If they really cared about their customers, they’d have a big one that you could see from the street without having to park and walk um readable one .
And they would at least update their website.

This place has it all! 🏈 🎯 🕹️I got a mouth-watering sandwich, The Bandit! Roast beef, smokey cheddar, red onion, raspberry jam and horseradish all on a delicious Dutch crunch roll! 🐶💚🥪 The atmosphere was high-energy and just felt less like strangers, and more like your own pack. “It was pouring rain the day that I visited. It was clear that I was walking, because I was soaked and carrying bags from the shopping I had done before stopping in. I asked for a bag with handles. The guy behind the counter asked me "why" instead of just giving me the bag. (Well because carrying a brown paper sack and my other bags in the rain isn't fun, that's why). That's the reason that the service only gets 3 stars. The sandwich was good though.“

“I ordered catering for a training event yesterday and arrived to find the food nicely packaged up and ready to go on time. There were no errors and the food tasted great and all enjoyed! The friendly staff even helped us load it up. Would definitely recommend Independence McAlister's!!!“

“Thanks to the folks at the cash register I was able to place my order. I stood in the spot where you order salads and the people working right in front of me avoided eye contact for about 5 min. I finally walked the the cash register where an employee walked over and basically made them take my order. Both cashiers were amazing but the guys on the salad making line get an unsatisfactory on customer service.“

“The individual at the cashier was very helpful and polite. My order was supposed to be ready at 12:10p. I arrived right on time; however, the order was not ready. He immediately apologized (with a good attitude). A couple minutes later, he gave me my order, apologized again for been busy, and told me to have a nice day. When I arrived at my office (about 5 minutes later) my food was still warm. Overall, a great experience.“

“Experienced very poor customer service and uncaring attitude from manager Josh on 7-30-22. Haven’t used this location in a while because it was only consistent food and service when the manager Danny was working. After waiting 20 min for 1 piece of pie, to take to my mother, I requested a refund. The cashier refunded the purchase price but not the tip I added when I paid. He assumed I wouldn’t want the tip refunded too! He did correct the amount. They were not busy at all and the desserts are in a cooler under the front counter and do not come from the kitchen. It should have been given to me just like a tea is immediately after paying. Very sad there is no longer good customer service.“

“Friendly staff and good food. Unfortunately this location hasn’t had updated equipment therefore they don’t have new menu items such as fries and certain soups. They are also down multiple steamers for sandwiches making it harder for the workers to do their job. Hopefully owners will update equipment making it better for their staff and customers.“

“The sandwiches were great, but I wanted to leave this review specifically about the cashier. I wish I had gotten his name, but he absolutely made my and my kids’ day. We came in to grab lunch on Saturday 2/7 and my young kids were both visibly sad and not having a great day. The cashier noticed this, paid for two cookies using his own money, and gave them to us. It was a small gesture but it meant the world to us and was one of those “restoring faith in humanity” moments. I could have cried just because of two cookies. “I had been driving since 4 a.m. and initially I rolled into this area to get a green juice drink from Nektar, but I knew I needed to eat something more substantial as well. I was thrilled to see a Planet Sub because I hadn’t eaten there since I left AZ 2+ years ago.I was greeted by a friendly employee and ordered a half Beefeater, then saw they had loaded potato soup on the menu. Now, it’s way too hot for a thick cream-based soup, but you know I got it anyway. It was delicious and so was my sandwich. Perfect all around. Then I walked off about 15 of those calories & got my juice drink for dessert. Triple yum.“
