“Breakfast at its Best. Mid Morning and on the weekends, there might be a wait because they don't accept reservations.

This place hasn't had an update in years because none is needed. The Menu Prices are an incredible value and the food is all prepared from Scratch. If Sue is taking care of you, you are gonna have a great time, she is efficient, friendly, and Awesome!

I always order coffee and a cinnamon roll to begin. I always cut up the cinnamon roll for everyone at the table to share so I don't eat the entire thing myself. It's Delicious!
If you like biscuits, make sure you order them before 1pm ( or before they sell out ) because they are scratch made as well.

Combos are the way to enjoy the most flavor. I ordered the French Toast combo ( with an egg and bacon). They have a full breakfast menu available all day, then Lunch and dinner options available after 1030am. I would say that I will eventually order dinner there, but with the delicious cinnamon rolls, bacon, and breakfast options, I doubt it.

There is plenty of parking available, you can enter from the Eastside of NW Gateway Avenue or from the Southside of 69 HWY/ Vivion RD.“

“I remember hearing about this place years ago but never went. It popped up on my FYP on TikTok so I decided to give it a try. My family and I drove down on a Saturday around 12:30. Not sure where it was exactly, we ended up driving by it and having to turn around. There is only street parking available so we parked 1/2 a block up and walked down. We weren’t the only ones who did. The steady flow of people coming in and out was a lot. Good for business. They only accept cash, which is good to know beforehand. We ordered the famous pork tenderloin, a cheeseburger and fries. Everything is alacarte. Which is also good to know beforehand.
The tenderloin had good flavor but was fried very hard. My husband enjoyed his but said it was too spicy, he had the hot sauce. Overall, it was good. Glad we finally tried it.“

A couple of years ago they had a ‘Cinnamon Toast Crunch’ flavored iced coffee that I was absolutely obsessed with, I went today and asked what might be similar since it hadn’t come back to the menu for awhile, they asked me to give them a second and they came back with a solution to my craving within a minute. They went above and beyond to ask if I wanted cinnamon on top, were super efficient, and so kind! It tastes exactly the same as what I remembered and I’m currently chugging it now. For 2 lg coffees it was only $15! Make a trip over to see them, it’s worth it!!“

“The Lunch Box is a bodega with fast, friendly service and good food. I was there at lunch time and ordered onion rings and turkey club sandwich. The onion rings were homemade and would have been excellent but they were over-fried and tasted a bit burnt. The turkey club was excellent with lots of smoked turkey covered in bacon and cheese, served on toast with mayo, lettece and tomato. I will be back!“

“I have had many meals here while working in the building. This is not a typical hospital cafeteria, it is a cafe. The staff are always helpful, knowledgable and very pleasant to be around. The food is always fresh, hot/cold and very tasty. The salad bar was always a good choice, there is a breakfast salad bar with self yogurts, fruit, cereals, and other typical morning eats. “I adore Cafe Corazon, and am genuinely shocked that I haven’t reviewed them yet.

I have held office hours at the Westport location since they opened and with years of history behind us, I can definitively say that Cafe Corazon is one of the best coffee experiences to be had in Kansas City.

I say experiences for a reason. Friends, I don’t even like coffee.

Of course, they have a stellar regular menu with great coffee drinks. Seasonal menus are inventive and I’m partial to anything Manzanita flavored in autumn because they put these little cinnamon apple crisps on top and it’s delicious. The coffee flight is fun to order with a friend but for me, the Dulce de Leche Latte, iced with extra drizzle is just *chefs kiss*. Occasionally I’ll add an extra shot if I need the jolt and it’s incredible.

Once, Alejandro saw me on my way in and started making my drink before I hit the door, so I had it in hand by the time I hit the register - which leads me to another thing Cafe Corazon does extraordinarily well. Their team is always so friendly and service-oriented. I love it!

They offer a comprehensive Yerba Mate menu, and it’s fun to overhear staff explain the history and ritual to folks who’ve never tried it before. The empanadas (made by Pan Caliente, a local Argentinian bakery) and accompanying chimichurri sauce is out of this world.

The artwork is colorful annd vibrant and I love when they decorate for holidays. They have a gorgeous ofrenda every year for Dia de los Muertos. The sense of community and Latin American culture that shows up so intentionally in every detail is just as warming as the coffee. That’s why I say experience.

Cafe Corazon has tasty coffee but it’s so much more. This location is a cozy little haven on Westport Rd. and I’m so happy to see them continue to grow and influence the KC coffee landscape.“

“In town for convention , stayed at Marriott. The food and prices were what was expected of a cafe such as this. A little older, family run, cooked to order. Food is served on disposable Styrofoam trees or in the little plastic baskets by no means a five star restaurant. This is more of a you want something to eat, but you don’t wanna pay a crazy price on the first day we were here we ate breakfast we had omelettes. The omelettes were very good. We enjoyed them Then for lunch one day I had a hamburger and onion rings. The burgers are definitely your frozen burger patties and the onion rings were the same thing frozen but they were cooked just fine and it wasn’t too ridiculous. For example, my burger, onion rings and drink was $14 before tip. There are plenty of places to eat, but I was just tired. I want to get something quickly and since the breakfast lunch place I was able to get my food in a matter of minutes.“
