“I absolutely love Valley St Fish, when I have a fish craving this is my go to place. The only thing I dislike is that this place has probably been in business since before I was born and they have don’t no upgrades to the building or parking. You would think with all these centuries of being in business they would make some improvements to the place. You also have to have life insurance to park and cross the street to get to the building as traffic is horrendous. Other than this it’s the best fish place in the city.“

“Absolutely loved everything I ate here. The oysters were priced super reasonably and were fresh and delicious. I got the Cajun pasta and was surprised by the depth of flavor. Service and atmosphere were both perfect when we stopped in around lunchtime and the food came out quick. If we are ever passing through again will definitely swing back by.“

“I was living in Mississippi for a bit and was excited to see the original inventers of the charbroiled oysters out of New Orleans extend their goodness out here to Jackson!! It was great to have a taste of home right at my doorstep. Man, these kats didn't miss a beat and brought this awesomeness here to the capital city of the Magnolia State of Mississippi. “I was surprised that restaurant that had a dress code and a waiting list a mile long had such a meh, Sunday brunch menu.

We had a reservation and still waited 20 minutes or more.

It was noisy to the point of yelling across the table to he heard or not speaking at all.

My party was seated next to the private function room where every time someone exited, I was hit with the door.

All in all, I was unimpressed with the body, over priced, restaurant“
