I treat it as a nice treat cause of the price 20$ for a whole sandwich chips and a fountain drink. The quality is second to none though. The two young gentlemen were quick and friendly with there service. So if you're in the area leave them a tip when you drop in.“

“I love kitties hamburgers, and have highly reviewed them in the past. I was really looking forward to today to one this Friday afternoon and I have memorized their hours.
Behold, they’re closed until the end of February. Was a very small faded cardboard sign on the door.
If they really cared about their customers, they’d have a big one that you could see from the street without having to park and walk um readable one .
And they would at least update their website.

“Stellar speed, great food, great people! The owner of a the restaurant personally made sure that they turned out a huge order for our group of 15. The sandwiches came so quickly, and the food was awesome! Super fresh with toasty freshly made bread. And the Owner plus staff were all really great, super nice people. “If you’re anywhere near 87th Street in Lenexa, near Westlake Hardware, you have to check out Lenny’s Sub Shop. The bread is made fresh daily, and you can really taste the difference—it’s soft, flavorful, and the perfect base for a seriously great sandwich. “I like Schlotzsky's; it a chain, so you likely know if you like it or not. So instead of the food--I like the Original, extra toasty--I want to review this particular establishment. I have been here many times. The restaurant is always clean. The staff is friendly and efficient. The food comes out quickly in the way that you ordered it. This is, quite simply, a well run franchise; if you like Schlotzsky's, you will like this store.“

“Had a coupon BOGO for the new store in Glenwood Plaza. Never ate at one. So tried it today. Had the Club Sub & Mikes Famous Philly. Wow...the Club Sub was huge! Very good, freshly sliced ham a& turkey, plenty of bacon. Dressed with lettuce, tomato, mayo, pickles & onions on wheat. Great sandwich! Huge! Great value for the $$$. Will eat that again! The Philly was decent. Ample shaved beef, grilled fresh, along with peppers and onions, and ample white american cheese for a good gooey to it. No added toppings. Had on the rosenary parm bread. Personally, I wish there would have been more peppers & onions on the sandwich. I should have asked for more, but didn't know if there would be an upcharge. Only downside IMO was red onions are better for sandwiches than white onions, and be nice to have a few more options on toppings, like maybe sliced bell peppers, and spinach as an alternative to the shredded lettuce. So, we will be back. Club Sub on my favorites list, but need to try the chicken philly & chicken bacon ranch philly. Got a couple coupons left in the postcard, $2 off order and 25% off order, so will use those. If anyone has an extra postcard mailer and don't like Jersey Mike's, IM me and I'll give you my address ..I'll take those coupons...lol... Overall, very pleased. And my 91 year old mother enjoyed both sammiches also, so that is very good! Try them out...I was very pleased...“

“Anyone living in a rural area that has never been to a planet sub, you need to go, trust me on this one. It's like home cooking but styled in a nice sub shop. The vibe between the food and service is what I like in a restaurant. The guy that served me was super cool, and helped me with everything since it was my first time. Im definitely coming back and recommending to more people for sure. Thank you to this store for setting a good standard with all Planet Sub location. :)

“I looked up sandwiches near me and this place popped up. It is inside the Morton Salt building in Corporate Woods! I ordered the Turkey Bacon Guacamole sandwich! It was delicious! “Cleanest, friendliest subway I have ever been to. We went in for a 3 pack of cookies and even after the older Indian gentleman saw we were paying in change (like a large amount of change), he still offered a 6 pack of cookies for $1 off and we gladly accepted. He was patient and understanding and so polite. I'm guessing he's one of the managers because even though he answered his phone while we were counting change, the other employee jumped in and helped us count the change. Just moved to town and already having the best experience. Thank you!

“Really great lunch spot! Love the delicious options and how hot and fresh everything was. The only reason I gave a 4 star is could be a little cleaner. It did take a little while to get our food even though we were one of the only orders they had in person it seemed but the food was hot and fresh so that made up for it. Definitely a splurge but worth it!

“Had a great experience today. Didn’t catch the employee’s name but he’s a taller guy with dreads. He was very personable and polite, changed his gloves between meat and veggie sandwiches, and was overall very nice. It was very clean as well.“

“The individual at the cashier was very helpful and polite. My order was supposed to be ready at 12:10p. I arrived right on time; however, the order was not ready. He immediately apologized (with a good attitude). A couple minutes later, he gave me my order, apologized again for been busy, and told me to have a nice day. “Experienced very poor customer service and uncaring attitude from manager Josh on 7-30-22. Haven’t used this location in a while because it was only consistent food and service when the manager Danny was working. After waiting 20 min for 1 piece of pie, to take to my mother, I requested a refund. The cashier refunded the purchase price but not the tip I added when I paid. He assumed I wouldn’t want the tip refunded too! He did correct the amount. They were not busy at all and the desserts are in a cooler under the front counter and do not come from the kitchen. It should have been given to me just like a tea is immediately after paying. Very sad there is no longer good customer service.“

My coworker and I visited this place yesterday and it made our day. The gentleman behind the counter was happy, personable, and just put a smile on everyone's face. I heard him call his regulars by their names. I heard him ask each person how their day was and it was said with genuine affection. He laughed, he smiled, and his good nature was contagious among everyone who he encountered. There aren't many places that have that kind of atmosphere anymore and to go into a business when you're on lunch and you are greeted with that kind of vibe, is rare. “I do enjoy Planet Sub. For the most part, I’ve had good service and good food.

However, I did want to share a few notes after a few of my more recent visits. I began ordering the Creamy Crab and adding guacamole. The first time I had it, it was one of the best sandwiches I ever had from the place. The guacamole was so fresh! I continued to order it.

I usually ask for it cold because I just felt it was better suited as a cold sandwich. There were three times that I ordered it cold and it was prepared hot. I still ate it and it was still good so I felt it was a little petty to complain. My wife double checked the app and we did order correctly.

However, I was a little more disappointed with today. I took a bite and I found it a little unappetizing. I opened it to see that the bacon was a little too well done. Very dark and crunchy. I didn’t like the taste so I took it off the sandwich. Also, the guacamole was brown. It was just such a letdown from the amazingly fresh guacamole that I had gotten used to.

Like I said, these are just some notes that I wanted to pass along. Planet Sub will continue to get my business. It’s not a dealbreaker. You can’t hit a home run every time. I’m also a fan of the Experience sandwich.“

They were very quick, kind and polite. I know how stressful orders close to closing are, I appreciate their patience!“
