see a Planet Sub because I hadn’t eaten there since I left AZ 2+ years ago.I was greeted by a friendly employee and ordered a half Beefeater, then saw they had loaded potato soup on the menu. Now, it’s way too hot for a thick cream-based soup, but you know I got it anyway. It was delicious and so was my sandwich. Perfect all around. Then I walked off about 15 of those calories & got my juice drink for dessert. Triple yum.“

“Bread was soft and fresh. I like the way the meat is folded in four so it gives the illusion of more meat. Pretty skimpy on the shredded cheese. Soda machine was actually clean. I don't like the arrangement of tables in this location.
