“I do not know what culinary sorcery they have used for their pancakes with vanilla bean syrup but l am here for it. Those are the best pancakes I have had in my 50 years of life. The sausage patties, the biscuits and gravy, the holiday mimosas, and the service was unbelievable. Everyone was so friendly and you can tell they all work as a team. We will be back again....and again...and again. :)“

“Pisgah is a place of wonderful memories and magical musical nights. I quit drinking a few years ago so I haven't been there in a long time but I remember their beers fondly and was happy to see some non alcoholic options. Had another magical time seeing the Sunnyside String Band. Pisgah is full of warmth, community, love and the magic of WNC.“

“Definitely make Black Mountain Bistro your next lunch/dinner spot. We ate 2 meals there in one day because it was so good. Fried pickles, pretzel bites, chicken tenders, ribeye steak and crab cakes we all so good! Ask for Sarah to be your server. The sweetest person!“

“NO FOOD. The beer selection is super solid and the drinks get you where you're trying to go. The one bartender made my paloma with tajin, which I was not expecting, and it was HEAT. If you're looking for a good dive bar this is the spot.“

“We walked in after a morning hike, needing food and beverages.
Anna the bartender and Tori our server were both great, for service and selection assist. Great personalities and conversation, and around just when when we needed them.
The brussel sprout app was super.
We couldn't decide on pizza so we got a thin crust and a Detroit style, both were good, and now we have leftovers, for the win!“
“By far the best butcher shop in Buncombe County! Fresh meat, locally sourced, premium cuts, amazing service, kind and knowledgeable staff and worth visiting Blk Mtn for! I drive 45 mins from Haywood county just to come here if that tells you anything.“

“Wood fired pizza is not my favorite style overall but it’s pizza and I love all things pizza. Now that said this pizza was quite delicious! I highly recommend and I will return with each visit to Black Mtn from now on.“

“Came here for the kids play area. They have a sand pit with kids construction type trucks for the kids to scoop and play. Got some draft beers to sit and hang out after a hike while the kids burn off energy. The kids did not tire of this area and it was well kept and clean. Also ordered the fries, which are delicious but made with beef tallow.“

“Employees are friendly and cheerful. Chef accommodates special requests. We had salmon cakes, hamburgers, Curry bowl, wings, and fresh fish of the day... all well prepared and delicious. The live farm animals are precious..will be back..thanks Mark and Kim!“
