“I moved to Billings two years ago from the OuterBanks of North Carolina. I have really been missing great seafood until today! I passed by several times but decided to stop today. I came for the Fish and Chips, but the I saw fried oysters!!! Oh Man!! As good as anything I had on Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills or Nags Head. And it was out of a food truck! Pictures show a really nice indoor restaurant. Don't know if that's still there, but the food shouldn't be missed. Highly recommend.”

“Last night we found ourselves at Phattys Steak & Seafood here in beautiful Billings Montana. Upon walking in the front door my nose was greeted with the most divine smells of butter, cheese and garlic setting the mood right for a wonderful dinner to come. After review of their diverse menu, we decided to start with some char-broiled oysters. Let me tell you, they have those figured out. A dash of hot sauce and a quick down the hatch, my taste buds exploded with sensations I have a hard time coming up with words for. I decided to stray from my normal meat and potatoes style dinner for my main course with a pasta dish. The Blackend Chicken and Andouille pasta caught my eye, and it did not disappoint. Exploding with classic Cajun flavors, it was everything it needed to be. My date decided to go with a classic Connecticut style Lobster Roll. The taste of warm lobster and butter with a perfectly grilled roll was sensational. It's not very often we get talked into a desert, but tonight seemed like a break from the ordinary. They had a Pineapple Creme Brulee and omg. The top was crispy, the custard was creamy and on the bottom boasted a surprise of a pineapple filling that totally set this creme brulee apart from all the others I have ever tried. Our service was top notch, the ambiance was classic steak house mixed with a modern upscale vibe. One thing I could not understand is why this place is not packed on a Saturday night!!! Don't be sleeping on this place friends!!! I 100% recommend this fine establishment and look forward to visiting it again!!!”

He was very impressed with his meal. Our server, Julian was outstanding!! If there was a downside to our experience, it was that the space was a bit noisy but we still had some great dinner conversation.”

Y’all, this food was SO good. My kids ate every single fry, my husband kept stealing mine and the garlic aioli was perfect with them too! He said his Donner was the best he’s had here in the US, and he’s tried them all over the country. He liked his falafel but he said the fries were just too good. The gyro was amazing! Since it was my first time, the wonderful girl working there said, “No problem, I’ll walk you through it.” She helped guide me through the menu and made great recommendations along the way. The sea salt bagel has that perfect bit of salt and sour flavor and the bagel itself is not too dense like most grocery stores. Crumb was absolutely perfect! The red onion and chive cream cheese was also incredibly flavorful but balanced to not overpower each bite with that strong onion taste. Oh and they also gave me a dog bagel for my pups that were waiting outside for me! 100/10 recommend!”

“I love this Brewery. We found it on Boondockers Welcome as we are travel around the country. We have been in Fort Collins for 3 Days visiting friends and riding bikes from one brewery to the next. We rolled into the parking lot in our 40' 5th wheel just in time to grab a beer at 7:55 p.m. M y Hefe was the best Hefe I've had in 56 years. I wanted a second one but they can't serve after 8:00. What is it with Montana?Who stops at just one beer at 8:00 p.m. on a Friday night? The customers were so friendly and welcoming. We introduced ourselves to a few people and the crowd around us just got bigger as people told us all about Billings, Montana. This is a beautiful Brewery and creates an amazing, friendly atmosphere. We may have to stay a second night so I could have that second beer”

“They know my dogs by name, they ask how they are doing all the time. Love the diy dog wash super clean and we are in and out in 30min. They provide everything from towels to dryer and they beat part I don’t have to clog up my bathtub. The daycare is top notch always someone in there watching the dogs and making sure they are all playing nice. They can see when dogs need a break and are proactive to avoid any issues. 10000000% recommend this place. Everyone is amazing and cannot recommend these folks enough. They really do care about our fur babies”

“I quit going to the downtown perkins cuz there was always some choice folks around but I had an appointment today and let me tell you I will be back. When I first walked in I was greeted with friendly faces and a big welcome. It was nice alot of places don't do that anymore. They were a little busy and I had to wait about five minutes. When I say they were hustling all around it doesn't even cover it. They had everyone working together like a machine. I was so impressed that I will be coming back in. They have a new sign in machine so it's easy to get rewards their pie looked so fresh and delicious. I do miss the éclairs but I found the peanut butter drop delightful. I was treated so nicely. Alot of places have forgotten hospitality but I was astonished and the amazing way I was treated. Thank you perkins for a really wonderful experience and a good place to eat.”

This is what happens when someone understands flavor instead of just stacking it for attention. 🌶️ Then there’s the environment, which deserves its own paragraph because it reveals the soul of the place. Warm, human, unpretentious, and thoughtfully designed, including a small play area where my one-year-old granddaughter could roam safely while the adults reclaimed the radical act of enjoying food at a normal pace. That detail alone is not accidental. It’s philosophy. It says this place understands real life and built itself accordingly. 🏠 The Baked Escape is not just “good.” It is disproportionately good for how quietly it exists. It feels like a place someone built because they cared, not because they optimized. If you’re local and haven’t gone yet, you’re not missing a meal. You’re missing evidence that someone nearby is doing things correctly, on purpose, every single day. 🥹”
