“A true gem in Rankin county!“

“The food was good as usual. The fried green tomatoes and crab cakes were so delicious we couldn't get a picture before they were eaten. Keyonte was the worst server ever. We placed our order upon arrival. However, she acknowledged hearing it but gave no valid reason for not putting it in. We had to request silverware multiple times. The royal reds were delicious as usual. However, Keyonte let the shells sit on the table for an extended amount of time despite there being little room for the oysters. We had to ask her to remove them. We asked her 2x for a to-go box. Finally, as we proceeded to self serve, Keyonte offered and delivered a box that was obviously too small for the oyster poboy and the check for $144.“

Seated quickly.. greeted by all the staff as i walked to my table with the host..the general manager was cleaning a table helping his crew and spoke to me in a welcoming greeting manor! With in 3min of being in the building everyone had turned my bad day grumpy mood upside down! The food is amazing fast fresh delivery to the table! Amazing atmosphere! “I had the Crunchy Pork Scallopini today and it was excellent! The Richland Hot Sauce on the boneless pork chop mingles great with the Cajun Cream sauce on the pasta. This is one of the top dishes that A’ha offers.

Dietary restrictions: A’HA is happy to adjust dishes for individual taste. My wife does not like spicy foods so Luke adjust dishes (if possible) for her.“

“I had a reservation for 8 PM on a Saturday night which is an understandably busy time. According to their policy, cancellations must be made by 12 PM the same day to avoid a no-show charge. Unfortunately, just a few hours before our reservation, my boyfriend’s father suffered a medical emergency. When I called the restaurant, the staff was incredibly understanding and canceled our reservation without any penalty.

This level of compassion and flexibility isn’t something you’ll experienced everywhere in the area. When I explained the situation to another establishment we planned to visit same day before Ely’s, they refused to offer any consideration because we didn’t cancel “24 hours in advance,” despite the circumstances involving a sudden loss in the family.

Ely’s grace during such a difficult time was the epitome of excellent customer service and gave us one less thing to worry about. I genuinely look forward to dining there in the future and will gladly recommend them to others.“

“I absolutely love Valley St Fish, when I have a fish craving this is my go to place. The only thing I dislike is that this place has probably been in business since before I was born and they have don’t no upgrades to the building or parking. You would think with all these centuries of being in business they would make some improvements to the place. You also have to have life insurance to park and cross the street to get to the building as traffic is horrendous. Other than this it’s the best fish place in the city.“

“To be fair, I've only had one dish here but it keeps me coming back! The red beans and rice is the best in the whole metro area. I'm not even a big red beans n rice fan, but that's how good this dish is. The staff are very friendly and personable. Food comes out hot and fast. Really unique mardi-gras-style atmosphere. “Absolutely the finest in the area / staff is wonderful / owner is always on hand and is one of the finest in the area / I have eaten in the finest restaurants from Chicago to the west coast none can compare with the service and food !!! And has the best coffee anywhere / onion rings with every order if you want!!! Music is mostly oldies and at level so you can talk to your partner while enjoying the restaurant - I have been eating there for over 30 years - nothing has changed - he has a 7ft security guard that can make you feel very safe. You just have to try it if you have not, you would be missing a great and memorable outing“
