“City Coffee House & Creperie is a great place to escape, the vibe is that of a hidden cafe. The food is always great, I love their lemon curd crepe, opted for the waffle this time to celebrate National Pancake Day (a waffle is just a pancake with cups to hold the syrup I’ve been told). “My family and I stopped in to kill some time and enjoyed a couple coffees, hot chocolate, and pastries. I enjoyed a Van Gogh’s Milky Way and my wife enjoyed her grasshopper. My son had a chocolate chip muffin and it was really good. Great atmosphere and friendly employees. Definitely putting it on my list of places to stop at when on this side of town.“

From the moment you walk in, the smell of freshly brewed coffee and tea is absolutely captivating—it’s the kind of aroma that makes you want to stay awhile. Their selection is truly unmatched in the area. I picked up Blueberry Cinnamon Crumble, Jamaican Me Crazy, Viennese Cinnamon, and Ginger Peach Tea, and each one has its own amazing flavor and aroma. Everything feels thoughtfully chosen and top quality. On top of that, I even found Slap Ya Mama Cajun seasoning (made by “Walker & Sons”). With my last name being Walker and two sons of my own, I couldn’t resist—it felt like it was meant for me. Sha’s isn’t just a coffee shop, it’s an experience. Great products, cozy atmosphere, and plenty of unique finds that make it stand out from anywhere else nearby. I highly recommend it to any coffee or tea lover!“

“Sugarwitch is a queer-owned business with a few rotating vegan options for their ice cream sandwiches. They serve drinks (coffee, tea, & specials) and also make custom ice cream cakes. Sugarwitch is frequently selling their sandwiches at Tower Grove’s Farmer’s Market as well as hosting/sponsoring other community events. They also gave me some free vegan peach almond “hexes” with my order once when I suggested expanding their vegan options in an online order. Updated from previous review on 2026-08-15“

When we walked in Josh was on it, made us feel we were “regulars”, like he new us personally and Stacey, the hostess that seated us, was equally as welcoming and we were seated promptly. I don’t believe we got our kind servers name, but the beautiful young lady was on it as well. The chefs/kitchen were on par as well, hubby had one of the eggs Benedict with a side of biscuit and gravy, I had the Ranchers beef salad, one of the best beef and blue cheese salads I’ve EVER had, and believe me, I’ve had a “few” 😋🤫😊 Hubs also loved the huge coffee mugs his coffee and my Kahluah/hot chocolate(yum on this damp chilly day)were served in…this where my only complaint would be, my mug was chipped along the rim 😅 All that said, it was just a fantastic way to start our Sunday. “We had one chance to stop for coffee and we chose Shaw's. DEFINITELY recommend. I had a dot cake latte which was limited for the weekend we visited and it was delicious! The line was very long but moved quickly, coffee served even quicker! We weren't able to snag an available table but were happy to take our coffee to go (and went antique shopping down the road)! It made a great combination and we will definitely be back on our next trip to STL.“

I feel like a know a thing or two about coffee and Course is a fantastic spot to enjoy a cup inside or outside. Everything on the menu is good but the best of the best is their cold brew. Coffee is pretty consistent (similar to the other locations) with seasonal drinks and house-made syrups.

I believe the food options are the same as well although I didn't try any at this location.

“It was my first time dining in. When I first walked in I was greeted and I noticed how clean it was. The server was very polite. The food was a ten star 💫 for me. I was just impressed with my entire experience and would definitely recommend Bar Roma to anyone that’s interested in the experience that I had. I will be dining in again!
