“Love to come here and get cute little drinks with friends. Feels like I get a vacation from Montana crust, it's just velvet and pleasant to sit here with a cute little fruity foam drink. Some days are for Flip's and some days are for Bar Plata. And I love the latter when I have them.“
“Great little place. Not too busy right now since they just got there regular hours back and are open 7 days a week now. But if you wanna just shoot some pool and have a drink somewhere not overpopulated, this is the place to make your own.
Happy Hour 4pm to 6pm Mon-Fri
This place is super clean too, not a spick of dust. The bartender Chris does an emaculate job at keeping the place tidy.
It has a dance floor, a jukebox and sports betting.
No food at the moment but may come back in the future.

“Important note: I went during Zootown/Pride weekend. Huevos Rancheros sauce was BOMB. Very very tasty! Coffee...meh. Home fries, good. Kitchen was slow. Between sitting and eating was just under an hour. Ran out of pancakes too. They were not prepared for Zootown crowd numbers. Hopefully they are more prepared next year. The staff were really great, just coulda used more help in the kitchen maybe? Would for sure go back.“

“I had the absolute best chicken dinner of my life at 1889 Missoula. Yes, I ordered chicken at a steakhouse.... I don't regret it. The dish was perfectly executed and exactly as described: Roasted Local Chicken with a crispy skin airliner, herbed fontina dumplings, roasted mushrooms, spring vegetables, and a savory chicken jus. It was so incredible that I had to ask for a spoon just to scoop up every last drop of the leftover jus on my plate. Honestly, I would have asked for a straw, but that might have been a step too far for my wife and kids! Highly recommend giving this dish a try.“

“We go here occasionally, great atmosphere since they got a brick & mortar location downtown, great food truck prior to that. Bro & sis cooking team kicks butt at rush times, love the food & authentic culture & cuisine of the owner-operators, but it is pricey. Operating in Missoula is expensive but if you have the money, this is the best Mexican sit-down in town!“

“Upon arrival we were told that Blue Canyon no longer was using Open Table and did not have our reservation. When we showed them our Open Table reservation via our iPhone they said that they would share that info with their management team. Luckily, they had a table near the location we requested and it all worked ot... Just curious if they were correct about no longer using Open Table. Thx!“
