“They actually had grimace there greeting the kids and having them spin a prize wheel. It was so refreshing to see McDonald's being kid-friendly again instead of just McCafe. We need to bring back the children's McDonald's. The children need some more safe and fun do be a kid again. Thank you for making a great experience for my kids.“

“I was on lunch break was told food would be done in 10 minutes. waited 30. got back to work very late. To top it off the food was disgusting. I'm not sure if there was even a burger patty provided. what was om the sandwich was an over abundance of mayo and mustard like I guess I ordered a mustard and mayo sandwich. It was messy made the bun soggy and just all around gross. I was going to bring all my kidd back to eat and will NEVER EAR HERE AGAIN. A REFUND IS WANTED. 27 DOLLARS FOR 2 BURGERS 2 DRINKS AND 1 FRY AND THE PLAIN CHEESEBURGWR HAD ONIONS ON IT WASNT SUPPOSE TO. NEEDLESS TI SAY NO ONE ATE THEIR MEAL WE ORDERED ELSE WHERE AND I SUGGEST SKIPPING PAST THIS PLACE. NOT WORTH THE TIME IR MONEY WASTED.“

“Great burgers! I LOVED my TriPPPy burger which has a pineapple chutney and bacon jam. You will want extra napkins with that one.? My husband built his own burger to get just what he wanted and enjoyed his burger. They also have veggie options, but these carnivores did not explore them.“

“The food is absolutely delicious! The burgers are huge and delicious, and quite well cooked. The barbecue sauce was tangy and delicious with the Gateway Burger. I was looking forward to trying the onion rings, but ended up not having room after the burger!
Some reviews have mentioned the service - the servers are not overenthusiastic in their greetings as other restaurants, but the service is damn good. They have a very subtle style of attentiveness, not always asking if you need something but noticing when you do, keeping an eye on you. They check in at the exact points - when the food hits the table, after two bites, and when your plate is just about done. There were two servers today and they were both multitasking and on top of all their tables, and their demeanor just happens to be more casual comfort. Definitely wouldn’t dock them any service points. If you do tend to prefer more enthusiastic service, it might not be the best match, but theirs is still a service style that will get you what you need.
I’m not currently living in STL, but will definitely be returning next time I’m in the city!“

“I go to the Shack at least once a month. I was there recently and received excellent food and service. Jennifer was great server, nothing was too much trouble. She helped move all of our coats and bags in order to change our seats. She was cheerful and helpful. I bring my out-of-town guests here often. The menu includes healthy,creative, delicious entrees, and as well as gluten free options.“

“My wife and I, wayward travelers from Arkansas in town to see the TMBG show at the Pageant, stumbled in out of the pouring rain to enjoy the fabled floats. They did not disappoint! A special shout out to Darcy whose warmth and hospitality made this particularly memorable. Thank you Darcy!“

“Start with the Pork Belly Cheese Fries! I highly suggest the DLT sandwich with tater tots. Be sure to save room for some macarons. A staple in Maplewood: the staff is friendly, the bar has some great offerings, and the food is delicious. I highly suggest making a second trip to try brunch - you can't go wrong with Eggs Bene-duck.“

“Stopped by today 1st time. Staff very hospitable. Ordered the mac and cheese dog. it was just ok. The only thing really good on it was the bacon. Mac and cheese tasted and looked like it came from a box. The pretzel bun was dried out in spots. wasnt impressed at all for a 12 plus dollar hot dog. Been better off going to QT and getting one of their dogs.“

“Have been going here since I was a kid and to me this place will always be the best burger joint in town. Bacon chuck with cheese a curly fry and some cheddar cheese balls with a cherry coke , can't get any better just wish we could go back inside and sit down and eat because the atmosphere was the best!!!!!!! “This is our first time trying EC’s Bar & Grill. We had a Large Deluxe pizza with Provel cheese, and it was wonderful! We also had a side salad, which was very fresh and good! The restaurant is extremely clean, and they did a great job remodeling the old IMO’s Pizza. All their food looks amazing! They have a great variety of food! If you haven’t tried it, you must! Extremely nice family owned restaurant! You will LOVE IT!“

“Upscale, romantic ambience with excellent service! From Antwon, our exceptional maître D( this guy kept the flow of everyone!), to Joey our server, and Jake who never let us be empty! Sam’s steakhouse delivers with class! The owner Pat is a class act, himself-he came out and interacted with each table, ensuring that everyone was happy. The food was delicious, and well prepared. The setting is inviting to all!! The perfect level of sound with the live entertainment was also great, lending to the atmosphere! IMPRESSED!! A real STL gem!“

“We just went for the first time tonight & hate we’ve missed out on going sooner! We are from Southern Indiana & it’s going to be hard to find anything to compare at home! Greg, Louis, and Eddie who were working the smoker when we left were so nice, told us all the ins and outs of the place, and truly take pride in their work. That pride is reflected in the delicious meal you’ll get! 10/10 recommend!“

If you want gluten-free, vegan, organic, cruelty-free fare, this is not your jam.
No inside seating, unless you're eating inside your car. The very limited menu makes the lines move quickly.

“Hands down best food we had on our entire vacation! Fall-off-the-bone BBQ chicken, best friend catfish I think I've ever had, and OMG you have to try the baked beans!!!!! Fabulous, welcoming, friendly staff and environment. Highly recommend, and will definitely be stopping by every time we pass through St. Louis (we're from Texas, but travel a few times a year).“

“This was such a nice quiet place tucked away. The meal pictured was just 1 meal we split in half between the two of us. So it's safe to say they don't skimp on the portions. “OMG the burgers were amazing... My hubby was craving a blue cheese burger and we decided to try them out. At first we were gonna leave because we didn't see the kinda burgers on the menu we wanted, but the waiter stopped us and said he can make it any way you want it.. So we stayed, He was right, them burgers came out juice, fresh and the grilled taste was amazing. Our waffles fries were a little overcooked, but the wonderful chez soften them up. Please try them, you will love them ask them to cook your waffle fries a little soft, and you will love love love them.. I gave the atmosphere a 2 star not because the inside wasn't comfy, it was nice clean and friendly, but OMG there was heavy metal music over the loud speaker.. I'm talking about bang your head music. Now I'm an R&B girl, but don't mind a little different genre every once in a while, but that music was debilitating. When you sit down to eat, you want some feel good tunes, and that was not it... I did love EAT Crow try their burgers.. they wont disappoint..“

“Mac's was fast, friendly, the menu is easy to read and the service was very fast and friendly! The food was delicious and the environment is like a bar but also like a family restaurant and it's really family friendly. My wife and I enjoyed our first visit and we will definitely be back!“
“I've been eyeing this spot for months and was starving after work. I also needed gas... and this place is located inside of a gas station. I know from experience, that sometimes these type of places are the best! And- I was right! This place was awesome. I actually ordered a Kid's Burger because I'm not into double cheeseburgers, too much meat. The burger was so juicy; flavorful and CRISPY on the edges. The toppings were fresh and the Shelley's sauce was delicious! I also got an order of fries with Red Hot Riplets seasoning and they were super crispy and flavorful. Take-out only, food is ready in about 5 minutes. Staff were friendly, you order and pickup at the gas station counter. I would totally come back if I was in the area!“

“I live in Texas but I'm from The Lou so Everytime I visit I have to have White Castle's this location did not disappoint. Great service on a snow day. Smiles and all reciprocated. My cheese fries and sliders were exactly how I expected. The frozen ones in Texas can't compare to the real deal!
I do recommend and would return next visit.“
