“Just kind of stumbled upon Cafe gratitude this morning. We aren’t from KC and decided to walk a bit before we headed home, we had no idea it was a vegan restaurant. We decided to try it out and were delightfully surprised. The flavors were delicious. The protein substitutes were done perfectly. We all tried some thing we wouldn’t typically order and we left very satisfied. Our server was great, she did a wonderful job of explaining things to us and really made it a great experience. The ambience is something I wish I would’ve thought of myself. I loved everything about Café gratitude. Thanks for a wonderful experience.“

“We had our Board of Director Holiday dinner in the Belvedere room and the experience was terrific. The food and drinks were excellent and the setting was great overlooking the main hall of Union Station. Service was excellent and organization of the dinner was convenient. Would definitely recommend and we will likely be back again in the future for dinners.“

“Fresh delicious food , the appetizers were amazing 👏 Baba Ganouj, Hummus , Lentil Soup with summak, and Falafel piping hot and crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. The mixed grill took a while (so order early) but I know nothing was reheated. Everything cooked there and then. The chicken was juicy , flavorful snd succulent . The lamb chops finger the licking good. the beef sheesh kebab soft and juicy and not dry so the fat meat content was on spot. The only negative perhaps was the sheesh kebab was a bit salty 🧂 for my palate.“

“My daughter has Celiac, we live in Michigan and I highly recommend Emily Kate's baked goods! They were so delicious and very flavorful! We've tried the chocolate silk pie, chocolate chip cookies, snickerdoodle cookies, brownies, vanilla cake, choc cupcakes and cheese cakes.“

“Not super familiar with the world of ramen, but this place was a good lil’ introduction! Murals inside and outside gave it some fun character. Most of the tables would accommodate parties of 1-4. The pork tonkatsu was spicy and delicious, left no crumbs, and hope to return to try out more of the menu!

As a few patrons mentioned there were some weird quirks. Examples: There is no self serve station for condiments, cutlery, etc. It recommends BYOD or offers a small selection. You can easily miss the entrance to their parking lot and have to round the block. The front door was locked even though the establishment was open, etc.“

“OK I shop the store all the time but today Saturday, June 10 was the worst experience I’ve ever had the guy who checked me out never ever said one word to me not hi how are you how much my total was nothing put my card in did they number he walked away then he came back and look like he was mad because I didn’t tear off my own receipt and then the girl that was bagging. My stuff look like I was bothering her because she had bag my groceries and she never said a word to me told the manager and he goes who Russell or Rusty or whatever his name was didn’t say a word to you and I said no nobody said a word to me so much for a smile in every aisle he goes oh well I’m sorry I’ll talk to them really sad, sad. “The food was delicious, but I really wanted to make a point to leave a review about our server. From the very beginning, Tayla was attentive and kind. She made sure to give great descriptions of the food, but the real icing on the cake was how much she went above and beyond. We brought in a cake from the bakery, and the host offered to keep it in the fridge for us. Tayla brought out the cake for us to take pictures and sing happy birthday, and then took it to the back to cut it. The cake was butterfly themed, and she cut out my mom's piece to look like a butterfly. We cannot recommend this restaurant enough, but highly recommend asking for Tayla.“

“The Recovery Juice Literally SAVED ME! I started kickboxing again after a long break. I was fully expecting to be sore and tired the next day, but I stopped at Nekter and saw they had a Recovery option. My first experience with juicing so the taste took an adjustment. It was not bad at all, but you can taste every thing! My body is thanking me that I took the time, no soreness whatsoever! Unbelievable truly! I also tried the Chocolate/Peanut Butter Protein Shake and it was FIRE!! 😝 GO CHECK IT OUT!“

“Pizza Ranch ..N.Oak Trafficway Kansas city Missouri I went to is awesome ..their food is good I love their fried chicken which they have put on the buffet along the other Hot food the pizza is real good and u can order a pizza u want that they do not have out on the buffet. the dessert is good and I love the Atmosphere they play Christian songs along other family Oriented songs . they have a gameroom also which is nice . the Employees are all very nice and everyone at this location is smiling and friendly. “Finally tried Burrito Bros after walking by it numerous times throughout our visits to River Market. The food here always sounds good and smells good when you walk by. The menu has a pretty good selection and you can do veggie options too.I had the street tacos and tried three different protein options. The tacos were done relatively quickly and look delicious. The gal definitely added way too many raw onions. The tacos were better than I expected and their hot sauce had a ton of flavor. I did get a piece of plastic wrap in one of my tacos which came from the protein that was in the taco. I can't say this really bothered me because this kind of stuff can happen easily but still not a great thing when you are a public restaurant. The veggie burrito we got was really good and actually had a ton of flavor.It was nice we could eat out in the main walkway area during a cold December day due to the garage doors being closed and the heaters being on. My last comment, some of the staff were noticeably not super friendly but I suppose that is what it is.“

“We had a fantastic dinner at Blue Bird Bistro on Monday 9/16. We sat in the bar area and had the Bartender as our Server. She made us *perfect* dirty martinis, and recommended some excellent dishes and wine. We loved the salmon appetizer and the desserts most of all. The desserts were huge, and leftovers were enjoyed this morning with coffee!“

“I eat here once a week and I get the steak nachos with chips on the side and I absolutely love it.. A little pricey and when I first was told how much it cost for my meal I swore I wouldn't go back but it was delicious even though it really isn't worth the price but I still go once a week.“
