In town for business and stopped here today for lunch. At first since the line was long I almost left, but decided to stick it out. They were whipping through the line very fast for how busy it was! I got the lunch special mambo sciciliano sandwich with potato salad and let me tell you, it was one of the best meals I've had in a long time! The portions are massive, everything was fresh, and amazingly delicious. Please do yourself a favor and go!“

“Came here randomly for my birthday and I'm am very satisfied. There was a worker there to greet us and get our order. It didn't take long to decide what to get and it was ready and fresh very quickly. Ordered a beef sandwich with bacon and peppers and it was delicious, they cooked the bacon fresh. The chicken bacon ranch mac'n cheese bowl and the garlic cheese bread are both delicious and pair great together. The building is very clean on the inside. We will definitely be returning here.“

“Not a bad Chicken Club at all with thick juicy chunks of white chicken, plenty of imitation bacon bits and a good mix of lettuce and a small but flavorful Thousand Island and the Ravioli is nicely aldente' and sank in plenty of sauce. The service was great, even late, and the restaurant was in good shape. The price is what got to me. Honesty, I was kicking myself in the buttocks because it was $18 for this meal and no drink when, with all do respect, a can of Chef Boyardi and a Pre-Packed Deli salad would have been about $7 and basically the equivalent. I'm just saying. I do appreciate the work this crew does here but realistically it's pretty pricey. I didn't feel bad at all for sitting down with my own can drink.“

“Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop was located right next to my eye doctor, so my Mom and I decided to have lunch here. The staff were friendly and the owner was front and center, in front of the register. I chose the BLT and my Mom got the Homemade Turkey. I liked my BLT and my Mom enjoyed her Homemade Turkey, but she noted that the turkey was a bit too dry for her tasting. The bread was super good but almost a bit too filling since it’s a soft white bread. We would come back though because it was somewhat affordable and very clean inside.“

“We love their loaded sub! I raved about it so much that my husband decided to try it, which is completely out of the norm. Now, we travel from about 20 miles away just for these great sandwiches! I should tell you I'm not a huge sandwich fan, so this says a lot. The bagels are fantastic also, and I am a very particular about needing chewy bagels. The carrot cake cheesecake was also excellent, but it truly is not cheesecake. it is simply carrot cake but it's very good!“

“I was in the area on an errand and got hungry. Used HappyCow and found Fozzie’s was close by. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Their menu is broad. The ambience of the restaurant was eclectic and clean. I chose to sit inside and eat while looking out the very clean windows. Staff was friendly and the food was piping hot! So hot I picked up a french fry and quickly had to put it down because it was hot but that’s a good thing! It was a joy to hear kitchen staff cutting items to make orders. ““Voted the best gyro in STL“ and we had to stop by. Not going to be saying it’s the best in STL, but may stand a chance to be in our top 5. The service is friendly, generous, and lets you pick a tiny packet of chips to go with your order.

The sauce is a giant tub and despite that the person at the counter said it maybe small but will suffice. I loaded it up on my sandwich and still had a half left. The sauce is massive people. It isn’t tzatziki made of yogurt and cucumbers but has mayo mixed in it. It wasn’t savory, but almost very sweet tasting. Still can’t pinpoint what was in it, but it was different and tasty.

The gyro meat was premade hopefully on a spit. They only had to reheat it on a griddle. It was tender, juicy, but lacked the flavor of a gyro. The seasoning was tasty, but given that it was being reheated may have been the reason for its missing flavor. It’s huge and will easily fill you up. My partner and I split it and didn’t even reach for the packet of chips. Yes, we did have our home made salad on the side. Give this place a shot, it’s better than the other Americanized versions of Middle East cuisine.“

“The server was down for most of the St.Louis locations and the pickup order I thought I had placed using a gift card didn't go through, so it wasn't ready when I got there. They tried to work with me and Amanda patiently tried to get it all entered for me, but it wouldn't go through correctly. The manager made it right by taking care of the bill and letting me know that they want my business and knew I had been waiting and had ordered it through the app. Amanda later came back to my table to check on me. “On 6-2-26 around 11:00 am I had a great experience at the Subway on Hampton Avenue. The two ladies who helped me were friendly, welcoming, and greeted me as soon as I walked in. Their positive attitude made the visit even better. I ordered a tuna sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious—the bomb! Everything was fresh, made just right, and tasted great. Excellent customer service and a great meal. I'll definitely be back!

“We recently used McAlister’s catering for a luncheon at the Bridgeton Recreation Center, and overall, we were very happy with the experience.

I had to call the 800 number to place the order, but it was surprisingly easy to get through to someone and get everything set up. We were tax-exempt, and that process was also very simple. I just had to send an email with the information, they sent us an invoice, and then we called to make the payment. Easy peasy!

We requested delivery for 10:45 a.m. and they were about five minutes late, which was enough of a delay that I went ahead and called to check on the order. Thankfully, the driver arrived shortly afterward. The delivery itself was a little chaotic, though. The driver was in a personal vehicle, and when she opened the trunk, a few of the lunch bags fell onto the ground. We had several people arriving at the same time, so we all grabbed a bag and helped get everything inside.

I will say that the bags did smell a little bit like smoke, which wasn’t ideal, but thankfully the food itself was fine.

The lunches were delicious! We ordered club sandwiches with chips, a cookie, and of course, a pickle. I also really appreciated that the vegetarian and gluten-free meals were clearly marked, which made it very easy to get the right meals to the right people without having to open everything up and figure it out.

Aside from the slightly late delivery and the delivery mishap, everything went smoothly. The ordering and payment process was easy, the food was tasty, and the special dietary meals were clearly labeled.

We would definitely use McAlister’s catering again for another luncheon. Hopefully next time the delivery is a little less eventful!“

“Had an amazing experience at Penn Station Subs! The staff was super friendly and accommodating from the moment we walked in. One employee mentioned he’s been making subs for 20 years, and it truly showed in the quality and care put into our food. Everything was made fresh to order, the subs were absolutely delicious, the fries were hot and perfectly cooked, and the lemonade tasted fresh and refreshing. The cookies were soft, fresh, and amazing as well!

We originally planned to take our food to go, but the service was so welcoming and enjoyable that we decided to dine in instead. Overall, this was a fantastic experience and definitely one of the best sandwich spots around. Would absolutely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!“

“I was lucky enough to have Destiny make my sandwich today(Turkey Bacon Ranch). I did not realize how lucky I was until I started eating. Outside of my son being born, eating that sandwich was probably the ten best minutes of my life! Everything about the sandwich was perfect, from the amount of lettuce, cheese, sauce, and bread, the ratio of every ingredient was perfect! When you go make sure that DESTINY is there to make your sandwich!“

“The food and service were just fine when I went for the first time. The meatball marinara sub I opted for was just filling enough, AND tasted great topped with tomato, lettuce, provolone cheese, onions, green peppers, banana peppers, and Southwest chipotle sauce on Italian herb and cheese bread, slightly toasted. The cheese was just melted enough to give it a real pizza like texture and taste. Another favorite submarine sandwich I really like here is the Spicy Italian. Either way, they're always topped with plenty of meat and cheese! The chocolate chip and white macadamia nut cookies are really tasty. A foot long sub combo is more than enough for me to eat in one meal so I save half my sandwich for a snack later in the day. And the employees always seem friendly and do a great job making my sandwiches.
