“I was in the area on an errand and got hungry. Used HappyCow and found Fozzie’s was close by. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Their menu is broad. The ambience of the restaurant was eclectic and clean. I chose to sit inside and eat while looking out the very clean windows. Staff was friendly and the food was piping hot! So hot I picked up a french fry and quickly had to put it down because it was hot but that’s a good thing! It was a joy to hear kitchen staff cutting items to make orders. So my visit satisfied, all five senses. Updated from previous review on 2026-06-26“

“Super impressed with the food quality and portions! We left with leftovers and were absolutely stuffed. The roast chicken is worth all the hype it receives, but the prosciutto di parma and grilled octopus appetizers honestly stole the show for us. Tons of great wine and cocktail or mocktail options as well. The service was efficient, friendly, and on point. The atmosphere is energetic and definitely on the louder side, so keep that in mind if that’s not your vibe. Easily one of my husband and I’s top five restaurants in the STL area. Worth every effort to snag a reservation!“

The only complaint is I can’t have them on Sunday! :( We’ve tried to go back to other sandwich shops on a Sunday and it never compares to Gioia’s. You’ve raised the bar so much, now everyone else is a disappointment.“

“When I was traveling through St Louis, a friend introduced me to this place. The frozen custard is amazing and dare I say heavenly. So soft and creamy. It was a true treat. I love discovering and finding out about those wonderful neighborhood gems. I also liked that they had bench seats along one side of the parking lot underneath the trees for people to sit and contemplate the wonderfulness of life and Ted Dewes custard helps to get you into that space.“

“The Crossing Restaurant did a remarkable job the other evening when we dined there. We had impeccable service and outstanding food. I loved being able to do the four course meal with some of the specials. It was wonderful to see the dining room full in this well-established restaurant in the heart of Clayton. I remember being wowwed when I first dined at The Crossing 25 years ago and it is still just as fabulous! We cannot wait to return.“

“We wanted Italian food and we decided to go on the hill to Zia‘s. We ordered pasta dishes, which was extremely nice portion size. The bread was delicious when you dip it in olive oil. I also had the French martini which was delicious. I think if you have a taste for Italian food pasta, you couldn’t find a better place.“

They also have gluten free imitation crab that is impossible to find anywhere else. The large burrito roll is enough for dinner and lunch the next day, so great value as well!“

“I have been wanting to get here for several years, and we finally made it, tonight, to Anthonino's Taverna, a short distance from Rob's place. (Fun fact, this place has been spotlighted twice on Guy Fieri's Food Channel Show. I can now see why. 🥰) Well, I wish I had made it here sooner. But, that's behind us, and tonight was a delicious, and delightful night. Our waitress, Bailee, had the excellent insight to know it takes awhile to decide on a drink, and dinner choices. It doesn't matter if you read the menu online or not. Changes are always added. She gave us the grace to settle in for a few minutes. She gave us enough time to settle in so we could make our choices. Rob had a Kona Wave draft, and I had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Bailee brought us bread made, and baked on The Hill with great quality olive oil, and herbs for dipping. Rob ordered the lasagna, and I opted for the Tutti de Mare with seafood, garlic, butter, and olive oil. My dinner was delicious, and made with freshly made pasta, and a perfect mix of perfectly cooked wild caught seafood of mussels,shrimp, clams, and squid. Rob's lasagna also featured freshly made pasta sheets, Anthonino's red sauce, sausage, ricotta, and mozzarella cheese. I tasted it, and it's your pick here if you love lasagna. Homemade taste that brought me back to my grandmother's and my mother's tables. 🥰❤️ I also felt welcomed, and comfortable as soon as I walked through the door. “I was on lunch break was told food would be done in 10 minutes. waited 30. got back to work very late. To top it off the food was disgusting. I'm not sure if there was even a burger patty provided. what was om the sandwich was an over abundance of mayo and mustard like I guess I ordered a mustard and mayo sandwich. It was messy made the bun soggy and just all around gross. I was going to bring all my kidd back to eat and will NEVER EAR HERE AGAIN. A REFUND IS WANTED. 27 DOLLARS FOR 2 BURGERS 2 DRINKS AND 1 FRY AND THE PLAIN CHEESEBURGWR HAD ONIONS ON IT WASNT SUPPOSE TO. NEEDLESS TI SAY NO ONE ATE THEIR MEAL WE ORDERED ELSE WHERE AND I SUGGEST SKIPPING PAST THIS PLACE. NOT WORTH THE TIME IR MONEY WASTED.“
