“Freddy’s food is delicious and it’s a whole lot like Steak ‘n Shake since most Steak ‘n Shake have closed down. It’s a great place to go and eat the restaurant is like Steak ‘n Shake used to be with maybe cafeteria style tables that you can move around and feed a group if you’d like. Their sandwiches are great and the service is great. It’s a very pleasant place to go for lunch or dinner if you choose.“
“This place is great for desserts. The twisted cake with ice cream which is the chimney cake tastes great and has 9 flavors. This was our first time trying this place today. If you want something else, they have shakes, waffles, crepes, mini pancakes, Italian soda and ice creams of variety of flavors. This place is smaller in size and has about three tables to sit near the window and two other sitting areas to the left of the cash register. This place is a nice addition to the ballwin area.“
“In town from Indiana for the 3 day weekend. My GF has never been to Ted Drewes and I told her it was a priority for our visit. Pulled up on Sat night before Easter and the crowd was huge. Thought initially it wasn't going to work out but thought we'd park and try anyway. Surprisingly, the crowd was mostly just people socializing and the lines weren't long at all. We got a couple of sundaes and enjoyed the unseasonable warm weather and had a great time. Delicious, as usual, and so fun. We had a great time, and I'd recommend everyone come here when they're in St Louis. If we lived here, we'd be regular customers. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.“
“Super convenient to downtown - great parking and outdoor seating!! They have many Delicious flavors of fantastic ice cream!! The "Naughty" flavors are not too strong with just a hint of adult beverage, the "Nice" flavors are some of Best Ever!! A perfect venue to stop by at any time of day or night. This ice cream will keep you coming back again and again!! ?????Parking: Just off the main track. ?“
“This place is one of a kind and AMAZING!!! The staff was great! The ice cream delicious. The atmosphere welcoming. The 'show' was super cool to watch! Definitely a must visit on your trip to town. Each order is made to order. Flash freeze and then serve. Have 21+ an older ice cream. Waffle cones are delicious. Nice size servings. Street parking. Outdoor eating area. ?“
“Brought family of 5 in for ice cream. Our local library had a promotion where kids that read a lot of books got a scoop of ice cream. Kids enjoyed the birthday cake scoops while my wife and I split an ice cream flight. Yes, you read that right. I got 4 little scoops of all the stuff I wanted to try out. I was quite fond of the elderberry honey. My youngest like the banana pie, and my oldest leaned towards the Snickerdoodle.Overall, great experience, not a complaint in the world. Plan to come back again!Kid-friendliness: Kids got a huge scoop that made their jaws drop. The music playing in the background was soothing big band jazz so no worries on bad language popping up.“
“My friends and I visited St Louis for a weekend trip! This little coffee shop was walking distance from our place and we loved it here! The matcha latte I got was great and the breakfast was super yummy. The baristas were awesome!! They were kind and approachable, and gave suggestions of shops and boutiques for us to visit. We went there several times for coffee; fabulous & friendly!“
“I love the variety of flavours Clementine's has. I used to like Jeni's ice cream initially but ever since I found Clementine's close to my house I don't have to go anywhere else. They have a good variety of vegan options too and I love their colourful waffle cones.“
“I heard Jeni being interviewed on a major foodie podcast a couple years ago and absolutely loved the way she articulated her desire for off-the-wall flavors. She wasn't afraid to try new things. Her creativity, profound scientific approach to flavor components, and endless obsession with creating better flavor combinations all come together in pure harmony when you try her ice creams. She is very meticulous about her ingredients which is why she uses grass fed cream, and doesn't saturate the ice cream with tons of sugar.I was ecstatic when I found out she had a shop here in STL!Jeni's is among the best grown up ice cream I've ever had (second best would be Ice Cream Factory *sold in ice cream parlors, not grocery stores.* ICF is what I call the "kid version" because every bite is studded with massive amounts of cookie pieces, candy bits, etc., while Jeni's is more for a refined foodie palette: like their Goat Cheese with Red Cherries, Brown Butter Almond Brittle, Brandied Banana Brûlée, Sweet Cream Biscuits and Peach Jam, etc., etc., etc.)The ambience is also super cute, but usually packed on the weekends with very limited parking, but it's worth it.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free & dairy free options“
“Cool Time with Cool Time!!!I absolutely love this business! Great for parties and events! I’ve used them for multiple occasions and each time was an amazing experience! The customer service is always impeccable! Sooooo many different options to fit any situation. No more being tired and outta breath from chasing “the bomb pop” truck down the street lol! No more missing the truck cause you had to run and get your dollars out the house.“
“A long assortment of Gelato flavors, and one would not return disappointed.Great place to try affocato given different options of Gelato already present.Other than that, the non-icecream based coffee can be improved significantly.Highly recommended.“
“A friend of mine suggested Crumbl so my wife an I were passing by and decided to stop ,one of the best decisions I've made. CRUMBL was clean and the atmosphere and service were great, helped with the smell of the bakery to say the least we got a variety of cookies we were told that they change the menu around often, so after spending $98 we weren't disappointed the cookies were fresh and moist to say I was in Heaven wouldn't be enough @! If you get a chance give them a try!!“
“It was great !!! I love the chocolate ice cream cake shake. My friends likes their hot fudge and vanilla ice cream too.Atmosphere is really good and staff is helpful.Timings are good you can grab it till 11pmArrangements are good.Must recommended.“
“This place has been in business for 5 years. West siders are going to say this place is on the West side. Northsiders are going to say this is on the North. Im from North so it's on the Northside. Lol Either way, I finally decide to stop on thru and was rewarded with some very good tasting food. They are known for their homemade ice cream and for selling breakfast all day during their operation hours (as of this review, they are closed on Sundays and Mondays) On the day I went it was too hot for me to get ice cream as a togo item so I got :Breakfast plate with salmon Croquet 3.5/ 5: 2 nice sized patties that were well seasoned ( too well season for me but I can see how the majority of their customer base would like them this way.Egg over easy 3/5 good but the yolks wasn't running like it supposed to bePotatoes 5/5 smothered potatoes; best ever I had from a restaurant hands down Wheat toast; 3/5 I would have prefer white bread. Im going to ask next time if white is an option. Plain Stirfry : 5/5 noodles and sauce were on point .portion size was huge They have a loyal neighborhood customer base and the food is cooked to order; so there will be a wait time.If you are on the North, check out Ari's !!“
“Drive past this place all the time and finally stopped. Love that they serve Dole whips. The custard was super light and fluffy. I am definitely not a custard expert but I really enjoyed the texture a lot. Large menu with a lot of options and helpful staff. Fair prices.“
“We was looking for a new ice cream place and stumbled upon this cute little place. Staff was friendly. We didn't end up getting ice cream ?. We got tacos and cheese fries and fruit dish covered in sweet cream bionco. We'll definitely be back. It was a tasty lil meal and treat.“
“Best ice cream around. This a cozy ice cream shop with a nice selection of unique ice cream flavors along with the usual favorites. Other unique menu items include their spirited shakes and beer floats. The staff was very friendly and served everyone with a smile. ?“
“My husband has been eyeing this place for a bit and today we finally decided to give it a shot. The staff was very friendly and helpful! My husband ordered the steak torta and horchata. I ordered the chicken quesadilla with a tamarin drink. This was literally the best chicken quesadilla I've ever had, super filling. It was so good I forgot to take a picture. We grabbed an order of the churros after seeing a raving review about them. As well as four popsicles to go (Oreo, coffee tequila, strawberry cream, and watermelon). I highly recommend this place, we will definitely be back.“
“Went there in the evening. Perfect atmosphere, Helpful staff, prices a little high, but are in line with a boutique shop. Next stop was an outdoor concert and nibbled on the purchases. Very fresh and tasty. Noticeably a local owned shop and happy to support!“
“Best custard by far in STL and StCharles. Perfect vanilla flavor and texture, I can’t explain it but no other frozen custard shops compare. Both regular and light options are delicious. The most perfect concretes we’ve ever had. Probably come here once a week if not more. We live near by but would drive out of my way to come here. Have not tried their hard ice cream. I’ve heard good things about their drumsticks. There are many frozen custard places around but Doozles is king ?.“
“We stopped in at Silky's during a recent stay in the St. Charles, MO area. Really good frozen custard! Having grown up in STL with TD on the Southside, Silky gives TD a run for the money... very good, creamy, and not quite as sugary-sweet as some custards. It was nicely balanced, and there are plenty of shapes, sizes, toppings and add ons to please anyone in your group. Stop by next time you're close. Highly recommended.“
“This is a great black own ice cream shop on the Missouri side. Friendly service don't rush you to pick the toppings. Fresh everything ice cream toppings cakes. It has limited seating but it's a great place atmosphere, for a quick ice cream date. Forgot to take a picture of the Product. I had the Angel but they changed it to a strawberry cheesecake ice cream.“
“What a great neighborhood gem! We loved the little lawn and picnic tables in the back for our toddler to run around in. For a kiddie cup, a small and a medium 1-topping concrete came out to ~$11. There are dozens of concrete flavors — seriously! We'll definitely be back many times this summer.“
“Truthfully, I expected more from a bakery that imports pastries from France. This post is purely based off personal preference as French pastries are known to be much less sweet than American pastries, and I am definitely addicted to sugary treats.I've been here about 2 or 3 times and it's not bad but it's also not my favorite. Their macarons aren't dry but they don't pack a whole lot of flavor. The coffee was okay, even though they had a ton of flavors to choose from, it seemed like it was lacking something (probably the excessive amount of sugar I'm used to, haha.) Service is always wonderful, the staff is eager to answer questions and they're very knowledgeable, it's also not usually packed so there aren't long wait times. The atmosphere is absolutely phenomenal though -- such a cute place. I'll probably visit again with friends for the ambiance.Parking: Free parking behind the building“
“The fries and burgers are great and this is an great place to hang with friends and it has games to play while u wait and the candy is so good krissys even sells cereal witch is so good and even ice cream and milkshakes and yea so just look on the menu for all the stuff. From Calisyn “
“My mind is blown. I had no idea vegan ice cream could taste this incredible! Came in for the vegan PB cookie, but sadly they were out. I tried the vegan tahini chocolate chip and was blown away. Creamy, sweet, with bitter dark chocolate. Perfect treat on a 105 degree day. A true "parlor" ambiance with a modern twist. Absolutely adorable.“
“The food & service were both Great! We ordered our food for pick up & once we looked around, we decided to eat there. The manager was on point, he made rounds to all the tables. The burgers were hot & delicious. I had to take my chili to go...but the turtle shake didn't make it home!“
“We stopped in late one evening right before Christmas. It's right off main street, so parking may cause some issues depending on when you go. The service was okay enough, nothing horrible - nothing great. We were late so the assortment of cookies wasn't the top cookies, I don't think, but what we did get was pretty good. Very homemade tasting, which isn't a bad thing. The best was the gingerbread and snickerdoodle, by far! Worth a stop in!“
“I had the pleasure of visiting Fritz's after walking up and down St François at our Fall Festival. ALWAYS a great day in Florissant for sure! As always it was a perfect experience, I always think I'm going to try something new and different, however I always end up with my favorite, chocolate concrete with heath/toffee, which of course is DELICIOUS! Fritz's is a gem for sure in Florissant! Stop in and order your favorite...you won't be disappointed ?“
“Doozle’s frozen custard truly stands out as a delightful treat. The rich, velvety texture and indulgent flavor make it a standout in the frozen dessert scene. Each spoonful feels like a heavenly experience, with the perfect balance of creaminess and sweetness. The variety of flavors caters to diverse palates, ensuring there’s something for everyone. In other words, Doozle’s frozen custard is a must-try for anyone seeking a luxurious and satisfying frozen treat. With its exceptional quality, diverse flavors, and inviting ambiance, Doozle’s has undoubtedly earned its place among the top choices for frozen custard enthusiasts.“
“This was our first visit to Sugarfire Pie and it will not be our last!!! The atmosphere is unique and inviting. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I walked in expecting to spend $20 on 2-3 items, but walked out away spending $20 on 5 items. Our experience from start to finish exceed my expectations!“
“Great customer service easy to book and great ice cream choices with reasonable prices always on time and very professional ! Best ice cream truck book frozen fun express for all your special occasions or just because you won't be disappointed!“
“Yum! We got two Medium Snowcones $4 each- I had the pina colada and my bf had the banana berry- they were delishhh! Also had to get a $.25 snowball :) We were having a horrible day with a broken down car and came across this little snow cone shop. I wish I would've gotten the kind man's name who was running the shop- thanks for making our day better!“
“I absolutely love their ice cream! The flavors are always so delicious and creamy, and there's such a great variety to choose from. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and they make you feel right at home. My favorite flavor is the cookie and dough it's so rich and flavorful! The prices are also very reasonable, especially considering the generous portions you get. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a sweet treat“
“Glad I found this place! I was in search for cafes and this popped up in the search results. Looked amazing from the pictures and more amazing in person.Tried the minis! Since I couldn’t commit to so many large chocolate options.I did get the large raspberry lemon one. I’m a chocolate fan, and this one blew me away. The frosting was yummy and the cake is soft and moist.Thank goodness this place is far from me.Friendly lady at the register. They have cakes and ice cream options too. Dangerous ?Please make one with lavender and lemon!!!!!“
“Great idea. I can't have too much sweet so I can make a small amount for myself. Good tasting. The reason only one star for the service is because I'm the service person. ?. That being the idea of the place. They weigh it and only charge per pound.“
“I had a great experience at Delicias Lupita! The service is fast and cordial.Today I tried the gordita de chorizo, quesadilla de carne asada, torta de milanesa and the strawberries and milk paleta? I can't wait to try more items from their menu, I highly recommend this place.“
“Charming and a blast to the past! The ice cream is made there and packed into the old 1/ 2 gal style paper cartons. For her BD, I bought a 1/2 gal. of banana ice cream for my wife who grew up in the area and loved it as a kid. She was thrilled and said it tasted every bit as good as it did back when she was a child. Nice people, but bring cash as they don't accept debit cards or CCs.“
“Even with a long drive thru line they are quick. Always accurate and nice staff. My favorites are the seasonal key lime pie and pumpkin pie Concretes. Great arrays of toppings (my favorite are fresh fruit!) and menu items and you can watch frozen custard being made. Open til like 10 even in winter on weekdays, so it's great for night owls. Get a points account to earn $5 off your next purchase, also a treat on your birthday! They're going to run Lyons and FroYo out of business. I only wish they still did those BOGO coupons that were on the back of Schnucks receipts. It IS pricey otherwise. John Travolta would be stunned at the price of their milkshakes. Also, I can taste peanut butter in my concrete on many occasions. If you've anything but the mildest peanut allergy, let them know, or just don't risk it.Vegetarian options: Only a few things on menu a vegetarian might want to be concerned about: If you are wary of gelatin, I would avoid the marshmallow creme topping, just in case. Perhaps the pie crust in the seasonal key lime and pumpkin pie concretes MAY contain tallow (beef fat.) Also, it's soft serve, so it contains milk, and I doubt it's cage free.Parking: 24 regular spots located on 3 sides of building. 1 handicap spot with wheelchair access.Kid-friendliness: Offer kid-sized cones. Strollers are given easy access to order at the front window. Menu is low so short people can read.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicapped spot with ample space for wheelchair user to exit the vehicle. Sidewalk has accessible grades instead of curbs for wheelchairs and strollers to easily maneuver. More than enough space to wait in line and order without being obstructed. I do not believe they have seating at their tables for wheelchairs, however. But most people do not sit and eat there, they just use the benches/stand.“
“I hate the thought of jinxing us, but they have never messed up our order. Shrimp is a great addition for lent. My wife loves the shrimp, and I like the pork tenderloin sandwich. Like the flavor of the day sign, gets my attention, sometimes draws me in. Nice alternative to fast food!“
“It was tasty food! I had the chicken sandwich, my mother ordered the onion rings. Afterwards we got shakes which were good. My one issue is that I think the menu should be a tad more diverse. There are like five main options and three sides. But the ice cream is able to be customized, kind of like going to Fritz's. The ambience was very similar to other 50s themed joints like Cheeburger or steak shake. Stuff was clean, and the service was great. The person behind the counter was very friendly and helpful when we were stuck on a decision.“
“This place has become a staple for frozen custard in St. Louis. The custard has a great flavor and consistency to it, but the hours here are a bit irregular and don't necessarily follow the hours they advertise on their website. Reasonably priced!“
“The food is made so fast it is shocking. There are always great coupons on their mobile app. I also really love the chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream cake which there is a great coupon you get on the mobile app every year for your birthday. The staff are always polite when I am there also.“
