“So I think we could have had an absolute amazing meal here for sure, great potential for it, we arrived early and ordered drinks and appetizers which came out quick and delicious, we were waiting for others to join to order, when they arrived we ordered, then proceeded to wait a good 30-45 minutes for our food, we were enjoying good company so it wasn't terrible but a lil irritating, he came by once to tell us it would be out shortly, 20 minutes later after the other tables who ordered after got their meals ours came out, it looked delicious, but mine was barely warm and my husband's was cold, at that point it wasn't worth complaining, but he was super bummed since it tasted good but the cold really threw it off. Not sure if we will visit again, maybe but it wasn't really busy enough to get long waits and cold food.“

“Made advanced reservations to celebrate our anniversary supper here. They honored my request for a booth (even though they let you know up front at reservation booths are not guaranteed).

Our gentleman server was top-notch all the way through. He took the time to explain their daily specials and was conscientious to ask if we had nut allergy when we ordered the brownie. He made sure we had what we needed and checked on us often.

We had portabello fries, salads, redfish Anna, and the brownie. All hot straight from the kitchen. The entire meal was Delicious!!

Parking: Leave earlier than usual, especially if you have reservations, in case you have to park elsewhere and walk to Walker’s, since their parking lot fills up quickly at peak hours.“

“First time trying Elvie’s today and I told my boyfriend I wanted us to become Saturday morning regulars! What a fun and cozy atmosphere. I had an omelette and it was the lightest, fluffiest omelette I’ve ever had, so good! My boyfriend had the Shrimp and Grits and he really enjoyed it. I hate I’d waited so long to try Elvie’s! Also, the postcard you get with your bill was such a sweet touch.“

“EVERYTHING! All 3 of us got different, perfectly cooked and artfully plated fish dishes and enjoyed a pan of cornbread and strawberry salad with feta and vinaigrette. Bread pudding was STUPENDOUS as was the Caramel Pie. Our server was attentive, helpful and friendly. Can’t wait to return at lunch with friends. “Today was the 1st time I’ve been to The Manship. We sat outside as the day was overcast and comfortable temps. The atmosphere is laid back southern elegance. Lunch menu choices made it difficult to choose. We started with the seasonal cocktail, a very Manship twist on a French 75 served frozen in a coupe and garnished with a violet. This is one I hope they make a permanent part of their menu. Perfect balance of sweet/sour and delightful on the palate. Next we shared smoked tuna dip served with what I think were fried tortillas seasoned with chili lime and saltine crackers. It rivals the best smoked tuna dip I’ve ever had from along the Atlantic. For entrees we chose small plates: Manship Woodfired Oysters served with focaccia and a special of Bbq pork belly served with Brussel Sprout slaw. I am not fond of brussel sprouts & surprisingly I loved the slaw. The oysters were beautifully served in a dish that kept them warm and not overcooked. The thick slices of bread were perfect for dipping in the butter sauce used in cooking the oysters. The pork belly was so good. Just the right amount of rub and sauce cooked to tender, melt in your mouth perfection. Our server was a total pro. I feel so bad because I didn’t write down her name. My daughter who was with me once worked as a server at a restaurant much like Manship. She was very impressed because our dishes arrived in perfect order and timing. She was knowledgeable about every item on the menu. Do yourself a favor and go eat at this wonderful establishment! We will come back!“

“We went to Lou's Full-Serv last night to celebrate our anniversary. It wasn’t our first time but it was our first time to get the filet and holy hell was it good. We ordered the steak and fries and got the filet for our cut. Cooked perfectly medium rare with nothing but a little salt, pepper and char grill to give it flavor. It was hands down the best steak I’ve ever eaten and sooo worth the price. You also get a mound of the most delicious hand cut fries which I couldn’t finish but took them home because they’re that good. Got the s’mores cheesecake for dessert which we split. It wasn’t the s’mores cheesecake I remember from the old restaurant but it was still delicious. Then of course an order of bread pudding that I brought home for breakfast because I can’t go to Lou’s without getting the bread pudding. I didn’t get a picture of the steak and wish I did so you could all see its gloriousness.“

“Went in for breakfast on a weekday. It's in this hotel near the police station and courthouse. We were seated and our waiter got a little busy. Then another waiter that was not.ours came and was so helpful. The service was polite accurate helpful friendly funny we had an excellent time. The food was delicious. The jam marmalade and preserves were adorable and delicious. We had the breakfast sandwich and an omelette with everything and extra bacon. We drank coffee whiskey and water and oj. “We have been here twice now. First for drinks & watch a game. Second visit we ate with drinks. Service was prompt and friendly. Huge selection of beer on tap! I had the bacon cheeseburger with barbecue sauce. Literally one of the best burgers I have ever had. Burger was hot and fresh! My son had the chicken tenders and asked for them to be tossed in buffalo sauce. He said they were excellent and he is a super picky eater! The atmosphere is lovely and old school tavern feel. We LOVE this place and will definitely return! HIGHLY recommend, I sure don’t agree at all with the low rating!!! Excellent bar and restaurant!!!“

“This is where I go to purchase my favorite fish Pan Trout ? is sold HERE delicious! The owner Mr. Henry is superb! He very nice and kind and so are his employees. There is a variety of foods cooked and sold daily. Stop by and purchase a meal or you can call ahead and make orders by phone. They do deliver. Bon appetit???!!!

Vegetarian options: They serve salads and several other cooked vegetables. I haven't had the fried pickles yet.

Parking: There is front door parking at the Restaurant and a parking lot across the street with plenty of free parking spaces.“

“Was out last Friday evening around 10:15 and was sure to be out of luck when hunting for somewhere to eat. It was looking like Whatabeen tired of eating or Waffle Bell... But happened to do a quick search anyway and Right on Time there it was like a Light House in a storm...Capitol Grill...kitchen open surprisingly late. I gotta say that the food was absolutely delicious! Even to be later in the evening, everything we ordered was fresh and very well prepared. We weren't rushed at all like some places will do when you come in off peak hours for the kitchen. We received Wonderful A+ service from our waitress who gave good recommendations for dinner when we requested them and had fun shooting a couple games of pool afterwards. Overall Great Experience! A Peaceful, Welcoming, and Fun Environment. Great Job!! Will be returning soon. 5☆☆☆☆☆“

“Solid pizza, good selection of menu items, great taste.It’s hard to find good toppings to breading ratio in the sense of quality. I think I just found it. I’d suggest this place if you want a really good personal pizza for a good price.“

“Just walked in because attending an event and venue next door. Service, atmosphere, and food were great. I had fried mushrooms, shrimp Alfredo pizza, and peach margarita. My friend had loaded fries, fried shrimp, and potatoe salad. We will definitely go again when in Jackson.“

“This place was great! The food is locally sourced and fresh, and was delicious.
The owner shared knowledge about the history of the building, and there’s an outside patio that is fun for kids. The chicken fingers were the best we’ve had in a long time! Also recommend the Brussels sprouts and the rice with mushroom gravy. And the fries are awesome too. Really all the food was amazing. Highly recommend!“
