“Decided to try Christine's today. I'm so glad we did. Chiefs were playing and had just gotten a touchdown as we walked in the door. The house interrupted into cheers and claps. I couldn't resist to bow & wave while thanking everyone for the grand welcome. They all laughed and greeted us with welcoming comments. So much fun. The atmosphere is amazing! I'm sure the game had a role in that, but I loved it. Kevin, our server was excellent. So friendly, attentive, helpful... just wonderful. It was our 36th anniversary and just wanted to find a place with good Bloody Mary's & food. We weren't disappointed. Hubby had a GIGANTIC tenderloin & said it was great. I loved the fried cauliflower and the great BBQ pulled pork sammich. It's a small homey place but those are the best kind of places in my opinion. Also we love that it is fire service related. My husband is a 26 yr firefighter, Captain.“

“When I visit family in Sugar Creek, I enjoy grabbing a bite at the Kross lounge. There are not many places anymore that have a relaxed atmosphere and employees that remember me and treat me like a friend. If those old walls could talk, I bet they would tell stories good enough to be made into a movie.“

“Lucky Boys is a classic bar & lounge in the West Bottoms of Kansas City that offers great bar drinks and excellent bar food items. Some of their food options include pizza, poutine fries, burgers, phillys & more.
Thursday night is pizza night at Lucky Boys. We ordered a vodka sauce pizza with cheese, pepperoni, jalapeños, mushrooms, and arugula…YUM! If you go on a night that poutine is on the menu…do NOT miss out because they serve the best poutine fries I’ve ever had! There is a even a pool table here if you enjoy playing pool.
I highly recommend checking out Lucky Boys while exploring in the KC West Bottoms.“

“We were staying overnight at The Fairfield Inn, and The Summit Grill was recommended to us for a dinner location. We were pleasantly surprised at the deliciously amazing food, quick service, and also our attentive waiter, Travis. I highly recommend the Traditional Pot Roast, and my husband recommends the Chicken-Fried Chicken. If we are in Gladstone again, we will defintely return.“

“The food was great but I wouldn’t come here on an evening of you want good service. My husband and I did a tasting tour near by and wanted something to eat before we headed back to the Air BnB. Immediately you could tell how the experience was going to be when we didn’t order drinks right away and didn’t see our server again for about 15 minutes. She was very obviously more interested in paying more attention to customers that ordered drinks right away. She didn’t give her name otherwise I would I mention here. We only got one water and she didn’t come back to us again. We went to go to the hostess to try to pay our bill, ended up stopping her as she was leaving the bar. I give 2 stars out of 5. That’s only because the food was really good. I don’t think I would come back here. Maybe during the day would be better but I don’t know if I’d come here again anyway.“

I like my wings crispy, and most places don’t make them crispy enough for me even when I ask (no shade, it is what it is). But they always deliver for me at Helen’s! “OK I shop the store all the time but today Saturday, June 10 was the worst experience I’ve ever had the guy who checked me out never ever said one word to me not hi how are you how much my total was nothing put my card in did they number he walked away then he came back and look like he was mad because I didn’t tear off my own receipt and then the girl that was bagging. My stuff look like I was bothering her because she had bag my groceries and she never said a word to me told the manager and he goes who Russell or Rusty or whatever his name was didn’t say a word to you and I said no nobody said a word to me so much for a smile in every aisle he goes oh well I’m sorry I’ll talk to them really sad, sad. Sad“
“Had some downtime while my vehicle had tire work done next door, so I stopped into Hy-Vee Market Grille for lunch. I was one of 3 people in the restaurant but the waitress was very attentive and took good care to make sure I enjoyed my visit. The burger I ordered was truly delicious - very well-cooked, fresh and juicy. I had ordered tots with it, but she returned to tell me they were out of Tots per the chef - no problem, fries were fine. A few minutes after my burger came, the chef came out with hot tots telling me she had found some.Delightful experience made possible by staff who very obviously take pride in their job. I'll be back!“

“1st I had DD delivery of Pork Tenderloin Sandwich with onion rings..absolutely delicious .. 2nd I had DD deliver Tavern Burger with fries..I had the white Cheddar Mac n cheese..everything was terrific. really good flavor on each item..I highly recommend and I know whatever I order will be delicious...“

“This has always been a comfort to go to with all my friends and one of my regular hangouts. You get to know everyone. The drinks are reasonable and the service is fast. Karaoke, friends, pool, drinks and food are an awesome combination in my book!!“
