“Woke up with excruciating back pains and couldn’t cook my Sunday meal as usual, but I was blessed to discover a hidden gem in Southaven that lifted my spirits! I’m not big on eating out because I don’t like canned foods, but this place was a breath of fresh air! As I walked in, I was greeted with the uplifting sounds of gospel music, which was a wonderful surprise! While waiting in line, I was treated with a warm smile and an apology for the wait, which wasn’t even long! As I stood there, waiting to be served, I was inspired by the scriptures on the wall, which reminded me of the power of faith! Before even tasting the food, I could tell it was made with love and care! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was exceptional! I have found the perfect place for my soul food fix when I need a little pick-me-up! Thank you Angela’s Delight for a truly uplifting experience! I will be back!“

“If you go here expect to wait a while to be seated and on your food. The food is ok. Nothing special. Fries and baked potato were better than the steak. The only reason I even give red lobster a positive review is our server. I think her name was Madison. She was great. But if it wasn’t for her I would go much lower with this score.“

“Great customer service!!! Fast service!! First time trying this place, and the wings were delicious. I ordered the 5 piece buffalo mild combo, and the wing was hot and crispy as well as the fries. It came with celery, 1 ranch cup, and a soda. Next time I'm in town, I'll be back.“

“Great food at all locations (I’ve been eating at the original on Madison since 1978). We ate lunch in Southaven today with our 3 year old granddaughter. Servers brought her crayons and a coloring sheet; also brought her order (mac & cheese) as soon as it was ready. (ours wasn’t ready yet). This is now one of only about three places we’ll take her and her 8 year old sister to eat. Child friendly and real food (not frozen and microwaved*) * The mac and cheese is packaged Kraft; that’s a good thing, since neither g’child will eat anything *but* Kraft ❤️“

“Look - these burgers will not make you smack your momma but thank her for her existence! Lord the smooth vibe and. Then the burger onion rings or sweet potato fries WHAT! The staff was nice and young brother and beautiful red head lady! They were very nice! This place has the BEST BURGERS IN MISSISSIPPI HANDS DOWN!“

“The food is great and the music is always loud with a great selection. This is a good hang out spot for adults and karaoke lovers who would like to enjoy a fun night night out without all the riff raff you may experience in Memphis. I like the diverse cultures that frequent this establishment.“

“This new location is absolutely beautiful the sitting, and ambience is perfect. The food was delicious, and the drinks were excellent as well!! My only issue which is nothing at all like the location in Collierville, is that evidently they don’t do the wine sampling to choose what you want with your protein. After speaking with the GM and her having a lack of knowledge of the history of the wine selection or the sampling process I found that odd. I frequent the other location quite often, and haven’t ran into this issue before. I’m hoping that it’s just because they’re new, and will get things in order soon. Thanks guys beautiful place with a welcoming bar staff.“

“Samantha was our waitress and was also tending bar. She was the only person in the front of the house. She was literally jogging around making sure everyone was getting their orders in and serving drinks. She was so enthusiastic and pleasant even though she was working her a** off and still maintained a very pleasant personality. Thanks much Samantha!!!“

“Sometimes sitting at the bar turns out to be a fantastic experience. Tried the New York Strip instead of the usual ribeye. This is a better choice. Flavorful, no fat or gristle. Baked potato with extra butter and a Cesar salad added to the evening.“

“Not only did we have a great meal. w We had great service too. I ended up short 20 dollars change last night 8-22-20 & when I called to explain I was worried. Thought they might think it was a scam. Nope. Manager told me we are 20 dollars over so come on and get your money. I went. Got money. And all workers there were kind. These guys are amazing. Good food. Good service. 5 stars!!!!! “This is my primary Waffle House I go to. Everyone always nice and speak regardless if they are serving you.
I mainly go early afternoon and enjoy my meal. Will get to go on Saturday and love to see the busy pace of the cooks at the grill
Within my price and coffee is some of the best.

“The 3-stars are not a reflection of the food. The food is 5-stars. Some of THEE best fast food ever, especially those homestyle burgers. However, the service is not so great...never fails, no matter the location, everybody acts like they don't want to be at work, which I totally understand bc who likes work? BUT in a customer service role, kindness is part of the job. If you can't be kind, maybe choose another job. The wait for the food is also a bit long, but everything seems to be made fresh, plus, again, the food is AMAZING, so it's well worth the wait. Honestly, the food (and ice cream) is so good, you're willing to deal with the bad attitudes and the waits. Lol.“

“Very busy Sunday. Our wait was shorter than what they told us it would be.
Our table was nice and service was quick and efficient. They gave us plenty of time to look over the menu and came back frequently to see if we needed anything. The overall experience was wonderful.“

“We came in at about 6:30 a.m., Saturday, and we were greeted and seated immediately. The place was immaculate! Jenny was our server, and she was prompt and very friendly. Our food was just the right temperature and it all actually looked as beautiful as the pictures on the menu. (Kudos to the chef. I don't know his name, but I could see the shine from the top of his head.)
The music was at a great volume that added to the laid back atmosphere. We'll be back again if we're ever traveling near here.“
