“The place is awesome. The only downside was that I went there with some friends on Sunday morning to watch the Spanish Clásico — Barcelona vs. Real Madrid — and immediately after the referee blew the final whistle, they switched the channel to an American football game. It felt a bit rude, almost as if they were kicking us out. Everyone wanted to see the post-game highlights and player interviews, and someone even yelled from another table, “No one wants to see the Panthers!” The bar had advertised that they would open early especially for El Clásico, so you would expect a soccer bar to give priority to soccer fans, specially on a specific soccer game they were advertising to host. Other than that, everything was great — the waitress was very kind and the hand-crafted cocktails were awesome.“

“I was lucky enough to host my company Christmas party in the popup holiday bar this year. I CANNOT say enough great things about the venue, food, drinks and staff! Everything was incredible and such a great value! The staff was on point. From the beginning Alexa, the event coordinator, and Adam, the general manager, made the whole process so seamless and amazing. We barely lifted a finger and all of our guests were blown away by how beautiful and fun everything was! We will 100% be having our Christmas party here every year from now on. Thank you Adam and staff for your hospitality! You made the event one to remember!“

“Absolutely loved the food and atmosphere here! Went twice during our stay in downtown KC. Food and service were great both times! I cannot rave enough about the N/A options and mocktails. They also have gluten free Mac n cheese pasta which made my day!! Highly recommend the Elote Ribs, Nachos and Current burger!“

“I had an amazing experience at Dos Lokos Restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the energy was welcoming and fun. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out fast — you can tell they care about quality.
Huge shoutout to the bartenders Jaden and Jayda — their drinks were perfectly made and beautifully presented. They were friendly, attentive, and really made the night enjoyable with their great personalities and positive vibes.
And the manager Sam was outstanding! You can tell great leadership starts at the top. Sam made sure everything was running smoothly and checked in to ensure we were satisfied. That level of customer service really stands out.
If you’re looking for great food, strong drinks, and an all-around good time, Dos Lokos is definitely the place to go. I’ll absolutely be back!“

“Going on 4 years and this place just gets better and better! While you can always find entertainment here the service stays on point! Very attentive. The outside patio is beautiful and gives some space while you eat. We love the lamb and wygau beef burgers. My kids eat the pizza and wings while I enjoy their yummy cocktails! From burgers to nachos and eveything in between you'll feel like you ate anywhere but a bar. Just make sure to get a side of ranch for yourself! Gaels is constantly helping organizations in the community with fundraising and support! A true beacon in kc!“

“During the week you get 1 hour of pool play for free, with a lunch purchase. The food is good and comes quickly. They do have lunch specials as well and liquor if that's your thing. Courteous staff and plenty of tables. Great experience overall!“

“The best slidersI ever had in my life, they are phenomenal and some damn good onion rings nice and chrisp, topped with a perfect chocolate Martini. Nice clean kept place. Our waitress was really nice. She made sure that we were satisfied and taking care of 100%. Highly recommend coming here the only down fall was they don’t have espresso martinis 😓 other then that no complaints.“

“🚨GUACAMOLE CHANGE! We’ve been coming to Ponaks for 30 years. The guacamole has aways been one of our favorites. Today we ordered it and immediately noticed something was different. We asked the server and he confirmed that they have changed their recipe, and it’s for the worst. They’ve added “filler” by putting pico and other ingredients into it. It’s not even close to what it was. I hope they don’t start changing their food and Margaritas!!! There is a reason people keep coming back year after year! Please dont mess with perfection Ponaks!“

“I ordered the Grilled Salmon with Roasted Brussel sprouts with a glas of Pinot Noir, and he ordered the Philly Cheese steak and fries with a Strawberry Lemonade. The food was outstanding, but I am not a fan of the Salmon medium cooked. Otherwise, it was a great meal.“

“The food was great but I wouldn’t come here on an evening of you want good service. My husband and I did a tasting tour near by and wanted something to eat before we headed back to the Air BnB. Immediately you could tell how the experience was going to be when we didn’t order drinks right away and didn’t see our server again for about 15 minutes. She was very obviously more interested in paying more attention to customers that ordered drinks right away. She didn’t give her name otherwise I would I mention here. We only got one water and she didn’t come back to us again. We went to go to the hostess to try to pay our bill, ended up stopping her as she was leaving the bar. I give 2 stars out of 5. That’s only because the food was really good. I don’t think I would come back here. Maybe during the day would be better but I don’t know if I’d come here again anyway.“

“Omg…. Best food ever… it’s 1:28am.. nothing else open but thank god because nothing else would even COMPARE… we got the chicken bowl and buffalo chicken wrap.. 12/10!! Also amazing service and the music was everything. Can’t wait to become a regular.“

“Very good Italian restaurant. I had the calzone which was delicious. It is big so plan on a full stomach, or take half home like I did. My wife and daughter had the salad which is also a healthy size. They also had the Italian sub which they said was very good.“
