“My husband and I had the pleasure of eating dinner on Christmas Eve. I had the scallops and linguine; he had a steak. Our meals were delicious! Highly recommend this little gem along one of the prettiest streets in the USA.“

“No wait time at 4pm on a Tuesday for 3 people. Our server, Mikaela, was marvelous! She never seemed to hover but was there when needed. The food was excellent! I ordered the country fried steak with street corn and was not disappointed at all. My family ordered meatloaf with okra and Mashed potatoes and they were extremely happy. Made sure to let the manager know how much we enjoyed everything.“

“Today me and my wife and daughter decide to try a new restaurant. loaded nachos and it was out of this world great. we will most definitely be going back and trying other items on the menu. if you have never tried loaded nachos I suggest you get up go on across to St Charles and get you some loaded nachos you will not be disappointed.“

“This is the most favorite roast beef sandwich of our whole family. We are there so often the friendly staff knows our names. When our younger son and his family fly in from California, their first stop after leaving the airport is Lions Choice. We have their “ Bon Voyage” at Lions choice right before they fly back to California. We love this place. Always friendly. Always fast. Always delicious! Always a winner!“

“I enjoy their Sunday brunch. It's open to the public. Great atmosphere and service. The views over the golf course are very pretty. They do take reservations.

Parking: On a busy Sunday, it can be difficult to find a parking space.

Dietary restrictions: Their Sunday buffet allows you to choose foods to meet your dietary restrictions, but I didn't see any specific accommodations being made otherwise. For example, no gluten-free waffles or Danish were offered.“

“Our stay was very enjoyable, and the hotel amenities, including the pool area, were generally excellent. However, we did encounter a few instances related to staff interactions that we feel warrant attention.

Evening Reception Policy Enforcement
Upon returning one evening, we intended to briefly attend the complimentary reception to get beverages. We were carrying 'doggy bags' with restaurant leftovers. While we respect policies designed to prevent the consumption of outside meals during the reception, a staff member quickly and insistently addressed the presence of these bags. We had no immediate intention of consuming the contents at the reception tables and were simply getting drinks. The gentleman's immediate suggestion to discard the bags, rather than allowing us the chance to store them, felt premature and somewhat overbearing. We recommend reviewing the communication strategy for this policy to ensure a welcoming atmosphere, even while maintaining proper protocols.

Pool and Fitness Center Observation
The pool facilities were very nice and well-maintained. However, we observed the same gentleman who was present at the reception entering the pool area. He appeared to conduct a detailed sweep of the area, seemingly looking for policy violations among the guests, before quickly departing. Immediately after, he walked past the weight room, where we noted minors were engaging in inappropriate behavior, specifically throwing balls and playing on the treadmills.

While we did not report these events at the time, the contrast between the intense scrutiny directed at guests in the reception and pool areas and the apparent lack of attention given to safety issues in the fitness center was noticeable. The overall impression was one of inconsistent policy application and potentially disproportionate focus on guests simply utilizing amenities.

Other than those couple of actions our stay was perfect, we loved the space and accommodations . I docked 1 star for service.“

“The server Jelani was very nice and made my time coming back home from boot camp amazing enjoyed the drinks and watching football it was a good time“

“the staff here saved a choking man's life today. they were very quick and effective, several staff had him surrounded in seconds, got the blockage cleared and he was on his way. Then they just went right back to working like nothing happened and it was just another day at the office. a true class act!“

“Sat at the bar, and the bartender was really nice and engaging she was super busy mostly fixing the blender for a milk shake and restocking things so I did have to wait on my drink. I was there at 8 pm so maybe there was a big dinner rush before me. Still she was nice. The new grilled cheese cheeseburger wae the bomb. So good“

“This particular location had been hiring people who clearly either didn't care about service or just lacked basic understanding and experience. I came here recently with a friend and I'm happy to share that I would say their servers and people that are hiring have changed for the better, even as a fast food restaurant I'm happy to see that higher standards are trying to be kept especially as I see Culver's as a step up from your standard McDonald's or Wendy's.“

“Walking down Main St on a beautiful evening and the patio caught our eye. The "dungeon" basement is cool and the bartender was really sweet. Having a fire when it got a bit chilly was the icing on the cake. Will definitely be recommending to friends and coming back for dinner soon.“

“Met up with a friend today at one of my favorite brunch spots, First Watch. We went to the one located on Streets of St. Charles. Their fresh food, juices, and eclectic menu makes it so you can always try something new. They have specialties each month, and I suggest you go before the end of February and try their barbacoa chilaquiles breakfast bowl!! Today I had the morning meditation juice and the barbacoa chilaquiles breakfast bowl. The breakfast bowl was a party in my mouth! The braised beef barbacoa mixed with the eggs, beans, and other seasonings. My friend opted for the Italian Inspired omelet. You can put a reservation in online prior to arrival on busy days (like Saturday). The wait was not long this morning, and the food makes the wait worth it. One thing I like about Fresh Watch is the continuity across the chain in that regardless of which restaurant you choose the food is always good and fresh. Great service. Stop in and check them out…try something new!“

“Working and staying very locally, over from the uk for 10 days,Very much a local hang out felling here, staff seem to know all the people that come in (which is a great thing).Staff are friendly and seem up for a bit of banta.Kitchen was closed when we turned up but that still threw on a pizza for us, which was very much appreciated.I’m sure we’ll return many times during our visit over in the US.Seen a few reviews moaning about the ladies chatting with the people at the bar!! That’s part of their job surely? Talking with their regulars is a sign of good bar tender no?My glass never got empty all evening before I was offered a refill.Highly recommended this bar if you’re in the area.“

“Buyer beware... "buffalo wings" are not. They are fried chicken with breading & next to no meat. No buffalo sauce at all. Just like ordering KFC. Very disappointed. I only ate 30% because I picked all the breading off & no discount. “Amazing! Everything about this place is absolutely amazing! From the unusual spicy toasted ravioli sauce and trash can nachos to the Nashville Sliders which were chicken and waffles. “Excellent Place!
I stopped in with Family while traveling, 2 hours from home and the Experience was awesome! Food was great, service was great, The Restaurant was very clean.

The cherry on top though, when we left my son accidentally left his switch console in the booth, and when I went back to see if it was still there, staff had picked it up and kept it safe until we came looking for it about an hour later after shopping next door. The Manger personally handed it to me after I gave a description of it, saying he hoped we came back for it, since they knew we were traveling.

10/10 would stop here again!!!“
