My husband was recently sent up here to the hospital from Joplin and as soon as we found out he could eat I knew right were he was going to send me to pick up food. “Indian vegan cuisine with a twist, family owned that started in 2013 as a 100% vegetarian Indian food truck. The restaurant sits 20 tables Indoor & some outdoor seating. This was our first visit to Bombay food junkies (BFJ) and the hype is real. Highly recommend for anyone seeking an alternative option or a meal that will knock your socks off. The menu price(s) for 4 course(s) of tasty sides, mains, drinks & desserts all house/homemade was exceptional. Each dish & side were seasoned to the bone no pun intended. Overall, as a party of (5), we were extremely satisfied with food & most importantly the customer service / hospitality of the staff. We give this experience a 5 out of 5. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!“

“You have to get in sooooo fast to get any bread, and as a non morning person, this rarely happens for me, but their bread is so delicious if you can score a loaf! I also love their salad. I've tried to get their sandwiches but they're always out of everything I want to order so I haven't had a chance to try it yet. “Service was excellent, gentleman at the bar was very knowledgeable and friendly. food came super fast, we both got their signature breakfast sandwich wich was delish however for $13 i was shocked it was on regular bread. looked very basic for the price. i also felt like their drinks came in the smallest size cups for adults you had to get two maybe even 3 to make it through your meal and the refills arent free. overall, it was a good experience glad we went.“

“none of yhe tables were cleaned off, we had to do it ourselves. Thats unusual for this place. Our tofu nug order had weird grey grease on several pieces, bitter and inedible. Weird! Sushi burrito was delicious, but wrapped weird, food kept falling out of it.“

Jim Fiala and his team hits it out of the park in every way. 3 courses paired with wine and each spot on. Last time there we brought our own wine as it was a special bottle. No problem as long as it wasn't on their list and the wine cellar is extensive. If you want an extraordinary dining experience please go.“

I'm not sure if there was even a burger patty provided. what was om the sandwich was an over abundance of mayo and mustard like I guess I ordered a mustard and mayo sandwich. It was messy made the bun soggy and just all around gross. I was going to bring all my kidd back to eat and will NEVER EAR HERE AGAIN. A REFUND IS WANTED. 27 DOLLARS FOR 2 BURGERS 2 DRINKS AND 1 FRY AND THE PLAIN CHEESEBURGWR HAD ONIONS ON IT WASNT SUPPOSE TO. “We wanted Italian food and we decided to go on the hill to Zia‘s. We ordered pasta dishes, which was extremely nice portion size. The bread was delicious when you dip it in olive oil. I also had the French martini which was delicious. I think if you have a taste for Italian food pasta, you couldn’t find a better place.“

“I finally made it and really it’s worth 100 stars , The chicken salad is probably the best salad in Stl , everything about it is perfect , chicken soo good , lettuce chopped with tons of parsley, all ingredients top notch and the dressing is excellent. I had the spinach pie for dinner and it is heaven . I’ve already planned on nesting 2 sets of ppl there! Can’t wait to go back!“

“Great burgers! I LOVED my TriPPPy burger which has a pineapple chutney and bacon jam. You will want extra napkins with that one.? My husband built his own burger to get just what he wanted and enjoyed his burger. They also have veggie options, but these carnivores did not explore them.“

“It was a rare out of town date night for us and we chose Olive and Oak for a couple reasons. They were open late on Sunday and the menu looked amazing. From start to finish, this was a wonderful dining experience. The NA mocktails were amazing. The atmosphere is stunning. We tried several different things on the menu and were not disappointed by any of them. Our server, Jordan, was fantastic. When we walked in Josh was on it, made us feel we were “regulars”, like he new us personally and Stacey, the hostess that seated us, was equally as welcoming and we were seated promptly. I don’t believe we got our kind servers name, but the beautiful young lady was on it as well. The chefs/kitchen were on par as well, hubby had one of the eggs Benedict with a side of biscuit and gravy, I had the Ranchers beef salad, one of the best beef and blue cheese salads I’ve EVER had, and believe me, I’ve had a “few” 😋🤫😊 Hubs also loved the huge coffee mugs his coffee and my Kahluah/hot chocolate(yum on this damp chilly day)were served in…this where my only complaint would be, my mug was chipped along the rim 😅 All that said, it was just a fantastic way to start our Sunday.
