“Wednesday night a little after 6pm and there was a bit of a rush for the 2 girls working. They were friendly, seemed to stay calm with more and more ppl coming in, and worked fast. Just find it odd that management feels the need to number their cups and limit the amount of napkins for customers. But those girls did great, keep up the great work.“

This place has it all! 🏈 🎯 🕹️I got a mouth-watering sandwich, The Bandit! Roast beef, smokey cheddar, red onion, raspberry jam and horseradish all on a delicious Dutch crunch roll! 🐶💚🥪 The atmosphere was high-energy and just felt less like strangers, and more like your own pack. “Cleanest, friendliest subway I have ever been to. We went in for a 3 pack of cookies and even after the older Indian gentleman saw we were paying in change (like a large amount of change), he still offered a 6 pack of cookies for $1 off and we gladly accepted. He was patient and understanding and so polite. I'm guessing he's one of the managers because even though he answered his phone while we were counting change, the other employee jumped in and helped us count the change. Just moved to town and already having the best experience. Thank you!

“Experienced very poor customer service and uncaring attitude from manager Josh on 7-30-22. Haven’t used this location in a while because it was only consistent food and service when the manager Danny was working. After waiting 20 min for 1 piece of pie, to take to my mother, I requested a refund. The cashier refunded the purchase price but not the tip I added when I paid. He assumed I wouldn’t want the tip refunded too! He did correct the amount. They were not busy at all and the desserts are in a cooler under the front counter and do not come from the kitchen. It should have been given to me just like a tea is immediately after paying. Very sad there is no longer good customer service.“

“I’ve been here a few times, food is always fantastic and the service is great. Today I ordered the gluten free bread but I’m not allergic to gluten. They still asked me if it was an allergy or preference and I said preference but they still changed all their gloves and knives which I thought was great, protocol was definitely there for someone who does have an allergy so 10/10 great job!“

“This is my favorite Mr. Goodcents sub shop. Even though it is a franchise store, the people who run the shop are very nice, and it feels like a neighborhood sandwich shop. If you’re in a hurry, you can order ahead and pick it up in a snap! 🫰“

“Really great lunch spot! Love the delicious options and how hot and fresh everything was. The only reason I gave a 4 star is could be a little cleaner. It did take a little while to get our food even though we were one of the only orders they had in person it seemed but the food was hot and fresh so that made up for it. Definitely a splurge but worth it!

We had the steak and bleu cheese sandwich and the Cobb wrap both with sweet potato fries.“

I’ve sat here for an hour and watched tables be cleared but never wiped or sanitized this can cause a health issue especially because other customers put dirty phones bags and other articles on tables. When i got to dining area i struggled to find an actual clean table top! I work in restaurants and this should be addressed.“

“It was pouring rain the day that I visited. It was clear that I was walking, because I was soaked and carrying bags from the shopping I had done before stopping in. I asked for a bag with handles. The guy behind the counter asked me "why" instead of just giving me the bag. (Well because carrying a brown paper sack and my other bags in the rain isn't fun, that's why). That's the reason that the service only gets 3 stars. The sandwich was good though.“

“I do enjoy Planet Sub. For the most part, I’ve had good service and good food.

However, I did want to share a few notes after a few of my more recent visits. I began ordering the Creamy Crab and adding guacamole. The first time I had it, it was one of the best sandwiches I ever had from the place. The guacamole was so fresh! I continued to order it.

I usually ask for it cold because I just felt it was better suited as a cold sandwich. There were three times that I ordered it cold and it was prepared hot. I still ate it and it was still good so I felt it was a little petty to complain. My wife double checked the app and we did order correctly.

However, I was a little more disappointed with today. I took a bite and I found it a little unappetizing. I opened it to see that the bacon was a little too well done. Very dark and crunchy. I didn’t like the taste so I took it off the sandwich. Also, the guacamole was brown. It was just such a letdown from the amazingly fresh guacamole that I had gotten used to.

Like I said, these are just some notes that I wanted to pass along. Planet Sub will continue to get my business. It’s not a dealbreaker. You can’t hit a home run every time. I’m also a fan of the Experience sandwich.“

“The individual at the cashier was very helpful and polite. My order was supposed to be ready at 12:10p. I arrived right on time; however, the order was not ready. He immediately apologized (with a good attitude). A couple minutes later, he gave me my order, apologized again for been busy, and told me to have a nice day. When I arrived at my office (about 5 minutes later) my food was still warm. Overall, a great experience.“

“I had an outstanding experience at this Subway location on N Noland Rd in Independence, MO! The store was clean, the food was fresh, and the service was fast—but what really made the visit exceptional was the manager, Brandi.
Brandi goes above and beyond to make sure every customer feels welcomed and taken care of. Her positive attitude, attention to detail, and leadership truly stand out. You can tell she takes pride in her work and sets a great example for the entire team. She made sure my order was perfect and even took the time to check in and make sure everything was just right.
It’s not often you come across customer service like this anymore. Brandi is a huge asset to this location, and because of her, I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this Subway if you want great food and even better service!“

“The sandwiches were great, but I wanted to leave this review specifically about the cashier. I wish I had gotten his name, but he absolutely made my and my kids’ day. We came in to grab lunch on Saturday 2/7 and my young kids were both visibly sad and not having a great day. The cashier noticed this, paid for two cookies using his own money, and gave them to us. It was a small gesture but it meant the world to us and was one of those “restoring faith in humanity” moments. I could have cried just because of two cookies. It was an excellent opportunity to talk to my kids about paying it forward as well. Thank you, kind cashier!!“
