“Katie and I went to Boone, NC over 4th of July this year and found several great local places. We found a local coffee shop Hatchet Coffee and it was amazing. Their staff was friendly and helpful with all our questions……the coffee was great!! I just ordered more coffee last week and received it today…….never have I ever gotten a personal Thank You note from a company!!! I will always be a big fan…..support local businesses!!! Thanks again!!!“

“My son was screaming while I was ordering, the young girl taking my order ran to go grab him the milk I ordered and waited for me to pour it in his sippy and took the cup back to throw away. She obviously did not have to do any of that and I am so grateful she did because the line was long and it allowed me to wait in line without a screaming baby. Every time I’ve gone to the Wichita Falls location I’ve always had above and beyond customer service.“

“There have been comments about how slow the service is. Well let me tell you, when the "biscuit experience" is like mine, there is going to be a wait from the throngs of people just scrambling for the experience because it was ah-mazing. I got a country ham, egg, cheese biscuit. The ham was perfection but that biscuit... let me just tell you, I have had many... I mean MANY biscuits in my 68 years but NEVER have I had one where the biscuit did not crumble. Eating a sandwich this flavorful without a crumbling biscuit made for the most wonderful breakfast biscuit I have ever had. If I thought for one second they would divulge their recipe I would certainly ask. Again, the best breakfast biscuit experience this 68 year old has ever had. Well done!!!!!“

“I have young children and look for places that are family friendly. By that I mean safe and where I'm not getting dirty looks for bringing kids in. This is the place. I've been here 3 times with my family and I've always had a positive experience.

The bartender is very nice, everyone seems chill and relaxed, the atmosphere is nice, the Kratom made me feel mellow.

I'll definitely keep coming here when I'm in Boone.“

“There's a reason everyone goes here. It's an excellent coffee shop and a great hangout. Also perfect for studying. There's enough ambiance for both. Coffee/study date? You got it. Need to relax? It's an awesome lounge (although I prefer the solarium across the hall). Getting together for a coffee meeting? Everyone at App State, and I mean everyone, will recommend Crossroads. It's also a popular area to write, read, work, and study. Things that could be improved include open hours on weekends, music variety (I get that you're going for a "coffee shop" aesthetic, but there are plenty of kinds of music that can create that. For example, the time you played the Mos Eisley Cantina Theme was a welcome surprise.), more live piano music, and even more menu items like café con leche, horchata, etc.. I'd also like it if you restocked the display cabinet for pastries more than daily since it always seems to run out by mid-afternoon, but I understand that could be a financial issue.“
