“Last night we found ourselves at Phattys Steak & Seafood here in beautiful Billings Montana. Upon walking in the front door my nose was greeted with the most divine smells of butter, cheese and garlic setting the mood right for a wonderful dinner to come. After review of their diverse menu, we decided to start with some char-broiled oysters. Let me tell you, they have those figured out. A dash of hot sauce and a quick down the hatch, my taste buds exploded with sensations I have a hard time coming up with words for. I decided to stray from my normal meat and potatoes style dinner for my main course with a pasta dish. The Blackend Chicken and Andouille pasta caught my eye, and it did not disappoint. Exploding with classic Cajun flavors, it was everything it needed to be. My date decided to go with a classic Connecticut style Lobster Roll. The taste of warm lobster and butter with a perfectly grilled roll was sensational. It's not very often we get talked into a desert, but tonight seemed like a break from the ordinary. They had a Pineapple Creme Brulee and omg. The top was crispy, the custard was creamy and on the bottom boasted a surprise of a pineapple filling that totally set this creme brulee apart from all the others I have ever tried. Our service was top notch, the ambiance was classic steak house mixed with a modern upscale vibe. One thing I could not understand is why this place is not packed on a Saturday night!!! Don't be sleeping on this place friends!!! I 100% recommend this fine establishment and look forward to visiting it again!!!”

Since it was my first time, the wonderful girl working there said, “No problem, I’ll walk you through it.” She helped guide me through the menu and made great recommendations along the way. The bowl we created was one of the most delicious meals I’ve had in a long time. The tuna was incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. “Came with my family today for a late lunch. I got the OG gyro with fries and my husband got the Donner wrap with falafel as his side and my kids got a side of the sweet and regular fries. Y’all, this food was SO good. My kids ate every single fry, my husband kept stealing mine and the garlic aioli was perfect with them too! He said his Donner was the best he’s had here in the US, and he’s tried them all over the country. He liked his falafel but he said the fries were just too good. The gyro was amazing! Great portions and flavor. We will definitely be back!!”

She was friendly and provided brilliant service. She also gave us the best recommendations. Secondly, we were lucky enough to have their orange glazed duck wings. “I finally got to try this place today and let me tell you, this local business did not disappoint! The sea salt bagel has that perfect bit of salt and sour flavor and the bagel itself is not too dense like most grocery stores. Crumb was absolutely perfect! The red onion and chive cream cheese was also incredibly flavorful but balanced to not overpower each bite with that strong onion taste. Oh and they also gave me a dog bagel for my pups that were waiting outside for me! 100/10 recommend!”

“I moved to Billings two years ago from the OuterBanks of North Carolina. I have really been missing great seafood until today! I passed by several times but decided to stop today. I came for the Fish and Chips, but the I saw fried oysters!!! Oh Man!! As good as anything I had on Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills or Nags Head. And it was out of a food truck! Pictures show a really nice indoor restaurant. Don't know if that's still there, but the food shouldn't be missed. Highly recommend.”

“I love this Brewery. We found it on Boondockers Welcome as we are travel around the country. We have been in Fort Collins for 3 Days visiting friends and riding bikes from one brewery to the next. We rolled into the parking lot in our 40' 5th wheel just in time to grab a beer at 7:55 p.m. M y Hefe was the best Hefe I've had in 56 years. I wanted a second one but they can't serve after 8:00. What is it with Montana?Who stops at just one beer at 8:00 p.m. on a Friday night? The customers were so friendly and welcoming. We introduced ourselves to a few people and the crowd around us just got bigger as people told us all about Billings, Montana. This is a beautiful Brewery and creates an amazing, friendly atmosphere. The pizza was OK aside from that. real salty with a LOT of oregano. I took almost a POUND of cheese off and it was still a lot. I'm not exaggerating. I keep a kitchen scale on my counter. barely under a pound. the pepperoni wasn't even a single full cover let alone triple. While I'm sure the pepperoni and cheese were a mistake it's still too salty with way too much oregano. the oregano was dominant in the sauce. i pretty much got cheese & crackers with pepperoni and oregano.”

“They know my dogs by name, they ask how they are doing all the time. Love the diy dog wash super clean and we are in and out in 30min. They provide everything from towels to dryer and they beat part I don’t have to clog up my bathtub. The daycare is top notch always someone in there watching the dogs and making sure they are all playing nice. They can see when dogs need a break and are proactive to avoid any issues. 10000000% recommend this place. Everyone is amazing and cannot recommend these folks enough. They really do care about our fur babies”

I made a post on Facebook (searching for Brunswick Stew), they commented on that post to let me know they had it available this past Wednesday and Thursday! I told them I would be coming in with hubby to try it and when we got there, they greeted us, told us how their restaurant worked and anxiously waited for our opinion on their stew! John kept walking by making little jokes and making us laugh and they seemed to really genuinely care if we enjoyed the stew which we definitely did! “I was just there last month for the Friday night buffet in Springfield, IL. It was TERRIBLE! The chicken and pizza were brought out fresh but everything else was so terribly bad, I don't know where to start. The sides like, green beans, corn, mashed potatoes, and gravy were old and room temperature. They weren't even warm! And to be clear, I arrived when the buffet opened. In fact, the staff were late getting the food out and myself and three other tables had to wait 15 minutes after paying and sitting down to start. The salad bar? The dressings had old crusted/gummed dressing all over the sides of the containers. How easy would it have been to put dressing in new containers after refrigerating them from the night before? Most of the containers in the salad bar were nearly empty and again, were obviously left over from the last buffet. The ice cream machine was broken and making an annoyingly loud humming noise throughout the dining room. There were NO cookies, which used to be warm and gooey. The ONLY dessert on the buffet was pizza dough sprinkled with cinnamon. And yes. That was difficult to chew and over cooked. The carpet in the dining room is black from foot traffic, but worse was the bathroom. One stall had no toilet paper and the stall doors, sinks, and toilet paper dispenser were smudged with God knows what. I was sat at a table looking in the direction of the bathrooms and watched customer after customer come out and go straight to the woman at the front counter to complain. I used to love this location, the food, and the overall experience. I watched as people complained about the sides not being warm, the bathrooms, and the ice cream machine that was broken. The staff blamed the shift before them and said, "I walked into work to find this." They apologized and also told us that the manager went home. To whomever owns this location, I understand that business owners struggle and that good staff can be difficult to obtain or hire. Equiptment breaks down and needs repairs. But, cleanliness and the food not being warm or even placed in fresh containers is laziness. If you care about your business, be present. Show up. Pick up a mop bucket, get in the kitchen, and practice a standard that respects the good people who give you their money. This establishment used to be clean. The buffet used to be amazing. I know they are capable. please start caring again.”

The food is good and the prices are reasonable. My favorites are the quick break breakfast and the senior Spanish omelet. It's a comfortable and friendly restaurant. I highly recommend this place.”

It is indulgent without being childish, nostalgic without pandering, and structurally sound in a way that suggests forethought, testing, and a quiet disdain for mediocrity. This is not sugar for sugar’s sake. This is craftsmanship wearing comfort food as a disguise. 🍫 My daughter ordered the jalapeño popper crêpe, which reads on paper like culinary bravado until you taste it and realize it’s actually restraint masquerading as audacity. The heat is calibrated. The creaminess is deliberate. The balance is surgical. This is what happens when someone understands flavor instead of just stacking it for attention. 🌶️ Then there’s the environment, which deserves its own paragraph because it reveals the soul of the place. Warm, human, unpretentious, and thoughtfully designed, including a small play area where my one-year-old granddaughter could roam safely while the adults reclaimed the radical act of enjoying food at a normal pace. That detail alone is not accidental. It’s philosophy. It says this place understands real life and built itself accordingly. 🏠 The Baked Escape is not just “good.” It is disproportionately good for how quietly it exists. It feels like a place someone built because they cared, not because they optimized. If you’re local and haven’t gone yet, you’re not missing a meal. You’re missing evidence that someone nearby is doing things correctly, on purpose, every single day. 🥹”

“This Scott A guys review is completely false. I was sitting in the lobby when he came in and verbally disgraced the worker. He was bragging about how much money he makes to the worker and how the worker isn’t doing his job. The worker was kindly informing him about mobile order policies. I don’t get this Scott fellow, the worker wasn’t shaming anything.
