“I get what I always get..
Olivia's Old South on a croissant with an extra scoop & my extra side was grape salad. The whole meal is to die for (not literally, but you know what I mean. ). I even suggested the Olivia's Old South to another soon to be customer of Chicken Salad Chick. She tried another kind but liked Olivia's Old South better. It was just sweet enough for her.“

“This place was amazing. I had the fish, chicken, and shrimp. All 3 were delicious. Their sweet tea is definitely southern sweet tea. The corn bread was amazing also. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Jackson Mississippi or the surrounding area. The service was very friendly and my waiter was awesome.“

“Went to Saltines for lovely Monday night dinner.
Started off with some fried green tomatoes and they were absolutely amazing!
Then we continued with seafood pasta and blackfish and both were great, but nothing topped the cinnamon roll cheesecake. We absolutely loved this dessert as it provided everything you’re looking for to finish up a meal.“

“delicious food and everyone is so nice and the woman who ran our food even made jokes with us:) i usually go through the drive thru and was surprised how nice the inside is. they also have watermelon tea and strawberry lemonade both were very delicious. i always get fruity fran and mac and cheese. never disappoint!!! and the COOKIES! SO GOOD!“

“Rustic but elegant. Perfect for date night. The duck wontons are the best starter. I had the grilled salmon and it was wonderful. It was flavorful and not a bit dry. The house salad with pears and blue cheese crumbles was fantastic. If we ever get back to this area, we are definitely going back and I'm definitely getting that salad. The fish tacos were really good. My hubby got the chili sauce on the side and that worked great for him. Our server was fabulous! She was so much fun! This is probably in my top 10 restaurants.“

“Wes and I visit Georgia Blue often. Our doctor’s offices are right by it so it’s convenient for us. We’ve met some special friends there throughout the years. We’ve had just about everything on the menu. Our favorites are Wings, Duck Wontons, Nachos, Turnip Green Bites, fried pickles with sweet chili and blue cheese for dipping(blue cheese for everything lol), crab claws, dynamite shrimp, fried crawfish tails, chicken tenders, the house salad with Jenn’s Vin, the burgers and many more. The service is always great and the cocktails are wonderful. The shrimp tacos are one of our favorites. They’re spicy but so good(pictured).“

“Finally made it for the first time this weekend. We had the chicken fried steak and chicken and waffles. They were excellent! Environment was cheery and comfortable—not too loud even during a busy brunch. The restaurant was well staffed—everyone was so friendly! We cannot wait to come back“

“Chicken salad chick absolutely. Love it nice clean. Well, organize professional staff outgoing. The delicious food, always fresh normal size portions. Great place. Maybe not, but I think it's a healthy option.
Parking: The parking lot is not large but adequate.“

“I had heard that the mermaid cafe was a nice little restaurant for the Lake Caroline neighborhood where you could get a nice hamburger. I was pleasantly surprised at my culinary experience. I had some of the best red fish that I have ever had and my friend said the same about the fillet. The only thing that exceeded the food was the courtesy from the staff. Highly recommend it“

“I’ve been here a few times. As long as it’s not packed out, the food and drinks come fast. Of course, more people longer wait times. Came for a bday brunch. I got salmon breakfast. It was cooked a lil too long for my liking but other than that I have no complaints! The music was nice, not too young of a vibe. The inside is clean and stuff is friendly.“

“I can’t say enough good things about the staff—they were incredibly kind, helpful, and hardworking. multitasking constantly, I never once saw anyone on their phone—they were fully focused on doing their jobs, and doing them well. If you were working the night shift around 5:30–6:30, thank you for your dedication and kindness! The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The broccoli and rice casserole was packed with flavor, the Mexican cornbread was phenomenal, and the chicken on a stick was hot, juicy, and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend!“

“Great bbq. Service was good. Nice employees. Came in with my family when we were moving my sister and brother in law to Madison from Florida. Was a nice meal after a long day of unloading a moving truck. Had the football game on too which was nice to not miss.“
