The staff pretty much always are smiling and friendly- even when they are super busy. I've been inside for mobile orders and through the drive thru.

Parking: Somewhat difficult to find a spot during peak hours. There is only one enterance/exit and one way traffic. You have to go around the drive thru line to get back out.“

“Order was wrong, I ordered a filet of fish with no tartar sauce and no cheese, and it came with cheese on it. the fries were just basically warm, weren't very hot and a little overcooked. And I ordered a McChicken with no mayonnaise and I got a spicy McChicken with no mayonnaise“

“City Coffee House & Creperie is a great place to escape, the vibe is that of a hidden cafe. The food is always great, I love their lemon curd crepe, opted for the waffle this time to celebrate National Pancake Day (a waffle is just a pancake with cups to hold the syrup I’ve been told). You cannot go wrong with any selection on the board. Fresh ingredients and great staff!!“

“Great atmosphere! I love all the colors and the inspiring vibe. There are lots of seating options to choose from—whether you prefer a soft, cozy seat or a taller, bar-height spot. There’s even a workspace that’s super soothing.

I had my usual vanilla latte, and it was delicious—no complaints! It came in a glass instead of a mug, but that’s not a big deal. The music was awesome too. I didn’t even bother putting on my own playlist because it felt like they were already playing my favorite songs.

Perfect spot for working with others or just getting things done solo.“

There was literal tiny trees inside and a super cool old bank safe room with a beautiful painting. They had some seating and big windows that let the light in excellently. Would recommend“

“My go to coffee place in the area. My favorite local coffee brand in STL. Kinda shocked at the some of the negative reviews. I go quite often and my order is always perfect and I usually order for multiple people and food. I also buy their coffee for my espresso machine at home. The employees are always super nice too. Never had single bad experience.“

“Cute coffee shop. Quite a bit of seating even in winter thanks to a covered patio with heat lamps.

We had three coffees and three egg wraps. They have a combo both for 8.50, plus 50¢ for a little dollop of (Costco) salsa. Which we thought was a fine deal (though the salsa was a little eh).

The drip coffee was good. You could taste the greenness, it was light roast and very smooth.

The egg wraps were yummy, but a little dry and the edges of the tortillas were hard. Almostttt good, just need a fresher tortilla and maybe some cheese or something? The filling was good.

The atmosphere on the covered patio was pretty good. They just need to spruce it up a bit with updating the chalk boards. Some string lights or something.

The main guy working (owner?) was super nice.

“The French Dip was maybe not the best I've ever had. I'm sorry to say it - there was nothing really wrong but it was just okay. But our waiter made up for anything was was mildly lacking. Was his name Marquis or something like that. I'm SO sorry I didn't jot down the correct spelling. He was AMAZING - personable, handsome, efficient beyond words. The atmosphere and decor are wonderful. This was the first I had been since the name change and all was wonderful. Can't wait to return - hope I can get the same waiter“

“We ate at La Belle Vie this morning and were amazed at the portion sizes, how well seasoned everything was and the cook on our food. The coffee was delicious and they even make their own chai which is the best we’ve had at any coffee shop. We make our own and are quite picky and would absolutely order again! We are self proclaimed food snobs who have catered small and large events with everything made from scratch. This is now one of our favorite places and we’re so happy to have found them. The service was friendly and helpful. We met the owners who are absolute gems and their staff exudes the same happy, friendly attitude. Must try. Must go back again and again. “Took my husband to Hive this morning for Father’s Day breakfast. The wait staff is great! I had the absolutely delicious lamb chops, eggs, and breakfast potatoes while he had pancakes. “Came in off the Katy Trail wanting a pastry and some coffee. Ended up getting a pecan pastry and a Burundi honey processed coffee. Both were delicious!

One thing that was a bit annoying is that they don't have prices listed for everything. Mine ended up being about $12 total. They have coffee flights available as well which is what I'll probably get next time, although I have no idea how much they cost.“

“Kaldi’s Coffee is hands-down one of my favorite spots! Their drinks are absolutely delicious and always made exactly how I ask for them—no matter how specific my order might be. I also love how they’re always coming up with creative and seasonal options to keep things exciting.

The cashiers are so nice and friendly every time I visit. They’re super helpful when I have questions about the menu or can’t decide what to try next. It’s clear they really care about creating a great experience for their customers.

Parking: The parking situation can be a bit tricky since Kaldi’s shares a small lot with two other restaurants, which is almost always full. Street parking can also be a challenge, especially depending on the time of day, as it’s located right near WashU’s campus.“

“Got my shaken espresso early morning before work. Was early enough I was having trouble even remembering what my order was and I don't visit Starbucks very often. Doug was my cashier and the way he treated me I would think that man could guide anyone through any problem. I'm just standing there trying to order a sweet treat to fight the dead tired feeling inside and Doug leads me through the entire process with the customer service patience of an angel. Would trust Doug to teach an older person some technology and not have them get mad. 10/10 experience“
